Mortal Family:
Graham Maverick (father), a horticulturist. His deep rooted love for plants is precisely what caused him to catch Demeter's eye. They fell in love, and prior to Astoria's birth, Demeter told Graham that she was a goddess. To her surprise, he took the news well. He understood when she was forced to leave, and raised their daughter.

Ciara Maverick (stepmother). She met Graham at a flower show. Though he still could never forget Demeter, Ciara quickly captured his heart. Having Demeter's child for a stepdaughter seemed to be a dream for a nature lover, and Ciara loved Astoria as if she were her own. Shortly before Astoria was taken to camp, she had a son, James.

Years in Camp: 4 years

Brief History: With Demeter leaving after Astoria's birth, Graham was left alone to care for a child with ADHD and dyslexia. Despite her disabilities, Astoria thirsted for knowledge, and tried her best to excel in her studies, demigod or not. Her first monster was a Scythian Dracanae, which she narrowly defeated with the help of a satyr in her school. Her father was reluctant to let her go and she stayed home for another year. But with a baby on the way, it was decided that Astoria would need to receive formal training. After which, she was sent to Camp Half-Blood, where Katie Gardner and Miranda Gardiner became close friends.
Astoria finds it difficult to recall her Demeter, though she does remember her kind eyes and motherly demeanour. Like most of her maternal siblings, Astoria is an excellent chef.

Physical Appearance: Astoria is tall, and slender from her daily training and workout at Camp Half-Blood. She has light green eyes, with a thin face. Her hair is fiery red. When she's not smiling, Astoria tends to look stern, which sometimes scares others off.

Personality: Astoria is a very happy, easygoing person, but can get emotional. She gets along with her siblings best, finding that they understand each other most. However, she does not hesitate to lend a helping hand to those who need it, as does not hold back her trust, even to those who do not deserve it.

Fatal Flaw: Astoria's fatal flaw is excessive trust. She believes in people wholeheartedly, which sometimes clouds her from seeing their true colours.

Pets: None.

Talents: Like Demeter's other children, Astoria has control over plants. She has a limited control over animals, but that is mainly a side effect of how she uses her powers to control them. She is a very good cook, and a good fighter. In addition, Astoria is able to identify plants, and whether they are harmful or helpful.

Weapons: A Celestial Bronze sword, a metre in length.

Year-Round or Summer: Usually a year-rounder, but has gone home before to visit her family.

Name: Blake Donovan Nox
Most refer to him as Donovan or Nox, but most don't refer to him at all.

Age/ Birthday: 15/ February 8

Mortal Family:
Henry Nox. Blake doesn't know much about his father. Henry died in an incident with an armed robber when Blake was seven, and saved Blake's life. However, Blake has an old photograph of his parents together, which he always keeps with him. He vaguely recalls his father, of his warm smile and how he loved Blake, but Blake fears that he will forget.

Years In Camp: 4

Brief History: After watching his father's tragic death, Blake went to live with his aunt. By then, he had become a recluse, blaming himself for the incident with the robber. As a result, he did not get along with his family, and his aunt soon got him transferred to the foster care system. She'd sought to do it quietly, but Blake knew she didn't like him, and neither did his cousins.
At eight years, Blake was already giving his social worker a hard time. He never opened up, making it hard for adoption, and he tended to cause problems for his foster parents. Due to his ADHD and dyslexia, not many wanted him. He would also constantly run away, or make trouble for his caretakers, earning himself a bad reputation. He had to stay in boys' homes often, so he had to toughen up to avoid getting bullied. He didn't like to stay at one place for very long, because he knew they didn't really want him. The only person Blake knows has ever loved him was his father.
This went on until Blake was eleven, when a satyr found him, allowing him to leave for good.

Physical Appearance: Blake is not the tallest, but he pulls his weight. He has had to work out to prevent bullies in the boys' homes, and thus has a muscular build. He has dark brown hair and brown/ black eyes that give the perfect wolf stare, that he uses to scare off unwanted company.

Personality: Blake tends to stay alone, choosing to be the background, although he secretly does like being noticed, having been shunned all his life. Blake is hot tempered and slightly cocky, especially about his fighting skills. He is not an easy person to get close to, but if you break away his shell, he can be a valuable asset in battle and a great friend.

Fatal Flaw: Blake has trouble allowing people in his life. He believes that everyone leaves, so prefers not to get attached to people. He likes working alone. It is very difficult to earn his trust.

Pets: None

Talents: Blake is excellent in hand to hand combat. His skill in wrestling rivals that of the Ares Cabin's. He is a proficient sword fighter. However, he dislikes archery, as he likes a more head on approach, as compared to long distance.
As a son of Nyx, Blake has the ability to manipulate shadows to hide himself.
He is able to see in darkness, but there must be at least some light.

Weapons: A three foot sword of Stygian Iron, given to him by Nyx on his 12th birthday. It is kept as a palm sized cross that he hangs on his camp necklace.
