Callista opened her chocolate eyes, an immense head ache instantly struck her. The girl didn't remember much, but now she was lying in a cot, a sheet covering her sweat - covered body. She tried to prop herself up on her elbows, but even that simple moment made her head spin. "Where am I?" Callie moaned, her head pressed against her flat pillow.

The daughter of Aphrodite moaned to herself, obviously not used to having a head ache. "Is anyone going to help me?" Callie asked, rolling around in her cot. Now that she was awake, she tried to think of where on earth she could be. The demigod couldn't even remember where she was before. The last memory that Callie had was running out of the casino with Brooke. Now, she wondered if anyone know who she was, and would help.

Bree had only just begun her shift in the infirmary. She wasn't a healer in particular but she was good with a first aid kit. Bree was more athletic than anything else. She heard the girl's voice and approached. The daughter of Apollo looked at the girl interestedly. "Hi. I'm Bree. Anything you need?" she asked, feeling rather silly asking the question. She guessed that as a daughter of Apollo, she was supposed to know what was wrong with a glance or something. But Bree had only just arrived at the infirmary and had no idea what had gone on before the girl was brought in.

Callista focused her eyes on the older girl in front of her. She laughed in reply to the girl's question. "Obviously, otherwise why would I be here?" the demigod thought bitterly. Callie smiled none the less, happy that someone was offering to help. "My head hurts,"Callie said simply. "Where are we?" she asked, her face twisting into a frown.

She sighed and looked up at the girl who called herself Bree. Callie didn't know what was going on, but she knew that her head hurt and she couldn't remember anything from the days before. When you're last vivid memory was being chased out of a casino, it wasn't a good sign.

"You're in the camp infirmary. Is the pain like someone hit you on the head or is it like a headache kind of pain? Or both?" Bree asked. The dirty blonde stood up and found some painkillers and an empty ice pack ready to be filled should she need it. "Do you have any allergies you can think of?"

Bree filled a glass with drinkable water and took it over to her. She figured she might want it.

Callista sighed and thought for a moment. "I think something hit me..." she muttered, rubbing her head, where a large goose egg had formed. "Do I have a bump on my head?!" she asked, rather loudly. Callie hated having visible marks on her face, especially bumps. She barely could understand what Bree was saying, but shook her head. "No, just bee stings," the demigod replied softly.

Bree nodded and fetched the painkillers and filled the ice pack on her way back to the girl. "The swelling should go down in a bit. I'll fetch some ambrosia for you in a moment. Use the painkiller if you feel you should. Excuse me for a moment," she said and disappeared for a moment, repappearing the next. She handed the girl a square of ambrosia. "You should be fine in an hour or two. Up and about an hour after that, too."

Callista placed the ice pack on her bump, jumping at the chill that she got from it's touch. She left the painkillers on the table, beside the water that Bree had given her. The girl was going to lean back in her cot when she caught a word that Bree said. Ambrosia? "Ambrosia?" Callie repeated, confusion showing on her face. "Is that some type of medicine?" she asked.

Seeing Bree return, the girl hoped for an answer. She nodded at the girl's instructions and timeline for what was supposed to happen. "Wait! Where am I?" Callie asked, concerned. "Is this the hospital at the casino?"

And now, Bree was just as confused as the girl. "Ambrosia is medicine, yes. It's the medicine of the... Wait- casino? You're too young to be gambling. Plus, I'm pretty sure casinos don't have hospitals. I'm only seventeen, anyhow. Uh... Can you tell me your name, age and if the name Camp Half-Blood rings any bells?"

Bree was freaking out. Amnesia wasn't something she'd ever dealt with before.

Callista giggled and shook her head. "No, I wasn't gambling, my family was staying there for a while, but then they left, I amused they forgot me," she explained, propping herself up with pillows. "I'm Callista Eira Mint, I'm 14, and what's Camp Half Blood?" the demigod asked, raising an eyebrow. She didn't know what kind of Camp name that was, but it sounded very odd.

"Am I in Camp Half Blood?" Callie asked, guessing the answer was yes. Otherwise Bree wouldn't have asked her. "Should I be here?"

Bree scrutinized the girl. Maybe this was her first time in Camp? Possibly. "I'd say... Yes. Yes, you are meant to be here. Uh..." Bree said. She tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear and frowned. "Can you... tell me about your life? What can you remember?"

Callista noticed the way that Bree was acting, and wondered if she had said something wrong. It seemed like neither of them had excepted to be in this sort of situation. Callie nodded at Bree, and wondered where to begin in her lifetime. "Well, I live with my Aunt Linda, and her cat, Donovan." the demigod explained, smiling softly. "She lives in Nevada... are we near there?" Callie asked, wondering how far Brooke and her had traveled. It didn't seem like very far, but she couldn't be so sure.

Coming back to her previous thoughts, Callie thought about how in detail Bree wanted her to talk. Probably not very much, was her final decision. "I grew up fine, I guess, nothing too dramatic, until Aunt Linda took me to the casino." she said, her voice getting softer. Did her Aunt want to get rid of her? Callie couldn't be so sure. "Linda told me it was for a family thing, and she took me to the arcade part, but never came back with the tickets," Callie said, frowning slightly. "A nice guy came over and said everything was free, so I started playing, and met this girl named Brooke. She had been here for a few more hours than I had, and knew all the good games," the demigod explained. "We decided to leave after a while, because we didn't know where our families went. People chased us as we left... I don't remember much beyond that,"
