| for the first time i'm using a spoiler for actual spoilers lol - Spoiler:
1) okay clarisse i actually liked she kept me watching the movie bc i didn't like much else
2) silena was supposed to be the spy and i loved that about her bc she came back and made a hero of herself she better still do this or i will be mad
3) oh hello ethan odd seeing you two books early huh
4) at least i got grover in a wedding dress bc yeah no guinea pig percy
5) percy is going to be 20 now instead of 16 okay yes the ages needed to be changed a lot so at least they still have an age for him to reach??
6) luke is hot hot hot
7) percy is hot hot hot
8) i need beckendorf and the stoll brothers but i don't even remember if they were in the second book or not
9) i liked the movie overall i guess but for a movie titled "sea of monsters" they spent no time in the sea of monsters
10) i'm cheering myself up with the fact that the sea of monsters was my least favorite of all the books anyway
11) i'm ready for nico bring on the nico
12) laughing bc my mom asked me if nectar was demigod alcohol

they say Thalia's name wrong. they got the islands wrong. they got Chiron wrong. they didn't have that one dude! Tyson's attitude is wrong! Percy didn't meet Tyson at camp, they meet at school! AH!!! but, hey. at least Grover wore the wedding dress, they have Mr.D, Anabeths hair is closer to the right color, and Clarisse exists! i really liked it when Kronos ate Luke... that's not suppose to happen, but it was funny... it'll be very interesting to see how they keep going with the books...

1) I also agree that Tyson and Percy met at school with the giants. Tyson didn't come to CHB.
2) Chiron was supposed to be blamed for the poisoning of the tree and Tantalus didn't come.
3) Hermes came to them, not the opposite.
4) Grover was supposed to be originally at the Island with Polyphemus rather then being taken there.
5) If they drank too much nectar their blood would boil and they would die.
6) The giant that Luke, Thalia, and Annabeth had to fight was in a cave not at the entrance of camp.
7) Thalia was like 12 or 13, Luke was like 10, and Annabeth was 7. They weren't all the same ages.
8) There wasn't a big buff satyr that went on the quest with Clarisse.
9) They didn't get eaten up by that person all the way at the bottom of the whirlpool (I forgot who that was).
10) Tyson didn't 'die' from that harpoon thingy. He died from trying to fix the ship's engine.
11) They didn't have Circe and the pirates and Percy turning into the guinea pig.
12) Polyphemus didn't die like that.
13) They didn't have the Sirens.
14) Kronos didn't rise until the 3rd book.
I have more complaints, but I just can't think of them. But anyway I personally didn't think the movie was like the book. I expected something a lot better because people had said they got a new director and it would be more like the movie, but it wasn't. | |

| Having finally watched the movie.. It was ridiculous. That's all I can say. No actually I can say a lot more. - Spoiler:
omg there were like parts of the movie
DIDN'T MAKE SENSE /SHOT
okay. grover was in a dress. oh sure, we don't need to know the reason, i guess he just liked pretending to be a nymph or something.
and the funniest part was that the trio took like so much pains to get to the island
up the rollercoaster and everything
and then luke pops in from nowhere with his entire crew
oh hey there, how was the journey? i got this luxury flight from america, now gimme the fleece.
what the effing heck.
also..
where were the sirens
where was circe
where were the party ponies TT_TT
where were the canadians
where were the amazing carnivorous sheep
where was the evil activities director
what was the minotaur doing there
what was ethan doing there
what was chris doing there
and while i'm at it, how did kronos even ajdhfksjdhf
what part of the movie was actually about monsters or the sea
percy, you do know you've got a sword right? when you're running away and stuff..
and how is riptide the cursed blade? oTL
you're not even supposed to know about the prophecy btw
i honestly suspect annabeth's been possessed by some aphrodite camper
clarisse was so mean, and so ugly with stringy hair and everything. let me just sit down and cry.
oh wait, she cried too. for annabeth. how absolutely mean like clarisse.
and they took shots of nectar. wow. all turned into minor gods, have they?

At some parts in the cinema i actually laughed, not because it was funny, but because it was exceedingly ludicrous. oho 'its a small world..' ............what? i mean just what the hell was that? Don't get me started on the sprayable mist omg its not something you spray like air freshener adfadsfklfj I'm actually okay with movie adaptations, but this movie, this abhorrent film isn't even related to the books I think the best part of the movie is the trailer. It shows the best effects and everything. And Luke has the best lines. But honestly I hope they don't make a third movie because if they ruin Nico's plot I'll just flip the whole cinema. I'm miffed because I read the books and because I love the series so much. So i suppose its only nice if you haven't read the books If you did i suggest you don't watch.

| Umm... Did you read the book? A lot of your questions have the answer in the book. Like, Grover wore a dress because he was pretending to be a lady Cyclopes. Chris was always in the book, every thing was about monsters and the sea. | |
