I slip throught the trees, my feet barely making any noise. I come out into an opening and close my eyes, hoping to have some deep realization about learing more about my powers, but ya know being only a three year old that might not happen. I sigh. Utterly dissappointed.

I singed, Me and Likos couldn't sleep, Likos' ears perked and he pulled me along, he ran up to Twyla, I was going to ask her what she doing, then I remeber. I walked over and sat by her. Her eyes made her look some much wiser then a normal three year old.

I turn to see Colby and her wolf, Likos, Protector of Children of Nyx. "Oh," I say, "I-um...probably shouldnt be out this late." I say in a hurry, and look up in to her frienly eyes, wondering if she is going to make me go back to my bunk.

I smiled, "Well, It is late.... but the night is an expection, right?" I said smileing, Likos walked to Twyla and laid down, putting head large head by her and talked in Both our heads, Witch still creeped me out a bit, "Hello Twyla" Likos said pain an Clear. I woundered if she had figured out I was her sister yet?

"I guess," I say, suddenly I hear a voice. I sit up shocked, and look nervously at Colby. Then I look at Likos, "Did he just...talk?!" I ask not even beliving it. "Can he do that to you too?"

I scolded Likos then looked to Twyla, "He can only talk to Nyx and her children" I explained. to the little girl, My greens eyes shone at night.

"Whoa..." I say in awe, of the fact about Likos, that Colby might be my...sister, and her amazing eyes. "So," I begin, my mind working overtime to try to process this all, "Your a daughter of Nyx? Like me?"

I smiled, and nodded, "Yes" I said simpily, "That's why Likos likes you so much" I rung my long black, cury hair around my fingers. then I thought of something, I waved my arms in the night air, and gautherd the night, turned it into a small figure, of a Wolf.

"No way!!" I say, now really in awe. "That means...we're sisters!!!!!!!!!!! This is so cool, there arent many children of Nyx here..." I say all flustered. Then I see what she has made out of night, and it takes my breath away. "Its beautiful," I murmur. "How do you do that?"

I smile big now, "I skill I have been practiceing for 5 years" sat really still, made the wolf perment. then I moved and pulled my shirt up a little over my left side, revaling a long thin scar, "It took alot of time, and mishaps"

I shook my head no, "It doesn't hurt anymore, I was pushing my skills when they were new, and lost contoll, the shadow was a disk and sliced my side, but is melted before it hurt me to much" I thought back to when I got the scar. Then a chill swept by us, It was cool. I made the night air turn into a cloak and wrap around me and Twyla.

"Wow..." I say, "You must be really brave, I want to be able to do things like that." I say longing in my voice. "How did you eventually learn to control it?"

I smiled, It doesn't mean I'm brave, just that I wanted to control my powers, it takes along time, I'm still learning. but I will help you when you get older." I tugged gently on my long black hair.

"Really? You would help me? Oh I have been waitng for so long to learn something new!" I say and lean over and hug her. "I love having a sister," I say quietly, hoping she wont scold me.

I was impressed, I didn't do that, but then again, never tried. I smiled at her, "That's very cool" I said smileing, "I make things out of shadows, and can slid across them, and just learned to Shadow travel" I told her.

I frowned a bit, "Well, kinda but you have to enter shadows, and it makes you very tried.

I snuggle my face into her shirt, my eyelids fluttering, and slowly I drift to sleep. "Thank you," I whisper groggily.
