| faye lynn mcjeanThe small teenager, known as Faye McJean, was practically bouncing off of the walls of the Athenian cabin. Maybe it was the lack of sleep, or the caffeine that was pumping through her veins that was causing her to jog around and smile. The girl hadn't been like this in a while, a long while, but she decided that if she was going to be in a better mood, she would have to try a little more. Waiting for something to happen wouldn't work anymore. If the demigod was going to have a decent time, she would have to plan it out and actually do something fun. Normally, Faye would be appalled by the idea of a 'sleepover', considering she had basically roomed with Livia every night for the last three years. Yet the idea of actually staying up later than normal, watching corny movies and gossiping was an interesting concept. Faye hand't ever actually been to one of these 'sleepovers', and wondered if they were actually any fun. The common depiction of girls giggling over the latest heartthrobs made her sick, but this was Liv, they wouldn't be doing anything like that. Sometimes the change in Livia's personality scared Faye, in the sense that her carefree half-sister was gone. At the same time, maybe they could relate to each other now. Before, the demigod felt like she was significantly older than Livia. Now, she wasn't sure. Faye had turned her dorm into a long bed, by pushing the two twins together and sliding pillows and blankets across. Cans of Coca Cola were slid under the bed, with boxed cookies and juice pouches hiding as well. A handheld DVD player was under her pillow, for the movies that she had borrowed from cabin eleven. The movies consisted of your average romantic comedies, all staring Matthew McConaughey, who was one of Faye's favorite actors. 'How to loose a guy in ten days', 'Fool's Gold', 'The Ghost of Girlfriend's Past' and 'Sahara' were all hidden from view. Okay, maybe Sahara wasn't a comedy, but she loved the book it was based on, so she'd borrowed it as well. Clad in her tribal print pajamas with a long sleeved shirt, the demigod slid on her slippers and went to find Livia. She hadn't actually told her half sister about the whole 'let's be young and dumb for a while' thing, but she hoped that it would be okay. Hopefully her good mood would be contagious, and the girls could have a decent time. Searching around the cabin, Faye had a spring in her step, waiting to find a certain blond haired demigod. "Liv!" she called, pursing her lips slightly. She smiled soon after, seeing the person she was looking for. "Hey, do you want to watch a movie or like, four, tonight?" Faye asked, her grin broadening. "I've got like, a crap ton of food too."pajamas are cool layout and graphics (c) sapphire | |

| Livia hated sleepovers, to say the least. She hated the giggling in the middle of the night, the idea of watching corny movies and laughing about boys, playing truth or dare until someone threw themselves out the window. Livia had never had a real sleepover, granted, but she knew by now from watching chick flicks and television, not to mention the Aphrodite campers from 3 cabins away.
So when Faye approached her, Livia’s immediate response was No. But she hesitated, too long. Livia missed spending time with Faye, and she knew this might be a good time to bond and get their minds off the things that had come to pass in the last couple of months. Maybe she should tell Faye about Nik? Livia had never wanted Quell to find out, but Faye was definitely more peaceful when it came to these type of things, plus she was also a girl and had her own boyfriend.
Livia only had her own room as a very little girl, then she shared with Quell for the entirety of her life (they got along better than Livia and her biological younger sister) and then Faye and the other Athena campers. Liv and Faye had slept in the same room for years (although Livia had gotten to the point where she ended up sleeping in the unoccupied bed beneath Quell’s, like she had many years before) and it didn’t quite make sense they were only doing this now. It wasn’t like Livia had anything better to do, and maybe she should try to be happy for once instead of just moping around? The best way to cure moping was to do something, and as hard as that was to bring herself to do, Livia knew that she probably wouldn’t regret this. Probably.
Following Faye into their room, Liv stood in the doorway for a second, admiring Faye’s handiwork. Her sister could be a good architect one day, she was very adept at organizing rooms. ”Only if there’s food.” Livia said, grinning, before jumping down onto the bed and looking through Faye’s selection of movies.
”These are terrible Faye what is wrong with you can we watch something that isn’t going to make me vomit?” Livia said, half grinning, half mock frowning. She forgot how good it felt to grin. ”How about Harry Potter or Hunger Games or something” Livia said, rummaging through the pullout drawers underneath her bed. There were several movies stored in there and Livia pulled them out as she spoke. ”The Avengers? Monty Python? Oh please can we watch Monty Python it’s been forever.” Livia said excitedly.

| faye lynn mcjeanFaye watched her sister hesitate, which faltered her smile a little bit. It could've been selfish of her to assume that Liv would want to, after all the idea of a sleepover when they resided in the same dorm was a little overrated. However overrated it could appear, the girl wanted a decent excuse for her to actually talk to her sister. It seemed like ages since they had actually had a civil conversation with one another, and Faye felt like the conversation was needed. She had plenty of things to tell Liv, things that she wasn't sure if her sister knew or not. Like how James wasn't actually a bad guy, and how they cared about each other despite the ups and down that always seemed to happen. Faye also wanted to remind her that no matter what, she would still be standing by her side through thick and thin. The demigod didn't think she could stress that enough. Once she heard agreement from Liv, Faye's smile reignited into a broad grin once more. "There is, tons of it," she insisted, laughing as she pulled out some of the boxed cookies. She took a seat on her own bed, relaxing into the stuffed assortment of pillows. "Don't dis my movies!" she said with a grin, defensively pulling her romantic comedies into her arms. "Matthew McConaughey would be disappointed in you, Liv," Faye muttered a-matter-o-factly as she tossed her movies into one of her drawers. It was refreshing to laugh, no matter how strange it sounded and felt at the same time. Faye decided it was a good change as she rolled her eyes at Liv. "I suppose," she said with a shrug, laughing as she turned on the DVD player. "I haven't watched that in like, basically forever," the demigod agreed. Draping her arm over the edge of her bed, Faye grabbed the ten pack of juice pouches. Pulling it up, she grabbed one for herself and Liv. "Fruit Punch, Capri Sun, Reduced Sugar, Oooo," Faye offered, grinning as she tossed one over to her half sister. pajamas are cool layout and graphics (c) sapphire | |
