Cabin Descriptions Empty
PostSubject: Cabin Descriptions    Cabin Descriptions I_icon_minitimeSat Nov 30, 2013 7:16 pm

The Zeus one is simply white, with a bronze shield acting as a door. There are various designs of lightning bolts and eagles sketched into the side.
The Hera Cabin Igloo looks like it was painted, but that's the magic of it all. The white snow has streaks of all different colors, like a peacock's tail.
Poseidon's Cabin Igloo looks like someone mixed a couple hundred bottles of blue dye with the snow. It's a rich, full blue, with intricate designs of hippocampi and various other sea animals carved into the side.
Demeter's Cabin is the oddest of all, with snowbells and other plants blooming all around it, even though it's winter. The smell as you pass is vaguely intoxicating, and some people find themselves studying all the different plants on the green dyed Igloo.
Ares's Igloo is a deep blood red, with barbed wire resting around it and caution signs stuck up as a sort of door. It's kind of like their actual Cabin... only made of snow.
Athena's children have added to their Igloo since it was made. It started off as a very plain white Igloo, almost like the Igloos you see on TV. However, it's since been decorated with countless owls, all in various positions, and all with black coal's for eyes which seem to study you as you walk past.
Apollo's Igloo looks like it was made out of solid gold, just like the Cabin. However, what's happened with this one is that Ice has been used to form blocks, and somehow, in a way unknown to the demigods, the ice has been given a golden sort of color. The light bounces off it, and the most amazing thing? Where the light that bounces hits is a small, delicate sun design.
Artemis' Igloo was made in a similar way to Apollo's. The Ice has a very silvery quality, but it doesn't shine during the day, looking very plain. However, at night, when the moon is high, the cabin glows silver, and you can see the story carved on the walls clearly. There's a forest design, with deer and other forest animals running through it, and the moon high in the sky. People have been wondering how there's no trace of the carvings during the day, but that's all apart of the magic.
The most technical of the Igloos is the Hephaestus one, which looks like the snow has literally burned to a crisp. However, you can hear lots of sounds coming from it when you walk past, like people inside are making things. Also, oddly, smoke billows from a hole at the top of the Igloo regularly. However, the Igloo never melts.
Aphrodite's Igloo is pure pink, with a very girly sort of picket fence around it. It's the only Igloo with an actual door, which doesn't stop the smell escaping. It's like a hundred different perfume bottles all got upturned and the smell is staying around.
The plainest of all Igloos is the Hermes one, which isn't anything special. Above the entrance a caduceus has been carved, but other than that it's plain white, with no exceptional features.
The Dionysus Cabin is purple, with grape vines growing all over. Like the Demeter Cabin, the vines seem to grow no matter what, and there's no sign of them dying. The smell is sweet and pleasant.
Hades' Cabin Igloo is pure black, not the smoky sort of black of the Hephaestus Igloo. Outside the door, much like their actual Cabin, two torches burn green, but the fire does nothing to the snow the igloo is made out of.
The Nyx Cabin Igloo is as black as the Hades Igloo, however, set in the snow are lots and lots of little crystals, all of which shine during the day. At night, they look like the starry sky.
Hecate's Igloo is made of solid ice, with carvings of magical symbols and incantations keeping people out of it.
Khione's Igloo is probably the one most like an original Igloo. However, it's also the biggest of all. The walls are made of both hardened snow and ice, and inside you can find a softly burning fire and fake-animal pelt carpets where you can sit. Khione Campers have opened their Igloo for all other Campers, so they can come in when they want and warm up.
Finally, the Muse Cabin Igloo is as elegant as their Cabin. It's got lots of different colors on it, but it's strong and has greek columns just outside. Music can be heard from it as you walk by.
