Subject: SUMMER SOLSTICE EVENT Sat Jun 15, 2013 11:57 pm
Hey guys! It's been a little while since CHB has seen an official staff coordinated event, and for that we apologize. There's been something of an activity lull.. But no more! We're going to change that, hopefully, with our summer solstice event! The team has worked hard to assemble a festival celebrating the warm summer months--the Sun Festival! Apollo's completely stoked, and we hope you are too! Feel free to participate in some good old mud wrestling in the Cabin Courtyard, or hit up the circus tent pitched high in the center of the battlefield. Perhaps you'd like to look out over the Long Island Sound with that special someone atop the ferris wheel on the beach? Or get in tune with the sights and sounds of the music festival being held in the CHB's ampitheater? Or perhaps you're more interested in going to Olympus, which has opened its doors for the summer solstice to demigods. Of course, there are other things to do around the camp as well, if you just look around.
At any rate, it's sure to be a blast! So get involved with your characters, help pump some life into this site and get excited, because we have a little surprise coming up. The staff all agrees that's simply to die for. Or... is it? -maniacal cackle-
The Sun Festival, and Olympus, will be open from June 16th to June 30th, so get all your rp in! And, as always, if by the end of the event your thread is still going, pm an admin and they will remove it from the graveyard for you so you may continue.
