A visit from a much older sister -OPEN-

It was nearing winter, and finally her time would come to see her husband... But, for now she needed to get away from her mother, if even for a short time. So what better way to do that, than to visit her mother's mortal children? Persephone was easy to overlook when she decided to be, looking very much like any other teenager in camp... Though she did have a different air about her. Her long hair was braided and kept over her shoulder, to keep anyone stepping on it. Today she sported a simple sweater and jeans to fight off the chill in the air. As much as she adored it, she hated it all the same. Life was funny that way.

Wandering into the Demeter Cabin garden, like she belonged there, she sat and smiled at how well attended it was. "Hmmm, maybe I'll bring a gift of blue pansies next year at springtime..."

I wake up to a bad morning already. I was even happy, people have told me, even my family had told me I was boring. I go to the restroom and start to brush my teeth. I keep brushing them and finish. I walk back to my bead and grab clothes. I walk towards the restroom and get in the shower. I grab shampoo and start to wash my hair. I heard someone, probably one of my idiot siblings. I keep washing my hair and wash the soap out. I finish washing my body and get out.

I start to dry myself and get dressed. I put on my shirt with a ghost on it with some pajama bottoms, and slippers. I walk out seeing a girl. I stop. Was that who I think it is??!!!!?!?! I walk over there "What the hell is the Goddess Persephone, doing in the Demeter cabin?" I ask. I couldn't be disrespectful to a Goddess, but if she pisses me off I will be rude.

Turning, the goddess' eyes widened as she pushed her finger to her lips. "Shhhhh, not so loud! I don't want EVERYONE in camp to know I'm here. Then it'll become a big deal." Persephone blinked at her younger sister's attire and smiled. "Would you like me to help you with your hair?" she offered. That's what siblings do, right? Help with hair? It had been a while since she'd visited her siblings in camp, and she was...rather out of it, on what was popular among teens. Brushing some fly-aways from her own forehead, she stood. "I was just...coming to see how my mortal siblings are doing, and to see if you all might need something new to the garden..." she didn't want to admit she was avoiding her mother, who had become hopeless as time came close to her return to the Underworld.

I feel her finger and look up at the sky. The garden wasn't that bad. I take a step back and wipe my face. "Please don't do that." i say. I sit down in the garden. I never spent a lot of time back here. I look over at her and chuckle " Hair?" I ask " I guess." I say. I might as well "Can you make the Garden more colorful. I mean it's always the color yellow/" I say to her.

I get up and walk to the restroom getting a brush. i walk back to her and hand it to her "So how's mom?" I ask "You know i should ask you since I can't see mom who ran out on me... more like us." I tell her.

Persephone chuckled, motioning for her to sit on one of the benches. Once done, the goddess would get to work, running the brush through the demi-goddess' hair. "Hmmm, dedicated, overprotective, and clingy." She offered, carefully taming the teen's hair. "How do girls like their hair done now? I've only ever done mine in a braid or left it alone." she asked, tilting to smile at her. "And yes, I can bring you all more colorful flowers, if mother has a fit, so be it. How do some blue pansies sound? Maybe some red narcissus?" She pondered. "I'll have to bring something over to the kids in Hades cabin as well. I don't know how much my husband does for them, but I don't want them to feel neglected."

I sit in one of the benches and hand her the brush. I chuckle " I just said yes because I was just going to leave it like this and do nothing with it. And I really hate when people do things for me, but I don't want to get on a bad start with you." I tell her. I look at the flowers "Just colorful is fine. I just don't want to use my power and then them hate what I've done with the flowers." I tell Persephone. "Neglected? For what some of them did to the camp. With the whole zombies." I say mad. I almost died. I still remember that night I was saved then left.

"You shouldn't blame all for what the the few have done." she said softly as a comment on what the Hades children did. "I am sure there are plenty who fought WITH you all, and are still loyal to camp, and their father." She began to smooth the brush through her hair carefully, her eyes gentle. "And you should practice your powers. You might surprise yourself. If you don't like it, then come back and try again later. You never know what you're capable of, if you don't try." The goddess soothed gently. She felt bad for a lot of these teenagers, they all... seemed so distant from themselves. It was hard enough being an adolescent, but being a demi-god added a whole bucket of horrible to it these children didn't need.
