| Subject: some suggestions for stores that I don't know where to ask peoples opinions on. Sat Jan 26, 2013 1:40 pm | |
| So I came up with an idea and wanted to know what people think. This started off as a story idea. Than a shop idea and finally a mix of many different things. I've noticed things along this line had been attempted before at least once. So what would people think of two things.
1. forum spanning weekly article section that would cover things from Character advice to very short stories.
2. A sort of monthly or Bimonthly subscription material much more expansive than idea number one. Also by subscription I mean like 75 Drachma a month to be split among a group of people who would work on said subscription material.
I'm well aware that these ideas wouldn't be easy but I like a challenge. Also I thought of one more thing that is actually a cool idea for a store but wanted to know if this one would be popular.
3. A store where people supply a book or item idea that they need explanations for to make their characters stories go more smoothly.
Please supply your thoughts I think I came up with things that could be cool if they would work.

| This should be in the Suggestion Box xD
Anyway, on to the ideas. 1 and 2 are good ideas (though I'm a bit thrown off by the fact that you'll have to pay drachmas in the latter), but this sounds a lot like the Newspaper staff - a project launched last year which got disbanded in the end because it didn't work out. The same thing might happen again if these were to be implemented.
As for 3... well, it'll be a blessing for those who have writer's block/are lazy lol.

| I like the idea of paying people to write stories and articles just like a real newspaper. There could also be reviews of new forum ideas and etc. You could make a tumblr blog and have a new password each week
I volunteer myself to organize this project (which could be done as a shop or something, which gives the Admins a lot less work to do)
It does seem like it would die out, but if it were something like a shop then it wouldn't be relied on as much, and therefore be less likely to die out completely.
