TiberiusWINTERS
Tiberius had no clue what he was doing, agreeing to meet up with Quinn alone. She wasn't a psychopath, per say, but just a few more meetings with her and Ty's judgement might sway. She was nice, and he liked her. That was all. Ty didn't really know what he felt towards Quinn Taylors. Being friends was good enough for his brain, but not for his heart. He walked into the arts and crafts, letting out a sigh of breath he'd been holding in. He was crazy. That had to be the reasoning behind all this madness, he was totally and completely crazy. Quinn was going to give him a haircut, and Tiberius wasn't exactly ecstatic about the idea. Absentmindedly he ran his thin, spider like fingers through his black hair, which for now was reaching just past his ears and was soft as chinchilla fur. Ty had a feeling that was all about to change when Quinn got ahold of him.

"Hey, Quinn?" Ty asked as he walked by some tables, looking for his friend. The arts and crafts cabin was completely empty; abandoned, some might say. Ty just thought it was underused, and it wasn't abandoned, because he was there, and Quinn was supposed to be. A fine layer of dust had settled on the wooden tables, which looked like they hadn't been updated since the early '60s. Glue bottles lay on their sides, long since dried out. Tiberius sneezed, and he wasn't sure if it was because of all the dust in the air, or the amount of glitter that was spread out over every single surface. For a son of Aphrodite, he sure was odd.

Tiberius didn't like all that makeup stuff or perfume or cologne. He didn't see the point. If you were beautiful, you were beautiful, and no amount of eyeshadow or fruity smelling perfume could change that. Of course, that was easy for Ty to say, being a descendent of the goddess of beauty herself. He was already naturally beautiful, with black hair and pale china skin, he looked like a doll, a very fragile doll. Tiberius turned a corner, searching continuously for Quinn. Quinn with scissors. Scary Quinn with scissors. This idea of hers was looking less and less appealing to Tiberius the more he thought about it.

quinn arabella taylors

As far as children of Apollo go, Quinn considered herself one of the best in the art of making herself look as good as possible. Sure, she wasn't a natural beauty like some, but anyone could pull an illusion with the right materials. The demigod was hoping to do the same for Ty today, only she didn't think it would take that much work. Really, all children of Aphrodite were stunning, even if she didn't like to admit that.

Of course, the girl had a plan for his hair. She liked playing his hair, whether it was her own, a friend's, or Ty's. Quinn Taylors might not be a certified hair stylist, but she was decent enough to feel comfortable with scissors in her hands. Maybe her friend wouldn't have so much faith in her, but that didn't matter. After all, she was the one with the weapon, wasn't she?

She was gathering together her variety of scissors and other sharp objects when she heard Ty come in, at least she assumed it was him. Not many people came to the arts and crafts cabin anymore. Quinn couldn't blame them; the place looked almost as old as it was, and stank of Elmer's glue. However, she was trying not to focus on the smell as she exited the back room and saw her friend, but the better word was almost crashed into him.

"Gods!" she shrieked, grabbing her scissors before they could be stepped on. Setting the set of sharp objects down on the nearest, rather dusty looking, table, she turned to Ty. The demigod never looked like she was one to hang out with someone like Tiberius, and today was no different. Her flowing top, skinny jeans, and hybrid combat boot / high heeled shoes proved that she was still an appearance obsessed teenager. However, the smile on her face was as genuine as her excitement. "Ready to get snipping?" Quinn asked, a playful grin lighting up her face.

TiberiusWINTERS
Tiberius was caught off guard when Quinn ran into him. He didn't expect anything and was clueless about most things, including love, which made no sense whatsoever, seeing as he was the son of infatuation. Ty was an exception to that rule. He didn't get love, he didn't even try too. Now, he got chess and reading and being a proper gentlemen born and bred in the 19th century London, England. "Putain, Quinn. Avez-vous peur de la merde hors de moi!" Ty exclaimed in French, putting his hand up to where his heart was, trying to calm it down so he could think and speak properly. He knew that Quinn most likely did not know French like he did, and that was good, because he cursed. Men should not curse around ladies, Tiberius. His father would often scold Ty, whenever he said something not meant for his little sisters ears. What else could he do but say Yes, Papa, in a small, but utterly defeated voice? Tiberius felt unloved by his father, and he had what Ares kids called; Daddy issues. They bullied him for it. Tiberius told himself that it didn't hurt and it did not matter, but it did.

Often times Ty would just take a book that he enjoyed and go hide out in the forest. He'd much rather go to Quinn, but he knew she had her own life, and he couldn't always bother her with his stupid issues. Quinn had friends, Ty did not. That was what he was cursed with, even though he had all the things he needed physically to be popular. Tiberius just didn't have the mental state of mind to be considered 'socially normal.' Quinn had tried to fix that during the Christmas bonfire, but the experiment went horribly wrong, and Tiberius ended up chickening out and running back to the comfort of books and chess boards. After he had gotten over the shock, Ty looked and smiled at Quinn, but then quickly saw the scissors and the grin went away.

Tiberius needed payback. Quinn couldn't get away with cutting his wonderful black locks off for free. Something needed to be done about that smile on her face. If it were up to him, Ty would make her learn how to play chess. But that would have been too tedious and too long and too frustrating for him. Maybe that would be another time when they didn't have mutilating his scalp on the to-do list of things to get done while the storm raged outside, blowing snow and ice left and right outside of the cabin.Ty thought that because of how old the cabin was, cold would seep in through the old moldy and creaky wood. That wasn't the case, obviously, as it was warm in the room. Ty looked around, and back at Quinn, mostly in the silver scissors in her hand. "Not remotely. But I don't have a choice either way, do I?"

quinn arabella taylors

Quinn didn't know what her friends would think of her now, hanging around with someone like Ty. She didn't mind him, and had gotten used to his tenancies and actions. Occasionally, he was actually funny. Not that she'd admit that to him either. Admitting things weren't a strong suit for Quinn, it was something that she wanted to, or had to do. Emotions were another thing that she hid, after all, they were basically just baggage to most people, like her.

She was a little taken aback as a different language erupted from Ty's mouth, something that she didn't quite understand. French maybe? The teenage didn't have the time to take a foreign language class when she was in high school, and had no desire to learn it now. That took up time, time that could be used for so many other things, like... hanging out with friends. Quinn knew that sounded pathetic, because that's what all teenagers said, but she enjoyed time with her friends. They could just be with her, and situations could be possible and fixable with people she trusted. Of course, some friendships were faked for fame, but her relationship with Ty didn't need to be faked.

Hearing his sarcasm, the demigod simply rolled her eyes, noting how his eyes were darting at the silver weapons in her fingertips. "Nope, no choice whatsoever," Quinn replied, slicing the blades together in an almost cynical way. Despite the wind howling outside, the arts and crafts cabin remained in tact, it's ancient foundation holding strong in the winter weather. She flicked a golden curl out of her face, and smiled once more at Tiberius. "You can sit down now," the demigod said with a smirk.

TiberiusWINTERS
Tiberius inwardly groaned, and stroked his black hair for the last time. It wasn't terribly long, only reaching to his shoulders if he didn't style it, be he almost always did. Even though Ty knew nothing about love, he did know about beauty, though he chose to ignore a great number of it. He didn't do makeup (boys weren't supposed to wear any, anyways) he didn't do extravagant clothing options (his closet was full of sweaters) but he did do hair. The best part about him was his hair, and Quinn was going to take that away from him. But at least he'd get payback, though she didn't know it yet.

Ty sat down, noticing the things around him. There really wasn't anything but old glue bottles and old, stale macaroni pieces from when the kids decided to play around with them. There were other scissors, of course, but they were old and completely rusted over, unlike Quinn's, which was a silent gleam of silver meant to destroy his black hair. Tiberius picked one set of scissors and tried to pry them open, but they wouldn't budge. The harder he tried, the more resistant the blade became and soon it flew out of his hands, cutting Ty's wrist and landing on the floor with a loud clatter. He winced, but didn't tell Quinn about it. He didn't want her to think she was a baby, which he was, but he would never admit it.

There was also a reflective surface. It wasn't a mirror, per say, but he could kind of see into it's non luster shine. The sheet of metal was dull and it's finish was wavy. Ty noticed that his eyes were a green today, an olive green like the color of muted leaves. Usually they were grey, and maybe blue, but it was very rare that Ty's irises were ever green like this. They changed color with his emotions, and maybe green was dominant when he was anxious about something. He liked his eyes, they were the only thing he had ever thanked his mother for. They were pretty, they were beautiful, they were astounding, they were unique, and Tiberius Winters loved them.

"Let's just get this over with before you cut off my head or something." Tibs said, closing his eyes tight so he couldn't see what Quinn was doing. He didn't trust her around pointy sharp things, but what choice did he have? There was no chickening out now, he had already agreed to and planned this entire thing. He was just waiting for the click of the scissors, just waiting for that first snip of smooth and silky coal black hair to fall on the ground, now feeling rejected and unwanted. Ty knew he was being a baby about his hair, but what else did you expect from an Aphrodite child?

quinn arabella taylors

Quinn smirked as she noticed him dragging his fingers through his hair, almost like it pained him to think that soon the locks would be on the floor. no longer attached to his body. The somewhat symbolic movement didn't affect the girl at all, and she almost found it funny. She hadn't ever seen someone so compassionate towards protein strands, but the demigod also didn't really care. She was slicing off his hair either way.

Setting up her combs, brushes and scissors along the wooden table, she heard some clatter around Ty. Quinn didn't look up from her setting up, but she did notice a string of blood on the rusty weapon that now laid on the floor. Her friend's sarcastic remark earned a smile from the demigod as she turned to face the back of his head. "I will not decapitate you," she muttered, the laugh in her voice blocking most of the sincerity of the message.

Taking a strand of the boy's hair, the demigod positioned her silver weapon of destruction. With a single muscle movement, the silky black hair fell to the floor. "See? You still have a head," Quinn reasoned, a smirk obvious on her facial features. The girl moved the hair to the next patch, in line with the previous cut. She was starting on the bottom layer of his hair, and would move her way up later.

The girl had a plan for the head in front of her, of course. Quinn Taylors had learned the hard way that plans affected how you lived your life. If you played it safe, you'd be fine, but you would never be something extraordinary. She wanted to be remembered, not from her hairstyles, but something. Anyways, her plan was to cut the bottom section of hsi hair storter, and leave strands on the top to fluff up. Hopefully it worked.

TiberiusWINTERS
Tiberius hadn't dared to open his eyes while Quinn was snipping away at his hair. He could feel it being detached from his head, like a great weight was being lifted from his shoulders, It did feel lighter, certainly, but the feeling would take some getting used too. "Yeah, for now." Ty said, his eyes still shut tight. Deep down, he knew he was a big baby, no matter how hard he would try and hide it from Quinn. He felt like a loser compared to her. Quinn got all the glory, all the friends, all the praise, or that was how it seemed to Tiberius Winters. He didn't envy her, that would be wrong and ungentleman like. No, Tibs was content with living in Quinn's shadowed limelight, never really making public appearances.

Tiberius was complete rubbish around people, and talking didn't come natural to him. He stuttered around people, averted his gaze, and most of the time just avoided them for fear of public shame. But he didn't do that with Quinn. He quite liked hanging out with her, no matter how dangerous the activity was; Cutting your hair, for instance, was one of the most stupid thing Tibs had ever done. But was he going to stop Quinn from doing it? Not in a million years. It gave him a burst of adrenaline that raced through his veins. With every beat his heart made, Ty enjoyed this more and more, though he did fear the outcome later on. He wondered if Quinn would purposefully destroy his hair, but that would have been unlikely, at least he hoped it was.

Tibs mostly did this to rebel against his father. He didn't hate him, how could he? His father was the one who raised him, loved him, cared for him. But that was exactly the reason why Tiberius despised him so. He hadn't had a chance at a normal childhood. Ty wasn't allowed to go to school (his father thought that both public and private were corrupt) or get a pet. It had been a hard childhood, but Ty couldn't say he didn't enjoy it. But he was kidnapped and taken to camp and everything just went downhill from there, and that was when Tiberius started to see the faults in his fathers plan to make the perfect victorian son. He couldn't adapt to the ways of a normal teenager, and that was what made him such a target for bullies.

He pushed those thoughts away, knowing that if he thought about it long enough, he'd become angry or depressed or a mixture of both. So instead of focusing on the past, he focused on the present. He had to give Quinn credit where she was due. She hadn't cut his scalp, and that was good. Ty slowly opened his eyes to see his hair, and to his surprise, it was perfect. "Quinn, have you ever thought about being a hair stylist as a profession?" Ty asked her, turning his head to look at her.

quinn arabella taylors

Quinn's slim fingers continued allowing the scissors to slice away at the black silk in it's path. The work was simple enough for the demigod and her perfectionist - like nature. If she didn't cut the hair right, she'd make it even somehow. Imperfection wasn't an option, especially not on one of her best friend's hair. She would make sure his locks were the most attractive they had ever been, she was sure of it.

The demigod wasn't quite sure where her obsession for success started, but whatever or whenever it was, the effect was still driving her life today. Quinn Taylors doesn't fail at anything, she avoids situations. Quinn Taylors doesn't overstep her boundaries, she overlooks them. Quinn Taylors isn't just another demigod, she's the queen. Of course, anyone who hadn't figured out what made her tick wouldn't know that. She had kept up a mask of calm and sanity to ensure her secret obsession stayed just that; secret.

Running a sleek hand through what was left of the top portion of Ty's hair, a smirk formed on the girl's face. She was proud of her work, and unashamed to say that. Taking a bottle of gel from the side with her weapons of mass destruction (hair stuff), the girl squirted a light amount of the clear fluid on her hand. Quinn then ran it though the top section, trying to make it stand on edge, but still flow naturally. Once the desired effect was applied, she stepped back, admiring her work.

The smile on her face broadened as she accepted the praise from Ty. "I used to, but I think I'll be doing bigger things later on," Quinn admitted, running a hand through her own hair. "Told you I wouldn't slice you up," the girl added, laughing at her own joke.

TiberiusWINTERS
"I never doubted you for a second." Tibs said, pushing himself up from the chair. His new haircut felt weird on his head, like before he had worn a very heavy hat, and it had been taken off. He felt as light as air, and suddenly more confident. Tiberius shook his head, shaking some stray black hairs from his head, and then he looked in the mirror again, still fascinated that Quinn did that good of a job. He ran his hand through his freshly cut hair and smiled. It was soft to the touch, like goose feathers, and it felt nice between his fingers, which were long and spindly like a spiders, but they were perfect. Everything about Tiberius was perfect, though he would never admit that. His father had raised him to be humble, and humble Tiberius Winters was. He knew that somewhere out in the great wide planet they called earth, there was someone better than him. Better at being pretty, better at being proper. And yes, gods forbid, there was a person out there who was better than Ty at chess. He didn't like to admit that however. Ty took great pride at being a chess player, and he also took great pride in his haircut now.

He rushed over, and gave Quinn a great hug, a great smile pasted onto his face like a madman finding his joy. "Thanks," Ty said, and after a millisecond he let her go, not wanting things to get too awkward between them. He didn't know what he felt about Quinn Taylors. She was, in his mind, impossibly impossible. Was she his girlfriend? Tiberius laughed at his own joke. No, she wasn't. He'd never get a girlfriend in a million years, even if he did want one. He didn't, as Ty was content with just hanging out with Quinn and his collection of sweaters and classic books. Everything was perfect for once. Tiberius was still smiling, and still amazed at his haircut. He turned to Quinn, and put his thin hands on her thin shoulders. Their complexions were so different; Tibs was as white as a sheet, and Quinn was tan.

He directed his companion to the chair which he had previously sat at. Ty gently guided her into it. "Now it's my turn to do something different." Tiberius, of course, meant something different for him. Quinn, he was pretty sure, had already done this a million times, seeing as she was a girl and it was just a fact that they put makeup on everyday. Ty was glad he wasn't a girl, because he probably never would put it on right. Then, again, being the son of Aphrodite did have its perks, and maybe being perfect at putting on makeup was just one of them. After all, the goddess had given him unnaturally good looks, and a sassy attitude to match. Though the attitude hadn't been reveled until Tibs started to hang around Quinn. "Did you happen to bring a makeup bag with you?" Ty asked, looking around him.

quinn arabella taylors

Quinn raised an eyebrow at her friend's remark, distinctly remembering him commenting about her injuring him in some life threatening way. "Sure, pretty boy, sure," the girl responded, a smile twisting it's way onto her face. The comment didn't bother her, it was just another sarcastic remark from a girl who wasn't supposed to be enjoying her time with him. Right? The girl hoped that was the situation. Few people had the pleasure of seeing the real Quinn Taylors, who actually had a few brain cells to spare despite her fashion sense.

Admiring her trim work, the demigod was taken aback as he wrapped his arms around her. Slowly, the girl returned it, a smile on her face, finding his grin contagious. Quinn wasn't sure what the contact meant her, but assumed it friendly. At least, that's what her mind told her it was. Her heart on the other hand was confused and wouldn't make up it's mind. "No problem, pretending to harm you is always a plus," she whispered back, a laugh floating over her lips. Returning her arms back to her sides, the demigod continued looking at his hair. Maybe it fit him, but the new hair was something she would have to adjust too. None the less, Quinn liked it. After all, she was the one to make it.

His contact surprised her, but she didn't mind it. The sudden burst of confidence she saw in Tiberius was shocking, but in a pleasant way. In some sense, she felt like it gave them something in common. Quinn conformed into his movements, seating herself into the chair he had sat in. Crossing a leg over the other, she situated herself comfortably. "Different?" she mused, raising an eyebrow slightly. His next question almost seemed too simple, and she overlooked it. "Yeah, it's the big clutch in my purse," she muttered, waving a hand over to her large purse. Her eyes widened at what Ty had meant by it. "You better know what you're doing, I don't want to die from makeup overload."

It feels like the perfect night || Quibs Ben-ba10

tiberius bradley winters

Tiberius reached for Quinn's makeup bag, his tall and lanky form bending at the waist as he grabbed it with nervously shaking hands. What if he messed up her makeup? What if she got mad at him, and never spoke to him again? Ty was never good at this kind of stuff, girly stuff, that is. He wasn't good at masculine things either. His brother, Gabriel, had always been the jock in the family. Eponine filled the spot of the princess. Victor was the brainiac, or so it seemed. You couldn't really tell what a 5 year old could amount too at such an early age. Charlotte was compassionate and caring, and she was everything Tiberius wanted to be, but had failed at. Nevertheless, Tibs loved his sister more than words could say, and he wasn't jealous at all. He didn't mind only being good at chess. His movements towards the makeup bag were slow and robotic, as if he were rethinking the situation. Of course he wasn't, he couldn't turn back now. Tiberius Winters was going to take the road less traveled today, and this was just part of the dangerous course.

He grabbed it, and came back up, setting the makeup case on the old dusty and creaky table in front of them. But as he did so, Ty noticed blood on his arm, and it startled him quite a bit. The cut from the scissors had made a deeper wound then he had previously thought, and there were three thick crimson lines, though they were dried. It was amazing he didn't feel pain, but then again, demigods were almost immune to that sort of thing. Tibs rolled down the sleeves of his sweater, and he was thankful for wearing them almost daily. Quinn could say what she liked about them, but Tiberius thought sweaters were a gift from the gods. They were perfect, and had so many uses to them. Tibs numbered them off in his head as he took out the many jars and bottles and containers from the makeup bag and placed them on the table. 1) They kept you nice and warm all year round. 2) They made you as pale as a ghost. 3) They made you look smart. And finally, number 4) They hid any blemishes on your arms or chest that you didn't want others to see. In Tiberius' case, it was his cut, though he wasn't sure if Quinn had seen it previously or not.

Once everything was out, Ty looked at each specific thing. He absentmindedly went to tuck his hair behind his ears, and realizing it wasn't there, quickly put it down so as to not look like and idiot in front of Quinn. His new haircut would take some getting used to, but he would adjust to it. Tibs wanted to impress Quinn Taylors, not  because he wanted to be part of her popular group, but because he liked her, and he wanted her to like him back. His mind said one thing, but his heart said another, and it was all very confusing for him. Quinn made him a better person, though Tiberius would never admit that in front of her. "Oh have a little faith, Quinn. I'm the son of beauty, how bad could it possibly be?" Ty asked as he began to pick up foundation. He prayed to Aphrodite that he knew what he was doing.

quinn arabella taylors

Quinn ran a hand over her face, trying to remember what she had applied on her skin that morning. Looking at her fingers after her swipe, the demigod pursed her lips slightly. Lipstick? Yeah, whatever was left of it by now. She must've also applied foundation, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and... whatever else she used. Her daily routine was old and boring, so she barely had to think about what she was doing as she got ready each day.

Running another finger over her lips, she found limited color. It must've worn off. Flicking her brown eyes over to the form of Ty coming back, she raised an eyebrow. Watching him analyze each product was amusing, even thought it shouldn't be that interesting. On each product, there was some sort of clue as to what it was. Hopefully the figure studying them caught onto that fact. Otherwise, Quinn's face would be very interesting after this.

Smiling as she caught him trying to tuck a strand of hair around his ear, she almost laughed, finding the situation comical. Tucking a strand of her own blonde curls out of her face, the demigod figured it would be best to tie it back, before she got plastered with makeup. Sliding a ponytail holder off her wrist, the girl's hair was soon in a high ponytail, curls ruffling down like a waterfall. Snorting at Tiberius' comment, Quinn simply shook her head. "Coming from a sweater-wearing chess player, very very bad," she responded swiftly, a smile curving on her lips.

After Tiberius had read everything on the various makeup containers, he felt much more confident than he had 10 minutes ago.  He just rolled his eyes at Quinn's comment, smiling as he continued to read directions for concealer. He didn't understand why Quinn had to always wear makeup, she was beautiful without it. Tibs looked up, dazed and confused. Did he really just think that? He shook his head. He didn't like Quinn that way. He'd never actually felt love before, like true, honest love, not just a stupid infatuation over a model or an actress. Sometimes Ty wished he could be like his father, cold and unfeeling, never showing the tiniest hint of love. Of course, Ty was like that, just not towards Quinn. Ice was prone to melt in the presence of the sun. Tiberius picked up all of the makeup canisters and brushes in both hands. He was ready. He had to be. He walked back over to Quinn, who had just recently pulled her hair back into a thick ponytail. Tibs ran a clean brush over her nose playfully. "Excuse you, sweaters are amazing, don't dis the sweaters, Quinn Taylors. And chess is wonderful, maybe you should try playing it sometime." With that, Ty spun the chair around so she couldn't face the mirror, and his work began.

Tiberius Winters only knew that he had one talent. That was it. That one talent was being good at chess. It was a pretty useless talent, he couldn't deny it. Ty was humble about it too. He knew that somewhere a person was better than him. One day, as a child, Ty had gone to his step mother and asked her if he was special. She had told him that he was the most special little boy that she had the pleasure to meet. And then she picked him up and they made lunch together. If Tibs could remember correctly, it was fish sticks with grapes and mac 'n' cheese, and Ty got to decorate the plate with carrots and celery. It ended up looking pretty good to four year old Tiberius, and the image still looked appeasing to sixteen year old Tiberius. Maybe he was also good at decorating and design, and Ty hoped he wasn't. He didn't want to be a stereotypical Aphrodite camper who was ditzy and blonde and didn't know anything except for girls and clothing. Then again, Tiberius wasn't blonde or ditzy. He knew a lot about clothing, mostly sweaters. And girls were a mystery to him still.

While he was deep in thought, he had been applying makeup to Quinn's face. Ty's hands moved without his brain telling them too, and they just added eyeshadow here and there, highlighting her glorious features. He didn't really know what he was doing, but he hoped it looked good. He hoped Aphrodite graced him with the power of good makeup skills. After a few minutes, he was done, and he took a minute to look at Quinn before spinning her around again. In Tibs' eyes, it was really good, but he wasn't a girl and he didn't do the daily ritual of putting makeup on to enhance one's beauty. He let Quinn look in the mirror. "Well? Did Aphrodite bless me with the powers of being a makeup artist?"

Quinn wasn't sure how she felt about trusting a male to do her makeup, but she trusted Ty enough. It was weird, trusting this son of Aphrodite more than some of her closer friends. However, she wasn't really friends with those people. Those people were popular, and popular people were supposed to fit together perfectly, right? False. The demigod knew that she could get along with ditzy people, but only for so long. Eventually, opinions would clash for the worse. When she was with Tiberius, they may clash, but not in a way that made them destroy another. And yes, Quinn had destroyed a few souls in her time. All it took was a few rumors and the world on your side. For her, the world always seemed to be there, and easily convinced.

The daughter of Apollo made the mistake of inhaling as Ty wiped a brush across her nose, making her cough and laugh at the same time. "As tortuously entertaining as that may seem -" she began, before being spun away from her previous position. "No, defiantly not." Chess, and other events that involved much thinking were normally avoided by Quinn, for a few reasons. She didn't enjoy testing herself beyond limits that she knew of, that just seemed unnecessary. The demigod also couldn't be caught trying to do such a thing, knowing it would tarnish her reputation forever. That's part of the reason that spending time with Tiberius seemed like such a risk. She hadn't really noticed until now, but this could be viewed terribly, especially for her.

Feeling brushes slide across her face, Quinn simply kept her eyes closed. It was easier that way, and she didn't really want to take any flying makeup to the eye. In her earlier years of beautifying herself, mistakes were very common. Now days, her fingers moved without thinking as it was applied. She hadn't had anyone actually do her makeup in forever, the last time being in middle school. The idea of having a friend, a male friend, do it was something entirely different. Before, having someone do your makeup was a joke. Now, it was more serious, but in the same kind of atmosphere. The difference was now, Quinn actually trusted the person applying products.

Feeling the chair spin back, the demigod opened her eyes slowly. The sight in front of her was amusing, but not in a funny kind of way. The powder and colors applied to her skin weren't bold or dramatic, but subtle and relaxed. In a way, her face reminded her of the patterns on some of Tiberius' sweaters. Smiling, she glanced up at her friend, giving him a thumbs up. "Yeah, you'd make a great girl Ty," Quinn responded with a wider grin.

Bold colors were never something that Tiberius liked to look at. Call him old fashioned, but neon shades of green and pink and blue and yellow were just an eyesore. He never understood why everyone wore them. Then again, Ty never really understood anything teenagers did. He thought that playing chess was fun, and that it was all you needed to have a good time in this world. Clearly he was wrong. People his age went to movies, played at the skatepark, and pulled all nighters while watching season upon season of Doctor Who or Sherlock or Supernatural. Those things never interested Tiberius much, and bold colors were on the list. So instead of making Quinn a fiery princess that was as bold as the sun, he just made her, herself, but with tiny little details here and there.

He had put a little mascara on her eyelashes, and using eyeliner, Tibs made little wings. They were noticeable enough, but they weren't the center piece of her face. For eyeshadow Ty had used a neutral color, and it glittered whenever the sunlight hit it. The makeup around her eyes were perfect, but then again, Ty knew that Quinn would accept nothing less than perfect. For Tiberius, if you tried your best, that was good enough for him. He wasn't considered an over achiever, nor could he be categorized as a slacker. Ty looked at her cheeks, which were covered with a gentle pink that blended quite nicely with her skin tone, and her lips were the same shade. Tibs admired his handiwork, his soft olive green eyes amused that Quinn actually trusted him. But then again, he hadn't done anything to Quinn that wasn't trustworthy.

Suddenly he looked away, he didn't want her to think he was staring at her. But that was what he was doing; staring. "Oh, I would have made a pretty girl, you mean." Tiberius said, standing up. "As I recall, you're the one who cut my beautiful black hair, which has disabled me from becoming a cross dresser. Honestly, Quinn, pick your words right." With that, he just stood there, not entirely sure what he should do next. Quinn usually told him what to do, and like a lost puppy, he followed her.

ooc- sorry for the short post. I have a lot of homework and so I'll reply to our other one tomorrow.
