| Nicholas walked into the library. He was mad at the satyr. Sure, he explained demigods thoroughly, but he was still confused. Nicholas had just been claimed by Athena, and he was barely sure who she was. Robert the satyr explained something about twelve gods/goddesses, and minor gods, but he was still confused. This all happened too fast.
He grabbed a book about Greek mythology and read. | |

It was not normal for Skyler to visit the library. A mixture of his dyslexia and tendency to make disruptions when he felt uncomfortable made Skyler an unwanted visitor. Even in the Athena cabin, when he had the decency to remain as quiet as he possibly could, it seemed that Skyler was unwanted. He had been kicked out several times for creating a ruckus and the librarian knew this. She glared at him from over the desk, her metal rimmed glasses pushed halfway down her nose so it looked as if she was watching him over her reading glasses. ”Not doing anything.” Skyler put his hands up in the air mockingly and spun slowly in a circle as he walked past the desk, perhaps making a bit too much noise. Like Skyler cared.
Running his hands through his hair, Skyler walked around the library. Now that he was here, he couldn’t remember why he had come. Was it to borrow a book? Skyler doubted that. Reaching an aisle towards the back (the one on Greek Mythology), Skyler stopped. Ignoring the boy already reading, Skyler walked down the row of bookshelves, running his fingertips against their spines. It made a small noise, yet Skyler continued on the off chance that the librarian was deaf. He doubted that the boy would mind: most people didn’t. In fact, most people just ignored Skyler. Not that he cared of course.
