It was dinner time, and as always, the Hermes table was nice and crowded! "To bad I haven't been claimed yet..." thought Meagan, one of the unlucky non-calmed demigods. "I wish i knew who my dad was." She was so depressed that she could hardly taste her food. "maybe I would feel better if... never mind... I'd probably just hurt them..." Such were the thoughts she always had. Ever since she got to Camp Half-blood, she had been getting some counseling to "help" her get over all the trauma she had gone through. "if only I could figure out who my dad was!!!" She was always trying to figure out the "big mystery" of who her dad was.

I sit down and start to eat my salad and listen. i turn around looking at the two girls. "Why would it matter. He ran out on your butt anyway right?" I say to her. I look at the satyr. "She's right. stop crying get over it and start training so you don't, get your butt kicked." I say. i sit down in front of them "I'm Grace by the way. Grace Jordan, not Grace Daily." I say.

"Maybe your right. But I still want to know!" Meagan was almost always tinkering with something. Now, however, she was busy making plans for her next big invention. It was REALLY complex, with lots of gears and moving parts. "What if he could help me?!"

"Well, most gods don't really, or can't really, help their kids out. It would be favoritism, and though some do it, some don't." Ama shrugged her slender shoulders, pushing a stray lock of hair back into place. "Amaranta. Ama if it's too hard for you to say." The satyress sat down, crossing her goat legs. "What you need to do, is figure out yourself. Who your god parent is, shouldn't dictate who you are. I've seen too many kids who know their god parents trying to change who they are to appease them. Just be yourself. Worry less."
