CHARACTERS if you don't want to lose them, but they're already gone
This is where I will put the characters that I have killed off but have no place to keep in this topic. You see, I don't have an inactive or dead slot in my character topic for clutter purposes. My characters will go in some posts in this topic. It's neater this way, and this topic will just keep dying, probably randomly popping up at the top of the list. Ignore it, or reminisce if you know a character in this topic. Some of these characters are just inactive, some have been brought back to life occasionally, but I will not edit them out because I change my mind all the time.
**I'm going to use this for me because I'm selfish. (and zan can post here because she asked)
**It's three characters per post for easy access to revival possibilities.

hale:
my hale
Hale Drem son of apollo
Basics
Full Name: Hale Joseph Drem
Nickname/s: None.
Age: 17
Date of Birth: December 19
Gender: Male
Family
God Parent: Apollo
Mortal Family: Hale's mother's name was Hailey Drem. She died giving birth to Hale's half sister, and was able to escape Hera's attack. She was able to attract three gods, Zeus, Apollo, and Hephaestus. Before being a mother, Hailey had dreams of being a lawyer, but those dreams were crushed upon giving birth to the oldest Drem, Hale. After several weeks with her son, the lawyer dream became a mere past desire--nothing more. Her children were important, and Hailey could only ask for more time with them. Toni followed, then Tyson, and lastly Melissa, the mortal child. Hale never met her, and he probably never will. Hale's oldest little sister's name is Toni. Toni arrived at camp, but no one is sure of her whereabouts now. Her god parent is Hephaestus. Before her odd disappearance, Toni hadn't been one of Hale's favorite people. He didn't remember her after being hurt, and her sudden appearance angered him to say the least. Hale's little brother's name was Tyson. Tyson was killed by Hera, in a very long back story. He is now dead, and Hale misses him terribly. Tyson and Hale were best friends until the accident, mostly because Hale looked up to his younger brother. He was a child of Zeus, for gods' sake! Tyson wouldn't have been a very powerful Zeusie, but he probably would have made a fine leader, had he been given the opportunity to grow up. Hale's littlest half sister, who's name he doesn't know, lives wit her father, and Hale has never met her. She lives with her father, Darren, the man Hailey planned on marrying. Darren and Toni are extremely similar. Still, upon hearing his mother had found actual love with someone other than Apollo, Hale became extremely angry and declared his hatred for the man and their child right then and there.

History
Absentmindedly, Hale scratched the dirt off of his knee. The only thing that surrounded him was dust. After Hera's attack, the boy had been left with only a pair of ripped jeans and a mother to call his own. His brother was dead. His sister had been erased from his memory. His home had been destroyed. Feeling a sharp pang of anger, Hale picked up a crumpled brick and flung it into the distance. "Mom! Mom, where are you? Do you not see what happened here?" Hale's eyes were watering, and he was fighting back real tears. Tyson was dead. Some lady had just destroyed his life. And she would get away with it. "That lady just tried to kill you! I . . . I bent light or something! Mom, I need some answers!" Hale was angry, but mostly he just wanted a hug from his mom. As the dust cleared, Hale could clearly spot his mother. She was crying, but the second she made contact with her son, she seemed happy again. "Hale!" she cooed, pulling the demigod into a tight hug. "Hale, there's something I need to tell you. It's about your father." Hale stepped back from his mom wearily, looking over her carefully. "What about my dad? He's dead. You said he was killed in a fire. What have you been keeping from me?" Though he was filled with a more intense burst of rage, the son of Apollo did his best to unbiasedly listen to what Hailey Drem had to say. "You're dad . . . He's a god. Apollo. And you can't stay here anymore. They'll find you. But don't worry! There's a place for precious angels like you. It's called Camp Half Blood. Can you go there more me? For your mom?" Hailey talked a mile a minute, but Hale still understood. He nodded, but he wasn't quite sure what he was agreeing to. His dad was a god? What on earth had the Drems been having to suffer through? What was going on?
Hale was born in San Fransisco, but his mom moved him immediately. Hale had no problem with this and found it completely normal that a single mother would want to move away from her past and start anew. The true reason for his moving was for protection, though. Hailey was well aware of the fact that Hades's throne room resided right bellow their home. (Though it stretched across several others.) Staying in San Francisco would have been like asking for some monsters to gobble Hale up.
When his sister, Toni, was born he rejoiced, glad there was another member of his family. Toni was soon joined by Tyson, and Hale saw that his family complete. The only problem was, all three children were demigods. Tyson was even a son of Zeus, which was incredibly outrageous. Somehow, Hailey had attracted the attention of all three gods--Apollo, Hephaestus, and Zeus--and her children had turned out to be spitting images of both of their parents. For the longest time they aged well, but then Hera found out about Zeus, Apollo, and Hephaestus.
Still, prior to the wrath of Hera, Hale lived an above average life at school. Because he lived in a Californian town, Hale fit in nicely. If you were the god Apollo, you would probably move to California if forced out of Olympus. It's full of surfers and blondes. Tan is in, which is another plus for Apollo and his children, and no one would suspect anything if you were a little obsessed with the sun. In class, Hale was a popular kid. His blond hair and darling brown eyes caused his little classmates to swoon over him, and for a 5th grader, he was mature. That maturity was lost after Hera attacked and the Apollo boy lost some of his calm personality and loving memory.
Hera was angry, angry at Hailey, and hit her where it hurts; her children. Hale and Toni teamed up when protecting the house from Hera, but Tyson was too young to survive a blow from a goddess. He died and Hale was hit on the head with a piece of roof. What did he forget? That he had a sister who he loved, and that his mom knew about mythology. Other than that, the Hera incident only took him to camp. He was dragged away by a satyr and taken to Camp Half-Blood's safety. He tried to run away a few times, but he did end up in camp eventually, after a delayed trip.
At camp he met Leo, a son of Poseidon, and that boosted up his spirits. He had gained a friend without even trying, which wasn't something that came very naturally to Hale. Soon he befriended some of his siblings, first Alex, then Katie, then Seth, and then just about everyone else, but then he started hanging out with others. He met Roxanne Michaels, who went on to nominate him for Apollo Cabin Leader. Shortly, he became Cabin Leader, and befriended the other Cabin Leaders, with the exception of Cody Perennial. They got of to a rough start, both yelling at each other, then each of them leaving. Luckily, at the next meeting, tragedy brought them together. The war changed them, and soon Hale and Cody were on an acquaintance basis (they're still working on "friendship").
When Zan/Roxanne and Gen died, Hale went into an emotional frenzy. He thought about suicide before Zan's cousin Julia got in the way. Hale was back on track, and handled finding out that Taylor was Zan with flying colors. He didn't take that his mother died so well though, Alex Dashwood or Toni Drem could tell you that!
As the months passed, Hale started to get weak. He had Apollo's blessing after dying in a battle, and he could never pass up an opportunity to help someone in need. With this stress always on him, the boy seemed to age 10 years in 10 weeks. He hardly appeared to be the same happy-go-lucky person he was. That was before Anne, though, Anne Berkenhousen and Hale started dating, which gave Hale new hope. Maybe the curse wasn't so bad, after all. Maybe he could find love, if he looked hard enough within himself. Like Hale always says, "If there's a light, there's a way!"
Of course, like all good things that happen to Hale, Anne somehow managed to die. Alex was gone. Katie was gone. Zan had come back, only to leave again. Will had found himself a girlfriend and appeared to be suffering through troubles of his own. Anne was gone. The cabin leaders were distancing themselves, and Hale felt more alone then ever. All he had to call his companions were Truckee, Hale's dog, and his new roommate.
Truckee died, and Hale lost it. He became a murder of sorts, killing with such preciseness that he wasn't caught. Of course, this was just the depression talking, the shear horrific depression that had overwhelmed him. He nearly killed Anne, who had returned to camp, and that pushed him over the edge. Hale was too fragile to take the pressure, so instead of risking killing anyone else at camp, he took his own life. H was trying to help the rest of his camp, but all he really did was regret his actions. In the underworld, he was sentenced to the field of punishment. He wasn't beaten. He was tortured. He was forced to age at an increased rate. Just a summer of his torture brought Hale's age up 4 years. He was no longer 13, and he was no longer a kid. He grew into his personality. He wasn't the shrimp that everyone could pick on, and having all the time in the world, Hale focused on training his body. He centered his strength, focused his skill, and being 17, Hale could develop real muscle.
The son of Apollo managed to escape his cell of sorts, a room made of mirrors, and went for the River Styx. He wasn't any less intelligent. Hale had always been perceptive, and this stuck with him. Before any ghosts could reach him, he bathed in the river, making his Achilles Heal a splotch of his upper right forearm. It was last minute thinking, but he managed, and when he was pulled out of the river, he was met by an angry messenger of Hades delivering the news of his release. Bathing in the river saved him on any more life in the Underworld. He couldn't be kept with the invincibility that he had gained.
So Hale was released, this time promising to himself that he wouldn't go off the deep end. He was living his life for himself. Other people were luxuries, not obstacles. Drem was going to do it right this time,
Looks
Hale has light, golden blond hair. It's cut short, and cropped, which isn't very unusual for a boy of Hale's age. His hair occasionally grows long and shaggy, and he doesn't get around to getting it cut a lot, since he tends to focus more on his duties as a demigod before he worries about properly grooming himself. When it is long, you will find he has trouble consternating and is often antsy, but when it's cut short he is often calm and peppy. This isn't because of the hair itself, but when he's not in the mood to get his haircut, that same mood will cause him to go into a miniature depression.
His eyes are brown, which are the color of his mom's eyes. No one is quite sure why he got his mom's eye color instead of his dad's, since the god's genes normally overpower the mortals, but he did. Hale believes it is because his mom is strong, and meant to help do great things. Upon looking into Hale's eyes, you will think you've just met an angel. He's an adorable boy, really, and he has the puppy dog eyes to prove it. If Hale doesn't get what he needs, he has a secret weapon.
His skin is tan, but only when he's in the sun, otherwise it's pale. It is very similar to the Apollo cabin, which turns golden when hit by sunlight. He almost always has a smile on his face, which lights up the room, and his eyebrows are arched. The boy is only 5'7", but he's working his way to 5'8", maybe even 5'10". He kind of has a weaselly, surfer look to him, and his aura is calm and sturdy. When he's sad, Hale doesn't cry, but rather looks like he's been stunned silent. His eyes often wander, his mouth forms a tight, straight line, and his skin looses life-likeness.
His Camp Half-Blood shirt is tight to his chest, which makes him look stronger than he really his. He only wears Nike running shoes, and black gym shorts. He has a yin-yang sun necklace and a backpack which he wears often, but not always. The rest of the time, it's either laying on his bed, on his floor, or in his hand as a bow. Never does Hale wish to not wear his orange camp shirt, for fear that he will no longer be considered a camper, and might no longer be claimed by his true home.
Personalities
Hale is loyal and cocky. He will fight to the end for friends, siblings, or just people in need. The cocky part comes when he makes a shot with his bow and arrows. If he simply hits someone's foot with an arrow, he'll get so cocky he'll let his guard down, and possibly even get lazy. He feels like everyone has his back, and if he doesn't have the energy to be alert, than he is extremely willing to let someone else watch out for him. (Like he will ever not have energy. Pfft.)
Still, he can be brave and powerful if he tries. He has leadership in him, even if it is often under the surface, deeply hidden inside of him. Once he became Cabin Leader, he found out just what lied under the surface. He was a natural leader, and he was brave enough to take on the job. He doesn't always feel strongly about himself, especially after his brother's death, but when others around him show Hale just how much he's doing for them, his spirits will be lifted. It doesn't take much to make Hale happy, and a simple smile or a pat on the back often does the trick.
He is claustrophobic, and hates to be inside, which has something to do with his dad being Apollo. He feels best when he's outside in the sunlight. He hates the dark, and only feels safe with light, but it's okay because he can control light. This can also be traced back to his dad. He often reminds himself that is dad is Apollo for comfort, because Hale feels Apollo is the greatest god, and one that would never back down. When he's in the dark, Hale's always afraid of what might be lurking just ahead, and he has issues when coping with his fears. He doesn't know how to handle many of his own problems, though he often solves others problems very well. He never has a good understanding of himself, and his lack of knowledge leads him to view himself as a stranger.
Hale can seem to have split personalities. While he's normally a very upbeat and brave person, he can, on occasion, be ruthless and filled with anger. It is hard to set off Hale but he doesn't separate his feelings amongst different people. If one person makes him a little mad, and another person makes him a little mad, the unlucky third person could get yelled at for someone else's actions. While most people view this as uncharacteristic for Hale, he can throw tantrums and complain, because he is, after all, a child. That's something people often forget about Hale. He's a kid.
After living in the underworld, Hale developed a serious side. He became more focused and more sincere. He matured, but inside he's selfconcious and scared. He doesn't want to mess up again. He doesn't want to let anyone down. He wants to stay tough, because he's almost an adult now, and he wasn't serious enough. He got too old too fast, but he'd trying. He wants to please the people around him. He developed a hatred of mistakes after dying. It changed him.
Fatal Flaw: Hale has a hard time dealing with pressure. This ultimately will kill him.
Skills
Demigod Abilities: ~**Hale can use his bow for trick shooting, and he can control light. Those are his two Apollo powers. He can't heal very well, but he simply tells himself it's because he's young. He has always been determined to learn, and he spends a lot of time in the infirmary, looking at his siblings healing examples.** ~He isn't very good when close-combat fighting, since he can't use a sword, but is good at sharp shooting. Hale is a master with his bow, and hits even the smallest of targets. ~He can take more ambrosia and nectar then most demigods, which he considers a talent, but still can't take in very much. Everyone knows you explode when you take in too much. ~Something most people don't know about Hale is that he is a good snowboarder. He loves the snow and his old home used to be in the mountains where there was year round snow. He shreds like professionals, and doesn't wait for anyone on the slopes.
Weapons: His bow and arrows are all he needs. His bow turns into a backpack, and his arrows turn into an iPod.
Other
Hale has a doggie named Truckee, who is a male black lab. The dog brings Hale joy when he's down and lights up almost everyone's day with his spunky personality.

History
Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry. You don't know how lovely you are. I had to find you, tell you I need you, tell you I set you apart. Tell me your secrets, and ask me your questions. Oh, let's go back to the start. Running in circles, coming in tails. Heads on a science apart. Nobody said it was easy! It's such a shame for us to part. Nobody said it was easy. No one ever said it would be this hard... Oh, take me back to the start. I was just guessing at numbers and figures; pulling the puzzles apart. Questions of science, science and progress do not speak as loud as my heart. And tell me you love me, come back and haunt me. Oh, and I rush to the start. Running in circles, chasing our tails. Coming back as we are. Nobody said it was easy. Oh, it's such a shame for us to part. Nobody said it was easy. No one ever said it would be so hard! I'm going back to the start.
Tiffany was born just 9 months after her brother, Damian. It had seemed unlikely, but completely possible at the time. No one had questioned the brother and sister being so close in age. 9 months was uncommon and strange, but scienticifcly accepted. Tiffany and Damian were often treated as twins, despite Damian having dark brown hair, and Tiffany being a blonde. They didn't look very similar, but they behaved like almost exact carbon copies of each other. In the two years before Rose was born, Tiff and Dam both received their nicknames, they were quite, and showed signs of being both active and intelligent. They eventually did grow apart, though, as the birth of Rose brought a extremely rough side of Damian and the nurturing side of Tiffany. The older siblings were both two at the time, and with the new child came another brunette. Rose showed signs of being more like her sister, expressive but considerate and polite. If anyone stood out in the family, it was Damian, not their half sister Tiffany.
8 eventful years passed before two new editions to the family came along. In the years leading up to the twins' birth, Tiffany discovered dance. Never had she felt more at peace than the moment she felt herself move on the tarp that had been stretched across the dance floor. The blonde had been only six at the time, but she stuck with the hobby until it became her life. At age eight, she started dancing competitively, and at age ten she was put on senior company, which was a huge honor, especially for a ten year old. This happened to be the year her littlest siblings were born, and the year Rose took up dance, and the year her brother tried out for a specialized football training program. It was all expensive and drew away from the importance of each accomplishment. Tiffany didn't mind, but she knew her brother did, and she constantly tried comforting him. It hurt to see him upset. He was gaining strength and no one else seemed to notice. His skill had doubled in just a few months, and the only one who cared was his quiet, pretty, sincere, dancing, soft spoken, sister. She hasn't come out of her shell. That came when she was eleven.
Damian was always being made fun of at school for his bruises and wobbly legs. He was always getting hit and forced to push himself too far at practice. Tiffany preferred to stay out o the way, usually, but it wasn't in her nature, so when she had had enough, she had had enough. She got into a fist fight with some boys who had been making fun of her brother for the bruise on his hip. (They had seen it when he reached up to grab something from a shelf.) Tiffany had been suspended, and the second she came back to school, she seemed changed. No one messed with Damian. Middle school was going to be Tiffany's chance to become the person she really was. Opinionated, loud, fun, but genuine and filled with attitude and loyalty. She didn't have many friends, because a lot of people were afraid of approaching her, but with her dancing career so extensive and strenuous on her time, she didn't really have time for friends. She talked to anyone who listened, but after a while, she did quiet down. She was too rattled emotionally to continue to have fun.
Life at home was hard. Her father and mother argued too much. Jake and Gywneth were both attention seekers but were ignored by everyone but Tiffany. Rose struggled to keep up in dance class, and Damian was that boy that picked fights for the sake of picking fights. The only blonde in the family was the levelheaded one. (She was the one with the godly gene, after all.) It was too hard to balance everything, though. Her motherly instincts kept urging her to help everyone, and so, one day, she completely shut down. She had enough, and stopped responding to anything. This time had been known by the Powell's as the "Dark Months." Tiffany uttered maybe a total of seven words, and she didn't try and help anyone but herself. During this time, her parents also came clean about her father having cheated on her supposed mother with another woman; Tiffany's birth mom. This sent the girl into an emotional coma. She had trouble not ending her life during the weeks that followed. The only things keeping her alive were Damian and Rose, who knew about their sister's suicidal thoughts and understood them.
In the Dark Months, Tiffany had a lot of time to study and learn by herself, so she did advance a few years in all other subjects by the time she returned mostly to normal, which shocked everyone. She was ahead in her school work, and dominating her dyslexia. Her ADHD was awful, as it had always been, but she was making huge leaps in her academic career. Her dancing, if anything, came out stronger and much more passionate. Tiffany had managed to hit rock bottom, which had in turn gave her the strength she needed to come out on top. There was no light without a little dark. She had even gotten a tattoo with her brother. Damian had done it in order to surprise her for her 14th birthday. Tiffany's said "light" and Damian's said "strength." "There will always be darkness and depression, Tiff. The key to conquering it is keeping it just close enough to hurt, but not enough to burn." The small action had changed Tiffany. She simply couldn't believe how considerate her older halfbrother could be when he wanted to. He hadn't changed his opinion of her upon finding out that she had the product of an affair. That's what had meant the most to her.
Rose hadn't let her support waver either. She had helped Damian coax her sister out of preferring to be dead, the two girls share a half of a charm that, if complete, would read "Never say Never." The small gift meant a lot to Tiffany, who had never before had someone to share sentimental things with. Tiffany had never resulted to cutting, because of the two people who cared the most to about her. Rose even improved dancing so that she could make the completion team and do a duet with her sister. She was put on junior, two steps down from senior, where she was content to be. Tiffany had plenty of friends, but none of them meant as much to her as her brother a sister. The twins were still too young to care much about anything that happened around them.
No one really minded Tiffany being shipped off to camp, though. But Tiffany would never know that.
Looks Tiffany has blonde hair, naturally highlighted with brown and what looks often like white. It's natural pretty straight, but it can also be dry, so she struggles to be content with her hair. Tiffany's eyes are very blue. Her skin is pretty pale, but she has muscle built up in her legs from dance. {wip}
Personalities Tiffany is not usually quiet, but when she's tired or upset, you won't hear her try to act happy. She's opinionated and always looking to crack jokes, but her true talent is how she can express her emotions fluidly. She's a very loyal person, but isn't the most trustworthy, as she will not always make or keep promises. She tries, but Tiffany acts on impulse and is quick to make decisions. She doesn't always think, she just does. When she does think, she can be smart, but not above and beyond any expectation. Just smart. Fatal Flaw: Tiffany doesn't always think. She just does.
Skills Demigod Abilities: Tiffany is a breathtaking and fluid dancer. She isn't strong, she's not extremely smart, and she's fast, but other than that, Tiffany isn't skilled by demigod standards. Weapons: Tiffany has a celestial bronze sword named "Pivot" because she discovered that she can change direction with it easily. It turns into an ankle brace for her pointe shoes.
Other: She wants a gray kitten. She's {wip} but I'm too eager to use her.
addie:
Adelaide Jenner [daughter of aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty.]
Naming Full Name: Adelaide {Anastasia} Scarlette Jenner Nickname/s: Adelaide was originally named Anastasia, but Carter got confused and through her childhood and called her both of the two names. Addie always preferred Adelaide to Anastasia because Carter eventually remembered and dropped the Adelaide act. Still, Anastasia is her real identification—her real tie to home—even if she wishes she could start over. Basics Age: 15 Date of Birth: October 1 Gender: Female Family God Parent: Aphrodite Mortal Family:
"I hate him. I love him."
Carter Jenner was Adelaide's father, but there was never a time where she was grateful of this. He was an abusive man, and he was conniving. He managed to convince anyone who asked that Adelaide was never in any harm, and that he only touched her to hug her. Aphrodite, being a flirtatious goddess, found the violent side of Carter enticing, but it turned to be a horrific trait throughout raising Adelaide. Carter had anger issues, but also knew when to keep it collected. This is what always scared Addie the most. He was oblivious and aware of what he was doing to his daughter at the same time, and Adelaide was weak. At time, she even convinced herself to love him. Claimed: Yes Camp Information Years in Camp: 3 Claiming History: Aphrodite waited for Adelaide to start moving around camp, and off of her bed in the Hermes cabin, to claim her daughter. This happened a little under a month of Addie being at camp, and it was during one of the girl's rock wall climbs. (she found the sport a healthy escape.) Year-Round or Summer: Year Round History
I guess you really did it this time. Left yourself in your warpath. Lost your balance on a tightrope. Lost your mind tryin' to get it back. Wasn't it easier in your lunchbox days? Always a bigger bed to crawl into. Wasn't it beautiful when you believed in everything and everybody believed in you? It's alright, just wait and see. Your string of lights is still bright to me. Oh, who you are is not where you've been. You're still an innocent, You're still an innocent. Did some things you can't speak of, but at night you live it all again. You wouldn't be shattered on the floor now if only you would seen what you know now then. Wasn't it easier in your firefly-catchin' days? When everything out of reach, someone bigger brought down to you. Wasn't it beautiful runnin' wild 'til you fell asleep, before the monsters caught up to you? It's alright, just wait and see. Your string of lights is still bright to me. Oh, who you are is not where you've been. You're still an innocent. It's okay, life is a tough crowd. 32, and still growin' up now. Who you are is not what you did. You're still an innocent. Time turns flames to embers. You'll have new Septembers. Every one of us has messed up too. Lives change like the weather. I hope you remember today is never too late to be brand new. It's alright, just wait and see. Your string of lights is still bright to me. Oh, who you are is not where you've been. You're still an innocent. It's okay, life is a tough crowd. 32, and still growin' up now.mWho you are is not what you did. You're still an innocent. You're still an innocent. Lost your balance on a tightrope. It's never too late to get it back.
Addie was born on a humid October night in Seattle, Washington. Her father, Carter, wasn't aware of her existence until Aphrodite dropped the little surprise on his Apartment doorstep. He didn't overreact then. He used to be good at keeping a level head. But he was always sneaking around, both in business and with girls. Carter worked as a bartender in a hotel's bar, though he wished to work his way up the economic ladder. A nice manager title was always the only thing to settle for. He dropped Adelaide off at random babysitters, constantly forgetting who he used and setting her up with new faces every other day. This was the start of Carter's madness. He was flustered by work and forgot things. He was never mad, just distracted. The anger came when he was fired. Carter was caught drinking some of the alcohol and getting drunk on the job, and since this was not only inappropriate drinking, but also stealing, his seniors didn't hesitate to cut Carter from the staff. Addie was 4 years old at the time. The night Carter was fired was the first night Anastasia became Adelaide, and the first night her father hit her. She didn't cry. Even at age four the demigod had a hidden strength, she just didn't see it. She didn't even fear Carter for the first few months. Her youthful ignorance kept her from seeing the issue. When it started to hurt, Addie took notice. She was going to school, age seven, but hid her bruises and injuries well. The teachers saw her as frail. Her classmates saw her as frail. Adelaide saw herself as frail, and soon she decided the act wasn't an act. Her father was inflicting real pain onto the girl, but he told her it wasn't going to hurt. She didn't understand the concept of lying, and convinced herself that she was a weak little girl. She never strived for anything more, despite how much she wanted to be better. For her father, she wanted to be better. Adelaide aged a little bit and began to open her eyes to what her father was doing to her. She was extremely antisocial at school, but only because she didn't want anyone to find out about her life out of school. In school she didn't behave like a girl whose father hit her. She blended in, acted completely normal. She never exactly knew what her real personality was like, until coming to camp, but in order to go to camp Addie had to know the truth, and Carter withheld this information from her. So, she set her sights on keeping quiet. People in her classes began to suspect things were wrong with Addie when she entered 7th grade. She began smiling more often, and lost interest in keeping herself away from everyone. Upon taking this step, her peers took note in the gaps of Addie's stories, like how she was extremely graceful, never clumsy, and how she has more of an attitude than she had ever let on. One does not simply change everything about themselves overnight. When they asked how she got several new injuries overnight, Adelaided panicked and stayed at home for a week. This only resulted in more beatings from Carter, who had gotten harsher with the 13 year old. Eventually he just left the house. For several days, Carter left Adelaide to her own devices, and out of 4 weekdays, Addie chose to attend school once. People asked too many questions. She appriciated their concern, and it gave her a small confidence boost, but she was unfamiliar with the ability to lie convincingly to someone she had grown to care about. She knew that something would slip her up, and Carter would find out, and he would be disappointed in his daughter. Adelaide was always strange in that respect. She wasn't worried about Carter hitting her, but instead afraid that her daddy would be upset with her. Carter was indeed upset when he found out Adelaide had been lying to him about small things, and threatened with daughter with her life when he returned from his get-away. Something in Addie awakened that night. She was no longer blinded by her impossible love for Carter, and ran away. She wasn't afraid, she was angry, and she was done. One of the concerned boys in her classes found Addie wandering the back alleys of Seattle and worked his Hades child magic. The two shadows travelers to Camp Half Blood, and the undercover demigod explained Addie's situation. She didn't believe him. She didn't believe anyone, until the satyrs greeted her, and she fainted that night. It wasn't just shock, it was exhaustion, and the idea of a safe haven. Could those exist? For two years, Addie decided that they must. She found a home in the Aphrodite cabin, though she didn't speak to many people like her siblings did. According to the welcoming satyrs, everyone at camp had a dark past, but that didn't mean Addie had to reveal hers. By hiding her personal story, the daughter of Aphrodite decided she was guarding herself, and allowing herself to feel safe. No one bothered to ask why Addie always had a shaken appearance, and only once did Adelaide wish they would have. Like in school, she wanted to come out of her protective shell. The demigod just doesn't know how. Looks Addie has basic blonde Aphrodite hair, but it is streaked with light brown highlights. Her hair is thick and wavy, which makes it appear to flow down her back. She has longer than average hair, as it reaches her rib cage, but she doesn't do her hair. Adelaide never learned. Instead she lets it tangle in the wind, and frizz in the humidity, and sit in a ponytail when it's hot. This bothers her siblings, but Addie knows it as typical. She never had to impress anyone, and things were simpler when she was with Carter. Now people judge her, and the only time Addie's hair has ever looked "pretty" was after her claiming. Aphrodite's claim curled it, but Addie couldn't stand the elegance of her styled locks. She has always preferred her hair to stay out of her way, and that doesn't happen when a goddess coats it in permahairspray. Addie's eyes are a dull shade of meadow green. Depending on the amount of light in a room, her irises might appear to be grey, but they are green. The color isn't particularly stunning, but it is very different, and tingling with energy. Her large eyes are the Aphrodite trait that draws people to Addie, and her long eyelashes enhance her eye shape. They are teardrop shaped, and her light brown eyebrows curve around the top of her eye, dropping with a small arch, then continuing down her forehead. Addie's eyebrows are very long, but skinny and arched. When her face is relaxed, she looks curios, or concerned. Adelaide has a small frame and almost none existing shoulders. Her legs are long, but small, as is the rest of her body. Addie is small and fragile looking, but she has budding muscle after training around camp for two full years. She is becoming more full, but her curves seem to be almost an awkward fit to the child of Aphrodite's figure. She is pretty, but not in the way most people see pretty. Addie has a nicely rounded and soft face, but it isn't long like the rest of her. Her chin juts out slightly in a prideful position. Her lips are full, but her nose is also slighty too big for her face. Adelaide's cheeks are rosy and her cheekbones are large, but not angular. They are like circles. A few freckles are sprinkled around her face, but they don't quite stand out against her tan skin. In feet, Adelaide is 5'4", which can be considered average, or may seem very short, depending on who you ask. She weighs roughly 115 lbs because of her awkward mix of slim limbs and muscle, but you will never see her complain about her appearance. After being claimed by Aphrodite, the girl took a little more pride in her subtle beauty. Of her mom was the goddess of beauty, surely there was beauty somewhere inside her. Carter must have just not seen it. Adelaide likes to wear dresses, but she doesn't own very many, so most of the time she dresses in flowy, loose fitting shirts. Shorts are more comfortable than anything else, so Addie likes to abuse them. (bad analogy when speaking about our particular character, I suppose. xD) Even in the winter, the daughter of Aphrodite will put on a sweatshirt with jean shorts, just so long as she's comfortable with how she looks. Addie doesn't care about accessories or "human decoration" as she calls them. As long as she's clothed, Adelaide is fine, but she does have a strong fashion sense. She looks comfy, but never unfashionable, and some days she believes her outfits look cute. Others, the teenager knows she's trying to hide herself behind a wall of clothing, or anything else outwardly. Personalities Adelaide has low self esteem, but a fire burns in her soul. She's fierce and quick to snap, but while she has been known to be harsh, she isn't cruel. Addie has always had a pretty good idea of what is too far. Before she was beat into darkness, Adelaide was blissfully ignorant, but her suffering brought forth a knack for street smarts. She strives for selflessness, but her anchors of rage and hurt hold her back. Addie would rather kill than be killed, which many look down upon. It would take someone Addie views as trustworthy, someone she would be willing to talk about her dad with, to be an exception to this mindset. As you can imagine, Addie lives with quite a few regrets, and she understands that her innocent was stripped away long ago. Addie has never had a clear mind, and she doesn't think through things logically very often. This is something of an Aphrodite trait, but it is also much like impulsiveness. Strike that. Addie is extremely impulsive and trusts her gut instinct over her brain. She isn't stupid, but it wasn't like she ever focused in school. There were other things on her mind. Her possibility for growing academically is large, and she has made progress since coming to camp, but Carter had already set her up for a life of being one step behind. Talk to Adelaide in a normal conversation and you won't be able to tell that she hasn't learned much but survival instincts. She's grown good at hiding it. In fact, she's grown good at hiding a lot of things. Addie can keep anyone's secrets, but if you want the safety she might provide you with, you'll have to put up with her tendency to judge. She doesn't mock someone when they give her their trust unless egged on though, but it's pretty easy to see her opinions right through her thin mask. That is if she doesn't want them hidden. She is a human bundle of surprises ready—but completely unwilling—to be opened. Addie consists of several thick layers, and there's almost no chance that someone will be able to peel all of them off. She's stubborn unless threatened. Addie's biggest weakness is poor opinion of herself. (this isn't her fatal flaw, just one of her hardest hitting negatives.) If someone says something bad about her, she's likely to agree, while she'd be more influenced to fight if you speak poorly of someone else. Addie isn't like her siblings in this respect. She likes to stick up for others, because she's constantly wishing there had been someone to stick up for her. The daughter of Aphrodite is good at blending in, because no one expects her to have so many sides to her apparently simple story. All anyone knows about her is that she does indeed still had a father at home. People see her as the opposite of who she really is because of this, and because she is so plain that people don't often ask questions. She is viewed as delicate, feeble, and timid. Adelaide also comes off as very coy, and she is. She guards herself, and since she was raised to be an intellectual quick thinker there are often confusing flaws in her tales of Addie History. The dumber demigods don't usually see her errors, but the smart ones, who think at a more logical stage than Addie, easily pick up on her diffident stories. Yes, the daughter of Aphrodite is also diffident to an extreme extent. She doesn't talk highly of herself like the majority of her siblings do, and she expresses little bias. Addie still has a good number of opinions, but they are made impartially, and usually have nothing to do with past affairs. Only if you disrespect the girl will you make her list. Addie carries a sense of shameface with her, even if she doesn't look upset. Even when appearing positive it's hard not to feel ashamed of her past, and the way she let her father treat her. She sees weakness. Adelaide is actually very strong, but she lost herself like many victims do. She doesn't let others dwindle too long on this censurable truth, though, because when she picks up her guard, Adelaide lashes out. If she knows you caught her reacting to her scars, she will snap, and she snaps easily. Typically Addie isn't the kind of girl to explode on someone, but she can hit you where it hurts if you expose enough of your own weakness. She is a mental attacker, and through she isn't very book smart, she understands the mind well enough to manipulate it. This isn't to suggest that our sensitive daughter of Aphrodite is manipulative, because she isn't, but if you nudge her, she shoves back. In order to sum up Addie, you need only a few words—fiery, diffident, modest, enduring, and passionate Fatal Flaw: Addie underestimates everything around her. This includes danger, and herself. Skills Demigod Abilities: Addie inherited some of her mother's beauty, which, because it isn't run-of-the-mill pretty, gives her a chance of standing out. She can shift her aura to allow her to be noticed or blend in, but this doesn't change her physical appearance, just the effect she has on others. It doesn't work on people as stubborn as Adelaide, though. This is her only known demigod ability. Weapons: Adelaide doesn't allow herself to ever be without a weapon. She wishes she could feel the reassuring coldness of a gun tucked away in her pants, but since she can't, Addie settled for a sword. It is made of the same mixture as a certain son of Hermes, steel and celestial bronze, because Addie knows that mortals aren't all innocent. She doesn't have a shield, which is symbolic. She is exposed, but she will survive. Addie also knows how to correctly operate Greek Fire, but she hardly ever has any jars at her disposal. Other: None.

hana:
Hana Constance [daughter of hermes, god of thieves.]
Naming Full Name: Hana Marie Constance Nickname/s: Hana never had anyone to give her a nickname. Basics Age: 16 Date of Birth: unknown Gender: Female Family God Parent: Hermes Mortal Family:
"Um... My mom died. Or gave me up, I think... I'm not really sure. I was raised in an orphanage by Sister Susan and a few other nuns. In Sweden. I don't know whether or not I'm Swedish, I honestly don't know much about myself other than my name, but I know where I grew up. I have a fading accent, but nothing else to link me to that place or my unofficial family. I doubt I have any siblings."
Georgie Constance, deceased photographer, died at 22 Claimed: Yes Camp Information Years in Camp: None Claiming History: Hana arrived recently, but she was claimed during a sing-a-long. It was embarrassing. Year-Round or Summer: Year-Round History
"When you try your best, but you don't succeed. When you get what you want, but not what you need. When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep. (stuck in reverse) And the tears come streaming down your face. When you lose something you can't replace. When you love someone, but it goes to waste. Could it be worse? Lights will guide you home and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you. And high up above or down below. When you're too in love to let it go. But if you never try you'll never know just what you're worth. Lights will guide you home and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you. Tears stream down on your face. When you lose something you cannot replace. Tears stream down on your face and I... Tears stream down on your face. I promise you I will learn from my mistakes. Tears stream down on your face and I... Lights will guide you home and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you."
Hana was dumped at an orphanage a few months after she was born. Her mother, Georgie Constance, was a photographer who traveled the world looking for pictures to complete her "love across the oceans" photo set. She poured her life and soul into this photo set, and she attracted Hermes's attention because she traveled so often. Too engulfed in her pictures to settle down and care for Hana, Georgie finally decided to give up her daughter. Georgie was in Sweden at the time, taking pictures of the forests, when it dawned on her that success and Hana didn't mix. She found a nearby orphanage and dropped off her daughter with a small note scribbled on a piece of treebark. The note read: "Her name is Hana Marie Constance." Nothing else. To everyone in the catholic-run orphanage, the little girl was a mystery. Hana grew up with millions of questions but absolutely no answers. She wasn't even sure how old she was. (she still doesn't, although currently, she is 16 years old. she will turn 17 in march.) This can cause any normal human being to grow a little impatient and cranky. Hana wanted to know who she was. She wanted to know her story, and she didn't want to be welcomed into a new family and begin living a lie. She wanted to find out the truth about herself, even at a young age. Who wouldn't? Imagine having to live without knowing a single thing about yourself? On top of the mystery, Hana didn't really like life at the orphanage. She was one of many, many, many parentless children. Most of the kids were quiet or bossy. Few were optimistic and lively like Hana, which killed part of her happy-go-lucky natural attitude. She acted more sour and reserved. She had only one friend at the home, and her name was Alice. Alice was shy but imaginative, and once Hana got close to the girl, she realized how similar they were. Alice was orphaned at the age of four, so she was brought in to live with the rest of the children at a later age. She was exactly one year older than Hana, though Hana liked to say they were the same age, because she had no idea. This is why now she has a hard time deciding whether she is 16 or 17. Alice was eventually adopted, though. She had always been hopeful that she would find a new family, and adults saw this. Once Alice left, Hana mostly sat in her shared room and kept her mouth shut. She eventually started crying at night. It was hard feeling so alone. She was 10 at this time. A few years passed and the nuns started taking a particular interest in Hana. She was one of the most bizarre children they had ever looked after, and she was extremely clever, always managing to steal extra food from the kitchen without getting caught by the cook. She was faster than the other kids, too, even the boys. Still, despite her skills, she was quiet, and the adults at the orphanage gossiped about what her story must be. Under their careful watch, Hana grew more rebellious, acting out for the fun of acting out. She made trouble and mischief, which wasn't good for the younger kids to be exposed to. Sister Susan was quiet fond of Hana, and when a young man came in looking for an entergetic daughter, she offered up 16 year old Hana. The man, Lucas, revealed himself to be a satyr to a doubtful Hana just after "adopting her" under Hermes's name. He took her to Camp Half Blood. This is where she is now. Hana is disoriented and speaks a slur of Swedish, English, and Greek. Still, Alice spoke English, so her ability to speak the language is better than it should be. She has a faint accent, but she is starting to adjust very easily. (it has to do with her father being the messenger god. she has a natural drive to want to communicate with others.) Looks Hana has very long, slightly curly brown hair. Her eyes are hazel. Her skin is somewhat pale, seeing as she grew up inside a building and hardly got out for exercise. She is small framed, but stands at a very average 5'6". {wip} Personalities Hana isn't very outgoing, and doesn't have many friends. She isn't what you would call "shy", but bear in mind it's unlikely that she will talk to you just because she saw you on the street. Hana is a little different from the other girls her age, liking childish things and keeping to herself more than she should. She also struggles to talk to someone because of the slur of languages she might accidentally speak. She's quick to trust people, though, because she doesn't try and protect herself like she should. She assumes that you are a good person and longs to be in the company of someone who finds her equally as pleasant, or fun. She likes making people happy, but isn't a happy girl herself. She feels very average about life, although isn't very happy with the one she was given. She appears nice to most people, but her true colors are sneaky and mischievous. Hana likes causing trouble and danger, although it seems completely opposite of what the shy girl should enjoy. She's sly and cunning underneath her good girl mask. {wip} Fatal Flaw: Hana tries too hard to see the good in people, even though she understands that most people aren't good. She isn't sure why this is, but she knows she has this problem. Skills Demigod Abilities: Hana is very fast when she runs, although she is not superhuman, and she is good at handling being able to speak several differ languages. Weapons: Hana doesn't care much about the war, but she fights with a celestial bronze sword. Nothing big, because she really doesn't care much. Other: None.
june:
June Prenston [daughter of ares, god of war.]
Naming Full Name: June Helen Prenston Nickname/s: Demon, Destroyed, Tiny, Helen, Prenston, etc. Basics Age: 15 Date of Birth: March 23rd Gender: Female Family God Parent: Ares Mortal Family:
"There was a point where I simply hated my mother. I still do, but now I'm more forgiving because I don't have to deal with her neglect anymore. She sucks as a mom, really she does, but I get this weird vibe that she never wanted to have me in the first place—like, she never wanted to do it with Ares, and that's saying something, because she's a stripper. She's very sleazy, and I don't like her, but I'm not afraid of her anymore. I used to be, way back when. I'm not afraid of anything anymore."
Thalia "Sugar" Prenston, Stripper, 42 Claimed: Yes Camp Information Years in Camp: 2 Claiming History: June had an average claiming, as far as demigods go. The day she came to camp, during an argument at dinner with the Hermes cabin, Ares staked his claim. Year-Round or Summer: Year-Round History
song lyrics
June was born crazy, but not nearly as crazy as she rapidly became. Her mother didn't notice it until her preteen years, because she was always so busy with her "job," but June was overly violent. She played with dolls, but never quite played the right way. Her dolls made plans to kill other dolls and occasionally succeeded. Some people would argue that it was the Ares blood in her, but June was also a bit of a sociopath as well. Thalia, her mother, was never home. The family of two was poor. The people she went to school with teased her for her anger issues. June never stood a chance, because her entire life was a trap, leading her into the life of a sociopath. In second grade, June was coloring a picture from her coloring book. It was Donald Duck, which isn't exactly important, but does prove she was at least somewhat normal. The boy in June's class who had a crush on her quickly took a crayon and slid it across the demigod's picture. She soon became extremely mad, as any average 2nd grader would, but instead of throwing a fit, June flipped over the table and broke a crayon in half. She threw both halves of the crayon at the little boy and threatened the break his arm. Before June could take any immediate action, her teacher calmed her down and sent her to the office. In school, June had only one friend, a boy named Caleb. Caleb was as disliked as June, which is probably the reason they ended up misfits together. They hung out together for a while with little trouble, soon easing into the groove of friendship. June was bright, but Caleb often outshone her, which caused for a little jealously on June's part. This jealously eventually ended up forming a wall between the two that only the little girl knew about. Throughout her entire fourth grade year, June managed to never get sent to the office, but that was mostly because her classmates were intimidated by her and Caleb combined. However, in fifth grade, June broke a school record of 84 referrals. They were all for outbursts, threats, and violence towards others. Her elementary school principal wanted June to see a therapist, but since Thalia was never around to sign the little girl's permission slip, June never received help. It was trip to the office after endless trip to the office for June. In fact, June went to the office at school so many times, it started becoming more of a home than a punishment room. Her school was a private school, but they never felt the need to send June away. Principal Edmund, who always walked with a cane despite the fact that he was extremely young, simply wouldn't let the school board kick June out. Whenever June needed help, or just wanted to get away from her classmates, she would get herself sent to the office. Principal Edmund was more of a parent to June than Thalia, who always worked as an "exotic dancer." During 6th grade, Thalia/Sugar quit her job in an attempt to spend more time with her daughter, but June wasn't comfortable with the change. She started planning her revenge early on in the year and came up with the perfect plan. Since now June was more crazed than ever, and since Principal Edmund had comfortably admitted to the daughter of Ares that she showed signs of being a sociopath, June decided she had to show her mother exactly what she had caused. June ended up frightening her mother with a knife, and somehow cutting the mom on the wrist, but other than that, June had done no damage. She was just getting payback. Thalia had tried calling the police on her own daughter, but June had cut the phone lines, thinking ahead. Pleased with her performance, the 12 year old girl simply ran away. She felt a little bit depressed over leaving Principal Edmund, but there was no life at home, and her school wasn't a boarding school. June didn't have any idea where she was going to sleep, but she figured it would come to her when she needed to know. A voice in her head occasionally calmed her down at the most violent of times, and a voice in her head usually egged her on when she decided to take no action. To June, a brilliant girl, there had never been any question that the voice was her father, she just didn't know how he was able to talk to her, or who he was. Leaving meant never seeing Caleb again, but June's memory had been wiped clean of the boy just hours before threatening her mother. That day they had gotten into a fight that ended up costing June her unstable sanity and Caleb his vision. It wouldn't have had lasting effects had several gods not involved themselves in the matter. Before getting dipped in the river of memory loss, Caleb had called June psycho and June had done some damage to his eyes. The river water was bad for both wounds, and intensified them. So, one the run, the little girl didn't have any memory of her best, and only, friend. Caleb was as demigod as well, but he was kept at home, and June was persuaded to leave for camp. Once at camp, which Ares guided his daughter to, June was claimed and sent to the infirmary. The girl was afraid of how baffled everyone seemed to be by her attitude, and often lashed out because of it. She nearly strangled a medic and almost got herself into more lock down procedures, but obvious improvement came over a span of just a few weeks. June was a sociopath, but that was toned down and she no longer had the desire the harm others unless her anger issues took over. As long as everyone around her was patient, June could be, too. After starting to think like a normal camper, and over her two years at camp, June decided it would be alright to trust herself around other people who really cared. She was 14, after all, and most 14 year old girls were interested in dating. Why should her disability stand in her way? Why couldn't June be just like everyone else, especially with all the progress made? Why couldn't June be into dating like all others around her? She knew nothing about having crushes or falling in love, but she knew that some people already had, and the possibility of it happening to June was real. After two long years of therapy and violence at camp, June began sneaking out to the arena more often. Her Apollo Healer was slowly losing interest in the daught of Ares, and out of anger, she started rebelling against the infirmary. One of the days she happened to sneak off happened to be the day manticores attacked her only getaway, the arena. June had never been a team player, but after getting shot in the shoulder with an arrow, she was up for most anything. She desperately pleaded with the most reasonable looking demigod in the arena, whose name happened to be Caleb Wright. The boy from her past. That day she wound up saving his life, and a few days later they met up again, this reunion a purely chance occurrence. Something happened that day to make both of them remember, and ever since June has been hesitant to leave her friend's side. Ares wants something with them, and the pair being together must be a violation of the fates, because Caleb and June are both in danger of dying at the hand of the powerful Olympian. Looks June's hair is dark brown and usually straight, though naturally her hair is curly. It goes down to her chest, which means that it's rather long as far as hair goes, but usually has some form of a braid keeping it out of June's way. On special occasions she'll wear it down, but nothing more complicated than that. June's never had to impress anyone with her looks, so she doesn't try to look nicer than she really is. June's eyes are also dark brown, and are emotionally deep. You can look into them and see what her words are hiding. The brown in her eyes is extremely dark, and at night, it can be mistaken for black, which, as you can imagine, is a bit demonic looking on the intimidating girl. Her eyes are big, and she has exceptionally good vision, which allows her to be more observant than some others. Her eyelashes are thick, but not long enough to be considered "striking" or "beautiful." June's eyebrows are thin but cleanly shaped, which makes them look like they're waxed when they aren't. They are a much lighter shade of brown than her hair. June has very distinct cheekbones and a small, slightly pointed nose. Looking at June's profile, her cheeks don't look exceptionally large, but they are, and her nose slopes upwards. Her ears are hardly ever visible because of her wavy hair, but they are dainty and almost elvish. Her mouth is somewhat large and her lips are averagely full. June's chin is equally as distinct as her cheekbones, and juts out ever-so-slightly naturally. Because of this, she almost always looks annoyed, or angry. Her skin is pale, but not deathly pale. In the summer, it's the average shade of a normal person in the winter. She just doesn't soak in much sun. For a daughter of Ares, June is very small, and for an average person, she's short. But June has slender muscle on her arms and legs. This gives her an almost even smaller appearance, but bumps up her weight. She's 5'4" and weighs around 120 pounds. This is quite average, actually, seeing as she's always been pretty healthy, and she has a small frame. She has some mixed emotions about food, because while she loves to eat, she doesn't like feeling stuffed and bloated. This makes her eating schedule a little wacky, and can cause her weight to vary. Personalities June is a very dark and unusually twisted girl, but since coming to camp she's had professional help. She mainly just longs to be with other people--people who will care for her and look after her. She's not exactly lost, but is always on the verge of slipping away. She doesn't accept help very easily, and she hates working with people, even if they've made it their wish to help her. Though no one knows it, June has never fallen for anyone, but if she were to fall for someone, it would be someone who she needs to work with in order to fully love them. The struggle is part of a great relationship in June's opinion, because you deserve each other, things didn't just happen. June's biggest problem with herself is that fact that she can't see herself in a positive way. After being called psychotic and a lost cause, June's self esteem plummeted. If June manages to make a good first impression on someone, which would only work if the person was interesting to June, and most likely beneficial to her situation. She doesn't just open up about the said "situation", either. She would rather die than appear exposed to someone who could abuse her secrets. Another thing about June is that she's bad at holding on, but even worse at letting go. Her lack of people skills makes everything harder for the demigod. She blames her father for this, but really, she should be blaming her mother's parenting. Her father is quite a social god and is the root of only June's anger issues. Those issues are the most minor thing about her. She gets angry easy, but the anger isn't want tends to take over her system. Emotionless numbness-ity takes it's root when June wants to gain control, but it's hard to tackle your own issues without knowing what causes them. And without having someone to help you out. Alone. Oh, June's so alone. She has Nico di Angelo to be alone with, but he doesn't care as much about her as he used to. That was back when Nico had a crush on her. When the crush went away, so did the eager attitude. The younger son of Hades is the only boy to have ever been crushing on the intimidating, but small, daughter of Ares. This doesn't help with June's whole "you are beautiful" thing. She refuses to believe it. As the saying goes, "No girl believes she's beautiful until a guy makes her feel like she is." This saying is true for June. But it's not just that she doesn't feel beautiful. She doesn't, but that's not her main problem. June also feels unappreciated, and often knows that no one is on her side. No one is cheering her on. She's heard the rumors people spread around. "She's never dated anyone because she likes girl." "She asked out that little kid she hangs around, Pico!" "June likes Caleb." "Did you hear June killed an Iris kid with her bare hands?" The rumors spread, and though most people don't know June, they like to think they know her story. They don't. "She's never dated anyone because she likes girls." Wrong. The only reason she hasn't dated anyone is because no one likes her. Her personality is unpleasant. It's not appealing to anyone if you aren't like her. However, June is surprisingly open to people who are like her. She'd be more likely to fall for them, but since people really don't like June typically, they would brake her heart. This is a lesson June has to learn the hard way, because she isn't very accepting. "She asked out that little kid she hangs around, Pico!" Also wrong. Nico and June are friends, and since June wasn't interested in finding someone to guard her--guard her heart--June wouldn't have asked anyone out in the past. She's still nervous to be accepting of love now. She wouldn't make the first move in a situation like that. Nico doesn't make June feel like everyone else, either. That's who June would want to fall in love with. And someone older than her, or at least the same height. That isn't hard. June is small. "June likes Caleb." Okay, okay, okay. June just met Caleb. He does have a warm effect on June, but the daughter of Ares isn't that quick to fall in love with someone. The fact that she doesn't want to stuff him into a tight, airless space is a good sign, and it shows her gradual mood changes around "Knives", but it doesn't mean she likes him. It means he makes her feel special. It means he can see past the things other people dwell a little too long on. This is the reason June allows herself to get used to Caleb's company. She doesn't have much fear that he will leave her side, even if she gives him the chance. The demigod knows that Caleb is her answer. She doesn't know she likes him. "Did you hear that June killed an Iris kid with her bare hands?" That would be Kate, June's savior's girlfriend. Or, the person she first assumed was her savior because he did save her physical life. His name was Niall, and for a brief amount of time, June thought he would be the one she actually fell for. Like with Caleb, people assumed June really did like the Hephaestus boy and figured she was jealous of the Iris girl, Kate. How that turned to murder, June couldn't tell you. She's creative, but not in the way of problem solving. Usually, therapists are there to do the solving. June's there to do the "problem creating." Fatal Flaw: June doesn't like being with people, which means she doesn't like receiving help. She will even hurt others around her without much thought. June is a minor sociopath. Skills Demigod Abilities: ~June is fueled by anger and strives to outdo everyone. This is more of a trait than an ability, but she received it from her father. ~June has immense strength for a girl her size, and also has a way with weapons. ~**The daughter of Ares can learn to fight with a weapon by picking it up.** Weapons:June is skilled in the usage of many weapons, but she only owns a set of four celestial bronze throwing knives and a celestial bronze sword. Her sword, which she named Partner, turns into a ring with a flower on it. Other: June has a secret desire to find her old self.

it just seemed fitting that will should be put to rest within the same topic that Hale rests in.
my will baby<3
Spoiler:
Will Michaels "I just kind of hit this point where I hated living my life, where I wanted to die."
birthday: his birthday is in june. gender: male. years in camp: two years now. god parent: he had half-mortal parents, who had Zeus and Hermes blood in them. mortal parent: Uh...Well he has half mortal parents, Roxanne and Steven. brief history: Will was born premature from his mother at camp. The whole thing was very scandolous. His mother had cheated on her boyfriend at age 18 and had him very premature as a young boy. It just happened. She couldn't control it or herself at the time. Will was born and his first few days at camp were rough. Seeing as though his own father had hated him since the day he was born. His father never wanted a kid. Never really liked Will. Roxanne begged Steven to stay and help her raise him but he told her no and left to go play soccer in Germany. Roxanne was completely on her own. Being a daughter of Zeus her father took pity on her and changed Will from baby into a young man so Roxanne would have it easy. Seeing as how Roxanne needed to go to college and was the cabin leader. Destiny Skyys, another one of his mother's best friends, instantly fell in love with the baby Will and decided to get him a few gifts. Storm Chaser and the blankie. Naturally she was upsetted by the fact that he couldn't use the bottle or blankie, even though Will sleeps with the blankie still every night. One fateful day when Roxanne's best friend, Madeline Kinze, walked into the room, Will fell in love with her although she was technically his aunt. Over the next couple of years, William had his ups and his downs but nothing compared to what happened after Roxanne died in WIll's arms. Roxanne--his mother--was killed during a battle and it tore Will up. He didn't know it at the time, but he was messed up after that. physical appearance: "Will, you're a truck." Will has a very, tall, muscular frame for only being sixteen. He enjoys working out and does so everyday. He gets up at sunrise and runs three miles and lifts weights before the sun comes up. He stands at about six foot six inches being very tall and big. His aunts and family often call him 'Truck'. He also has several scars on his hips from where he cut himself. Will was in a very dark period not too long ago where he lost his girlfriend and his mother. Will's skin is a normal, light color. He doesn't have fair skin that belongs on a redhead. He tans very well, it's just that it's winter outside and Will hasn't exactly spent time in the sun so he's very pale. Will enjoys being tan, it's one of the few materialistic qualities about him. He likes being tan. Will has soft, ink-black hair that comes down and touches his eyebrows. He has a colic in the back, though, which makes the ends curl upwards a little bit. Girls often find this hot. Will also wears an earring in his left ear. His hair is a natural color. Will has a very masculine face with hard, prominent features. Like his chin and jawline. They're very prominent. Will has rather medium shaped eyebrows, partly because he has Hermes in him. They arch upwards nicely making for a good surprised look. Underneath his brows are two pretty eyes. They range from a soft blue to a blue-green to a gray-blue to a gray. He has his mothers eyes. They change with the weather. His eyes are framed with soft, lush, black eyelashes that girls are insane for. Will has an odd way of dressing. He doesn't dress like normal boys. He enjoys dressing up and wearing suits without jackets. If it's a cabin leader meeting he will dress up. He will wear a white button-down shirt and dress pants and dress shoes and a tie. Will loves formal events because then he has an excuse to rent a tux. If he's just going out and about at camp, then he'll just wear a shirt, hoodie, jeans, and a pair of sneakers. His mother swears that his father had Aphrodite in him. personality: Will is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He's sweet and totally nice about everything. He's one of few who actually cares about the other person. Will sometimes uses friendly sarcasm and shares with almost everyone. If you first meet him, your impression is most likely, 'perfect guy, all-around great guy, valedictorian,' or something along those lines. If you actually knew Will, you'd know his life isn't at all perfect. He's not just the gorgeous, nice, sweet, and funny guy you know, but the lovestruck son of two dead demigods. Will has the tendency to get stuck in a lot of love related dramas. His first love was a half sister of his. People tend to not like him because they think he has a perfect life and they're jealous. Will wishes he could change that, but he knows he can't. He's totally that 'nice-guy' stereotypical demigod that everyone likes. He really has very few enemies. Will's not the type of guy that's going to ignore you if you need help. He's the type of guy to help out someone no matter what and no matter who they are. It's his fatal flaw. He's too nice. fatal flaw: Will's too nice and too willing to help people. He's also extremely loyal. pets: He doesn't really have any pets. Unless you count the fact that he might be getting a German Shepard puppy. weapons: Has a sword that changes into a blanket. The swords name is Storm Traveler. talents: ---> Lightning Manipulation: Lately, having become very good at lightning manipulation, Will can make lightning appear in his hands frequently. Eventually he gets tired out. He cannot do this all day. Lightning Control: Will isn't exactly very good with making lightning come down from the sky, but he tries. Stealth Increase: Because his father was half Hermes, William is rather sneaky and excellent on sneaking up on people. This makes him a valuable CTF team member. Thunder Manipulation: Coming from his mother's side of the family, Will's excellent at making thunder sound and shake the ground. Long Distance Running: From his father's side of the family, Will is able to run for rather long distances, since his grandfather is the god of travelers.

sasha:
Sasha Perry [daughter of zeus, lord of the sky.]
Naming Full Name: Sasha Nicole Perry Nickname/s: Sash Basics Age: sixteen Date of Birth: september 23rd Gender: female Family God Parent: Zeus Mortal Family: Karen [Perry] Tylers, stay at home mom, 42 Harold "Harry" Tylers, lawyer, 45 Barbie Tylers, tiny model, 4 Claimed: yes Camp Information Years in Camp: four Claiming History: Sasha was walking into camp after a day out, torn up and tattered from an unexpected run in she had had with a very confused hellhound, when Zeus finally claimed her. This was almost a year after Sasha arrived at camp. Year-Round or Summer: yes History Sasha was born on a fairly warm, extremely humid September night in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Because she is the daughter of a Big Three god, her birth was significant to bring rain to the very dry city in the pan-shaped southern state. The Perrys' neighbors grew questioning of the rain, which drove Karen, Sasha's mother, to move them to a place where rain was much more common, in the event of her daughter possibly making it storm again. This is why the would be-southern belle grew up in Seattle, Washington. Sasha would likely admit to anyone who asks, she's glad she moved. The city is where she belonged. It was always a place for her to feel like she fit in. Being raised by a single mother had always been nothing weird in Seattle, a lot of people had family troubles in her apartment complex, but if she had lived back in Oklahoma, everyone would have known her story, and she would have been an outcast. Sasha never completely fit in, though, despite the level of secrecy she had been given. She was a little awkward around the other children. She got in trouble in class for not every paying attention. She got in trouble with the other little girls in her class for threatening them too often. She got in trouble with the little boys in her class for trying to boss them around. And she always had this habit of shocking anyone she shook hands with... The kids didn't ever really like that, no telling why! When Sasha was about 10, her mother married a man named Harry Tylers, whom she had been seeing since Sasha was 7. The girl had already pretty much seen Harry as her father, so for the Perry-Tylers family, the wedding was just a formality. Sasha's powers started kicking in shortly after the wedding, though, and anxious to protect her new marriage and quell her daughter's worrying, Karen had Sasha go off to camp. (or what her mother thought was camp. some of kronos's aura spirits were just bending mist to convince her to hand her daughter over to the time lord.) Kronos had noticed the storm Sasha's birth had created, and he had been interested in the powerful ten year old from the get-go. Sasha hadn't believed the demigod mumbo jumbo at first, which had gotten her punished by Kronos. The ten year old had never suffered through something as painful as Titan Lord wrath, and the pain doesn't bare repeating, but her punishment was severe for such a young girl. For three years, Sasha was trained to fight godly supporters and to hate the gods on olympus, but after those three years, the teenager was allowed to attend Camp Half Blood, where her entire life was turned upside down. There were demigods she actually liked at the camp. She felt like she belonged at the camp. Zeus claimed her at the camp. This is how Sasha's indecisiveness began. Her mind told her not to trust the gods, but her heart, her gut, and everything in between told her she belonged with the rest of Camp Half Blood. Three years after being allowed to entire the camp, Sasha still hasn't made up her mind and she's been scared into obeying Kronos by a prophecy he had revealed to her on her sixteenth birthday. The girl with looks as striking as her eyes, was only born to spin her lies. She belongs no where, for if she picks sides, you can be sure her battle leads to a path where everyone dies. Sasha has never told anyone about the prophecy, for it came to her in a dream, and no one else knows about it. She doesn't ever want to tell anyone. She doesn't like making people worry about her. Looks Sasha has a very naughty look to her. She is strikingly, naturally beautiful. It was always a surprise to her parents that she wasn't ever picked up as a model. She is not a daughter of the goddess of beauty, but with her few real talents, she is often mistaken as one. Her hair is long enough to reach the middle of her back, but because it's often curled or messy, it looks shorter. Her bangs are outgrown and usually frame her face, unless they blend in with the rest of her golden brown locks. The demigod's eyes are blue-grey, like the sky when it's storming, but when she's using her power over electricity, they are a much brighter shade of blue. Sasha is not tan, but she is not exactly pale. Her skin has a few random freckles, and she occasionally gets pimples, but her Aphrodite friends are good at helping her conceal these. Sasha is not supermodel skin, but she is built very healthily. Sasha trains double, and her arms have some underdeveloped muscle, as do her legs. Her stomach isn't completely flat, but Sasha doesn't care. She values her hair and the fact that she is complemented on her looks more often than the average girl. (she can have a pretty big head about her beauty and charm.) Personalities Sasha is a liar, although she is very driven and ambitious. She has a sarcastic but humorous sense of humor, and she's pretty fun to be around. She's fun loving and a little bit of a prankster. She doesn't like discussing serious things, because she knows if she does, she will give out too much information. The girl has trust issues, and chances are, even if you're her best friend, she doesn't trust you completely. She has kept quite a few secrets, and she has hidden a lot of things from everyone she cares about. This doesn't mean she is disloyal, because she is certainly a very personally loyal person, but she believes that trusting someone and caring for someone are totally different. Sasha is a very flaky person, and doesn't have a very strong sense of her own feelings, or what she believes. This is why she can be a good friend to others, but doesn't quite know how to handle herself. On the outside, Sasha is tough and doesn't care about much, but on the inside, the girl is a complete wreck. She's constantly trying to understand who she cares enough about to side with, whether or not she is actually a traitor, and if she will ever tell anyone about what she has done in siding with Kronos. This has done a number on her confidence, and while she jokes about having a big ego and comes off as unmodest, compliments mean a lot to Sasha. She takes them as a sign. To the daughter of Zeus, anything that happens in a sign. As a daughter of Zeus, Sasha has a big personality and is extremely brave. She is bold, unless the bold action would risk blowing her cover. Because of this, you could also say she is intelligent. With a personailty as both sly and exciting, you can say Sasha radiates appeal, though she doesn't particularly enjoy a lot of attention. Sasha is careful and collected, quite like her brother Jason Grace. She, like most Zeus demigods, does well in a leader position, but Sasha doesn't want to feel like a leader. She longs to be told what to do. She wants to be guided, not have to guide, but often, because of her heritage and natural ability, Sasha is chosen to lead. She would rather take orders, which is strange for a person as brave as she, but Sasha is well aware of how unstable she really is. She has seen her fate. She knows she is destined to fail. Because she has seen what is supposed to become of her, sometimes Sasha is too careless. She is also secretly afraid. (if you were wondering, sasha is supposed to lead in a battle and end up failing to make the right decisions. this leads to death.) She has made sure to never get herself wrangled into a battle, and has made friends with as few people as possible, still, because of her loyalty, Sasha likes protecting people, and this has become hard. She is a traitor, but she is loyal to people, not sides, and though this might come as a surprise, Sasha actually likes people. She can just be fierce and unpleasant towards the people she doesn't like. That's another thing about the girl. You don't want her as your enemy. She can be dark because of what she's gone through training for Kronos, and doesn't take crap from anyone. Setting her off is like setting off a bomb, but she picks her fights carefully, so it's not likely you're important enough to her to set her off. People like to pin things on Sasha, but if you get to know her, she is actually very nice. A lot of girls don't like Sasha because of how comfortable she is around boys, and because of her looks, and since she is aware of this, sometimes the daughter of Zeus flaunts it. She likes showing off when she can, but she also doesn't like too much attention, and would prefer to not have eyes on her. This request isn't often granted because of how surprisingly beautiful she is, but when Sasha does manage to have some time to herself or with a small group, she opens up a little bit and becomes pleasant and fun. She tries to get everyone to like her, though, and does a lot of gossiping about other people in order to fit in. There isn't something she won't do to win you over. Sasha knows she needs to be trusted, because if people suspect her of trickery, then she will be punished, which Sasha has gone through once before. It scared her in ways that only made her more of a mess inside. She is strong. She copes well with pain. But she is also a little girl. She is also fragile and unforgiving. She's a real force to be reckoned with. Fatal Flaw: Sasha suffers from severe personal loyalty issues. Skills Demigod Abilities: Sasha can summon electricity from her hands as a child of Zeus, and she is relatively immune to shock, though if it is powerful, she will be harmed. It's most likely that she will suffer from lack of overall health than that she will feel physical pain if she is struck by a large amount of watts, though. Weapons: Sasha has a very conductive celestial bronze sword that turns into a watch. This watch changes as she takes sides in the Titan War. It is gold with a black background when she's decided to side with the titans, but it's silver with a white background when she puts her faith in the gods. Other: She has a grey tabby kitten named "Louis."

cambley:
Cambley Connors [daughter of athena, goddess of wisdom.]
Naming Full Name: Cambley Ann Connors Nickname/s: Most people just call her Cambley, but you could call her Cam or Cammie and she wouldn't mind. Basics Age: 17 Date of Birth: July 4th Gender: female Family God Parent: Athena Mortal Family: Tom Welling, merchant and birth father, died at 42 John Connors, hs teacher and adoptive father, 38 Hillary Connors, adoptive stay at home mother, 36 Michael Connors, basketball player and adopted brother, 19 Claimed: no Camp Information Years in Camp: 3 Claiming History: Cambley prays to the gods every night to not be claimed. She isn't sure why. Mostly it's that she doesn't think she can handle yet another change in lineage, and she's happy to stay unknown. Year-Round or Summer: She comes and goes as she pleases. History Cambley was born in 1793 to Athena, goddess of wisdom, and Tom Michael Welling, a prosperous merchant. Like most merchants, Tom made his living by smuggling, and when Cambley was old enough to walk, she became old enough to help her father smuggle. Not that the girl minded, though. She liked helping her father and feeling like she was working. Most of the time, the illegal trade involved boats, which the girl was extremely fond of. The boats could go anywhere they wanted to go, explore any area of the sea that the captain was willing to steer them, and seemed like such grand structures. They weren't huge, but they were sturdy, which alluring masses and tall white sails. Cambley always told herself that her mother probably left them to go exploring the sea, because for whatever reason she was so drawn to it. The girl attended school on and off, although she was highly intelligent and could easily keep up with her classes when she was away helping her dad. On travels Cambley often read novels or poem books to keep herself occupied, even though they became increasingly more difficult to read as her dyslexia got worse and worse, and her ADHD became more and more of a distraction. When Cambley was about 13, Tom took her to a pub and let her wait inside while he took care of business and such. The girl was more than happy to wait, considering she had a book in hand and plenty of space to read. Like usual, it was hard to keep herself focused, and the blinking lights coming from the back of the pub kept distracting her. Giving into temptation, the young demigod put down her book and scuttled across the pub. Before she could even comprehend what was happening, the girl was getting yanked away from the games that had been flashing at her, the strange robotic looking games, hundreds, maybe even thousands of them. Feverishly, Cambley started yelling about her father, and why were there people grabbing onto her arms, and she didn't want to die, and she had left her book on the other side of the pub. Her shouting wasn't even earning her a second glance from anyone in the metallic looking pub. Once she had been yanked out of building, Cambley couldn't hold in her sobs, almost positive that the two men who had pulled her out of the casino were going to kill her. Until she saw that they weren't two men. They were two boys, hardly much older than her, probably 15, maybe 16 years old. They were a lot taller than Cambley, with good looking smiles and tattered clothes. They called themselves demigods, and that word alone made her head spin. The boys explained everything on the trip through the Nevada desert. They were on a quest, whatever that meant, and they were supposed to pick up Cambley, for whatever reason, and take her back to Camp Half Blood, whatever that was. Things got even weirder when Cambley asked for the year and it was not in the 1700's, or 1800's, or even the freaking 1900's. A little over 200 years had passed and the girl had felt like the casino flew by in a matter of seconds. Upon Cambley's insistence, the older boy, Michael, took the girl to his house where his extremely young parents fell instantly in love with the feisty red head. Like they had done with their demigod son, Michael, the Connors adopted Cambley a few weeks after she started living in their home. In California, the red head went from being a daring, adventurous, merchant girl, to an even feistier, ever so "flawless", shopaholic. She didn't hid her intelligence like a lot of girls, which is one thing that set Cambley apart from most of her friends and made her a bit of an outcast. For two years, the girl attempted to adjust to life in modern school, with modern children, with modern concerns. Finally she gave up and followed her brother to Camp Half Blood. There, she was much more accepted. She wasn't really stuck up in past anymore after being forced into the present head on by her parents, but when she did grow confused about something, there was almost always a demigod who would answer her question without teasing. She became something of a popular girl around camp, a smart girl with a loud personality. The war took a huge toll on Cambley though, as her brother moved on from camp to attend college and she realized how lost she was in battle without him. Michael had been a son of Zeus, a strong leader, and the girl just felt extremely alone, even with the large number of friends she had earned herself. She began, for the first time, looking for a friend that she could really talk to, someone like her brother who didn't care whether she was one of the most popular girls in camp or someone who might as well been the dirt everyone walked on. That was all Cambley really cared about. The war made her realize how many fake friends she really had, what a large number, and made her think back to the little merchant girl with no friends. Things were different now. They were weird. Looks Cambley has hair as fiery as her personality, hair that makes her easily identifiable as a red head. It's naturally straight and extremely thick, and it doesn't curl as well as she wishes it did. Cambley has gotten good at braiding and up-do's since leaving the casino, and it's hardly ever just down and straight. The daughter of Athena has to have some sort of design woven through her auburn mane. Like most people with hair as orange as Cambley, the girl is pale with a few small brown freckles scattering her cheeks. Her nose is small and round, tilted up just a little making her even look like she knows everything. Cambley's eyes are perhaps her most interesting feature, although they aren't as striking as her hair or as noticeable as her pale skin. Her large, almond shaped eyes shift colors frequently, and hardly ever appear to be the same. Although their natural color is hazel, they can, for whatever unsupernatural reason, appear a wide range of colors from grey to dark brown, nearly black. They appear to change in varying lights and at different times of the day. If you wanted to know the science behind this, you could ask Cambley and she would be able to tell you all about color perception on hazel eye hue, but this could turn into an essay on the science of vision and it is not advised. Cambley's jaw line is very sqaure, and although she is pretty broad shouldered, she is short. Standing at only five feet three inches at the age of seventeen, Cambley is much smaller than the average girl. Her waist is not underweight, though, and while she could not be mistaken for anorexic, the Athenian's body type is very "healthy." She doesn't starve herself, she doesn't diet, and she works out a lot to maintain her structure. She likes being small but not overly so. Overall, the out of place girl is very pretty, especially for being flung into another time and having to conform to the new ideas of beauty. The popular girls at school did help her with her fashion, though, and she has a very hipster style, perfect for vintage photos. Personalities Cambley is extremely smart and level-headed, although she can be uptight when it comes to doing things her way. She has a bit of an ego when it comes to her intellegence, and she does not express this directly, but it shows when she's being stubborn in an arguement or lecturing someone on anything. She doesn't often push her knowledge onto someone, but when she does, Cambley does it with passion and it's almost always to assert that she was right. To assert her superiority. This is not to say that the girl has a feelign of superiority over others, because she's rather down to earth, actually, but when you have a talent, don't you like to show it off? Cambley is very well mannered, even though sometimes she chooses to disregard these taught polite behaviors. She learned how to behave in society from her birth dad, which makes her extremely old-fashioned, but modern day public school has pretty much modernised her in all the wonderfully ways to be rude and stuck up. Cambley still sticks to 19th centuty manners out of respect. She's a nice, previously shy and quiet girl, who knows how to behave. Plus, she thinks acting in such a way makes you somewhat more classy then you were before, and she likes presenting herself this way. This is not to say that Cambley is uptight and unwilling to have fun. She loves messing around, sneaking around, but never fooling around. Cambley is hard to tie down and even though she's from the past, she's adapted well and blends in. Sometimes you can tell when she gets confused over something modern, as it's hard to accept everything that has changed, but she doesn't like showing when she is uncertain. She's really quite adorable to talk to, always saying nice things, but then slipping in something that seems completely out of character when in reality is just her complicated personality at it's finest. The daughter of Athena loves nothing more than learning, and this requires her to be extremely curios about everything. She's not afraid to ask questions, and she loves being in good and interesting company, because she likes learning about other people, too. She's brave and into exploring. There's hardly a dull moment when hanging out with Cambley, but if she doesn't like you, she won't waste her time with you. Life is too short to be boring. She spends every moment she can soaking in new information and making her time count. She's secretly afraid things will change all too quickly again, and before she knows it, it will be 100 years in the future and she will have to start over. For this reason, Cambley doesn't really get extremely close to anyone. She's the girl that friendzones guys too often, and she can't help it. It's fear. Fatal Flaw: Cambley is overly curious. She will get herself into a lot of mischief snooping around when she shouldn't be, even if she knows better. Skills Demigod Abilities: Cambley is extremely smart and can pick up new information easily. She was able to teach herself how to read and write in a time where that was particularly unheard of, but she's not very strong and much rely on her witt and agility to survive. This puts in her a dangerous position in battle. It's too much strategy not enough strike. Weapons: Cambley's copy of the Odyssey turns into a celestial bronze sword with the entire book scribed in miniscule letters along the blade and hilt. It changes when you fold the 236th page's corner, and when you press the jewel on it's huilt. Cambley's sheild stays a sheild, and it's also celestial bronze, medium in size, and circular. Other: Cambley has a one year old border collie named Toby that her brother Michael got her for her 16th birthday. She's very attatched to the dog and is the one thing at camp she has grown extremely close to.
august:
August Williams [son of apollo, god of the sun.]
Naming Full Name: August Joseph Williams Nickname/s: August goes by Gus, no exceptions. Basics Age: 16 Date of Birth: December 19th Gender: Male Family God Parent: Apollo Mortal Family: Sydney Williams, dance instructor, 39 Hannah Williams, lacrosse player, 13 Claimed: Yes Camp Information Years in Camp: two weeks Claiming History: Gus was sacrificing his food to the gods, and Apollo claimed him there. Year-Round or Summer: Year Round History Gus was born on December 19th to a professional ballerina, Sydney Williams. Gus was a big baby, and he would continue to be a rather chubby boy. (until he hit puberty and things got better.) As a child, Gus was always the boy who didn't really have any friends, even though he was nice to everyone, and everyone liked him. This was mostly because of his weight. He wasn't the kind of kid you wanted to be seen hanging around. He was smart, good in music class but not pe, and not even close to being "good looking." It was the formula for a successful adult, but in elementary school and middle school, those things didn't exactly score you any friends. Gus's only playmate was his younger sister Hannah. He was her senior by just three years, and the two got along well, although Hannah had always been either "cute" or "stunning." She had been born with just as much baby fat as her brother, but she hadn't had a hard time getting rid of it, unlike her brother. Hannah had always been extremely athletic, from the moment she could kick around a soccerball. Gus learned a lot about sports by watching his sister, even though he couldn't play. He was too uncoordinated for sports. His slight obesity prevented him from being any good at anything, even football, where his size should have helped him. Sports just weren't young Gus's thing. At the age of 14 Gus started changing from the pudgy awkward kid to the school hunk. He lost his extra weight and gained most of it back in muscle. He grew vertically but not horizontally, and his horrible acne mostly cleared up. (he was still a teenager, though. he didn't suddenly turn into a model.) He went from having no friends to being in the popular clique, although it really meant nothing to the demigod. He had spent the first fourteen years of his life dealing with being one of the nicest kids you'll ever meet but still being friendless, and he had grown smart enough to know what kind of a dog show middle and high school popularity was. He did, however, get into sports with his new, more agile body. The only benefit Gus could see to not being to class loser was that no one beat him up anymore, for fear of getting killed if they tried. Gus's only true friends could be found on his high school basketball team, the boys who had spent enough time around him to realize that they actually liked the kid, and not just because everyone else liked him. Gus made varsity his sophomore year after having not even been able to make the team his freshman year. (by 10th grade he had gotten used to his new strength and agility.) The boy's life became sports, just like his little sister, who had gotten into lacrosse, and even though he was usually so good at keeping up with his music, Gus had practically given up on it. Following the end of his sophomore year, Gus scored his first girlfriend, finally thinking he could trust someone enough to love them. The girl he dated was a year younger than him, and not the most popular girl in her grade, which of course lead people to talk. Her name had been Anne. Anne was on the junior varsity cheer squad, and occasionally cheered at Gus's games. He didn't date her for long, though, because she started acting strange and wouldn't tell him what was wrong. Soon after their breakup, Gus's only non-basketball team friend took him to Camp Half-Blood, where things only continued to get stranger. Looks Gus has somewhat medium length, dirty blonde hair that almost always sticks straight up in the front. He hardly combs it, like he used to when he was chubby and unpopular. His eyes are hazel, a mix of emerald green and light brown, and his arched eyebrows give him his fox-shaped Apollo appearance. His lips are thin, his jawline defined, and his cheekbones rather soft. Gus is tall, standing at 5'11" and just 16 years old. He has a lot of muscle mass, making his weight rather high, although he lost practically all of his chub upon hitting puberty. His skin isn't tan in comparison to his siblings, but the boy isn't pale. He's... fair. Personalities Gus is a relatively quiet boy with little to no interest in having tons of friends, or really fitting in at all for that matter. He thinks of himself as quite ordinary, not because he has low self esteem, but because he's very humble for a sixteen year old boy. You can hear him refer to himself as "Just Gus" when he's told he's extraordinary in something, and he doesn't like receiving much attention. This isn't the son of Apollo being shy, because he's far from shy, Gus is just socially awkward by almost all definitions of the word. Physically he's not abnormal, he really goes above and beyond average there, but mentally? He's still the chubby nine year old with no friends, and he's perfectly happy to be that way. He's the type who would rather have one real friend than a million fake ones. Several things developed from going so long with no friends, one of them being trust issues. Gus isn't quick to confide in someone, even if he's nice to everyone and gives everyone a second chance. He isn't big on first impressions, and rarely judges, but he doesn't automatically think you're great, either. He will like you, he will not worship the ground you walk on. If you give him a reason to think you're shallow or fake, though, Gus will see right through your facade and likely end the friendship right there. He had to learn quickly who he could trust and who he couldn't so that he could avoid being used after he ... bulked up. Now he's a pretty good judge of character for such a genuinely kind kid. (although he is pretty quick to judge, and that's one of his biggest flaws.) Gus likes having fun, just like a normal teenager, but he has only been to a few parties, and he hates them. He doesn't like drinking, because he can't handle his alcohol, and he doesn't like drugs because Gus feels that there is great power in being in control. If there is a high school party that doesn't involve one of the two things mentioned, August would love to hear about it. He takes risks, but is a rule-follower type. He isn't easily bent to peer pressure, since he doesn't care about what people think of him, but that makes him stubborn. He isn't difficult to get along with, but he's not someone to get into a fight with. He doesn't hold grudges, but he usually doesn't have to, because his intelligence and stubbornness can win him a lot of arguments. He's very fair, and a better mediator than anything else. He doesn't typically pick sides, because he has no reason to be biased. He isn't close enough to people. He does handle pressure well, and won't show much weakness in the face of pain and danger. He's a careful person, getting this from his genius. Despite his antisocial tendencies, Gus is really lovable, and truly youthful at heart. He can be a bit of a nerd, and a bit standoffish at times, but he's still a good friend, a nice guy, and a puppydog of a person. Â Fatal Flaw: Gus, like in his past life, will hold on too tightly, as suffers from both personal loyalty, and being too willing to sacrifice himself for others. He'll help anyone in need, even if they don't deserve it. Skills Demigod Abilities: Gus can bend light to his will, sometimes even being able to summon it into orbs or rays from his hands. This light isn't very bright, but it doesn't drain Gus as much as it should. This power comes from Apollo and Hale. It's his closest connection to his past life. Gus is also pretty good at instruments, but he's rusty after giving them up for sports. Mostly he can just bend and summon light, and do it well considering he's had no training. Weapons: Gus has a sword once owned by Hale Drem, and it turns into a silver yinyang necklace with leather string with it isn't a sword. He isn't sure how he got it, or who used to own it. It was just on his bed one day. Other: Hale Drem went for a second life after dying, surprised to find out that he was somehow granted one. The reincarnation was August Wiliams.

Tiffany Powell [daughter of terpsichore, muse of dance.]
Naming Full Name: Tiffany Claire Powell Nickname/s: Tiffany can prefer to go by Tiff at any given time. Basics Age: 17 Date of Birth: May 27 Gender: Female Family God Parent: Terpsichore Mortal Family: Kiran Powell, 43, high school basketball coach Mary Powell, 36, stay at home mom Damian Powell, 16, football and track athlete Rose Powell, 14, dancer like her sister, not as good Gwyneth Powell, 6, wants to dance like her sisters Jake Powell, 6, troublemaker Claimed: Yes Camp Information Years in Camp: None Claiming History: Tiffany was dancing in the Hermes cabin, alone, when her mother claimed her. She was extremely confused and ran out of of the cabin in a daze. A helpful Apollo girl explained everything to her then. Year-Round or Summer: Year Round, but Tiffany likes checking up on her family. History Tiffany was born just 9 months after her brother, Damian. Looks Tiffany has blonde hair, naturally highlighted with brown and what looks often like white. It's natural pretty straight, but it can also be dry, so she struggles to be content with her hair. Tiffany's eyes are very blue. Her skin is pretty pale, but she has muscle built up in her legs from dance. {wip} Personalities Tiffany is not usually quiet, but when she's tired or upset, you won't hear her try to act happy.
