Tick Tock, Tick Tock...
Time has run out.

On the 31st of December, demigods crowded the beach, waiting for the fireworks. There were tables of food and drink, nymphs serving them, and blankets were all laid out on the sand so no one would have to wreck party outfits. Music was blaring, people were milling around, some dancing, some talking.

The countdown began for new years as everyone giggled and found their friends, and love interests. Couples started to hold hands, ready for the new years kiss as the clock struck twelve.

Everyone started to scream.

"TEN, NINE, EIGHT, SEVEN, SIX, FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO-"

But as the clock struck twelve, and the fireworks went off, all it did was muffle the sudden sound of thousands of feet running. The sound of countless monsters roaring.

Some campers tried to run, the few who hadn't brought weapons. But they were the first to be attacked. The smart few who brought their weapons to the beach were the ones to survive to find a safe house, to find a place where they could create a base.

The war has started. And its hit Camp Half-Blood first.
