Bellinda's dress was white and far frillier than she would have picked, but most of this wedding was not her decision, save for the colors. Purple and black. A smirk spread across her face at the thought. Well...the colors and having a male bridesmaid in a black dress. The thought of Will in a black dress made her snicker. But at looking in the mirror, her expression fell. Her stomach was in knots and her heart was beating a thousand miles an hour. She wanted this more than anything, but what if Likos didn't? What if he saw her and didn't want her anymore? Her stomach did a nervous flip, and suddenly she wished she hadn't had that little bit of wine a few moments ago. She'd put him through so much during their time together, and he'd been nothing but wonderful. She treated him as a friend while she cried over her ex, then they'd fooled around so she could have some solace, then they were together and everything was wonderful, then she disappeared and put him through hell, then she lost her memory and fell for Will, and then she regained her memory and started into a downward spiral as she realized everything she'd done, she started to drink, even did drugs, and Likos stood by her through it all. She never expected him to propose. Dump her flat on her ass, yes. But propose? No way. He must be nuts. He was so wonderful, and she was just trash. A hand on her shoulder made her jump.
"Hey...you okay?" one of her bridesmaids Penelope said. Bellinda nodded her head, but Penelope was obviously unconvinced.
"I don't buy it. Spill, what's bothering you?" she demanded, crossing her arms in defiance.
Bell's voice cracked as she tried to speak, and she quickly regained her composure.
"I just don't see why Likos would still want to be with me. He must be missing some vital part of his brain that tells him of danger and insanity," she said.
Bellinda felt a punch on her shoulder and she let out a loud curse.
"Ow! What, in your daddy's name, was THAT for?!" she snapped. Thunder rumbled in the distance and Bell rolled her eyes.
"For being an idiot! I'm sorry, but no one loves you more than Likos does," Penelope said, fixing her hair.
"And I know Likos, I knew him when he was a wolf that could talk to Colby," she added with a signature, Penelope eyebrow quirk and smirk combo.
Bellinda nodded her head and wiped her sweaty palms on her wedding dress. It was then that she heard a knock at the door and she saw a head of golden blonde hair poke into the room.
"AURORA!" Penelope screeched happily. With another happy squeal, the two friends greeted each other. Bellinda smiled and rolled her eyes.
Aurora placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Nervous?" she asked with a soft smile. Bellinda nodded her head. Gods Aurora was nice...
"Don't worry, okay? I was too. But that'll all go away when you see how he looks at you," Aurora replied, thinking fondly of Treston.
Aurora smiled one more time before waving goodbye.
"I'll talk to you after! I should be getting our seats!" And with that, she was out of the door.
Time was ticking closer, and Bellinda just continued to get more and more nervous. She reached for the bottle of wine that she brought, but it got pulled out of her hands by one of the women working there. Bellinda let out a string of curses, which made the woman raise her eyebrows, but she just walked away with the bottle.
"You know that was mine?!" Bell called after her.
