Coding gets used for pretty templates for posting and character displaying. It could be just nice BB coding, or more complicated HTML, but it's really just to make things super pretty :D

Hmmmmm... Well, ok! I think I get it, but I've seen in all the cabins that you have to put your demigod character in their respective cabin. Do you press the little icon with the paper and <> signs and type in the code?
