Not related to the site at all really, just something I want some advice on.
Currently I live in Hong Kong, China. I've lived here for 13+ years, and I've been going to a school that uses the British school system. Unfortunately, since August 2012 I've been depressed. In December 2013 I was officially diagnosed with Bipolar Spectrum Disorder, a subsection of depression that means I fluctuate from good to bad on a regular basis. It's been caused by multiple issues, two of which are the stress put on by school (IB) and a certain person in my class. I've been given the option to move to the US to live with my grandparents until I finish High School. I'm inclined to take it, but I'm just wondering what you guys think.

Nah it's really not a problem people come for advice on all sorts of things.

Okay so there are a couple of things to consider about this. First off, the move and moving to a new school might cause you more stress and could be very taxing. You'd be moving to a timezone halfway across the world and it might be harder to adjust. Plus you'd have to adjust to living without your friends and family and with your grandparents and you'd be the new kid.

But of course, it would be a new environment and I don't know where you'd be going but the UK and US systems are pretty similar (and if IB stands for international baccalaureate then my school does that too), so hopefully it won't be difficult to keep up in classes. Maybe a change would be good and I think it's worth the risk if school is that bad.
