Laila's Bunk: Playing My Guitar

I sigh, "But I never miss that note! This sucks!." I put my guitar down and I bury my face in my hands.

"It's okay, what cheers you up.

I start thinking, usually all the stuff that I did that cheered me up was back home. "At home, my friends and I would go the mall, or practice singing and playing our guitars. Playing our guitars is pretty much the only thing that we could do right now. Or we can go to the Lake?"

"Lets go to the lake!" I say.

"Yeah ok," I walk to the Apollo Cabin trying not to make any noise because it's past curfew. I turn to Samantha, "We need to get our bathing suits." I go to my drawer and pull out my bathing suit and run to the bathroom to put it on.

I grab my bikini that was the color of the sun went into the bathroom and snuck out of the Apollo cabin.

I follow Samantha in my marigold bikini and snuck out making sure we don't make any noise. I make my way down to the lake and dip my toe in it. "Oh my gods it's cold. But I don't care." I run backwards and run and jump into the lake.

I dive into the lake. when I get back to the surface I say, "Thats the easiest way to get wet in cold water!"

"Look, another camper" I wisper.

Over there I say pointing to a boy in blue trunks.

I keep looking and try to make out a boy with blue trunks. "I'm still not seeing what you're seeing."

"Oh." I say.
