I ran through the woods, trying to reach the fight. My bow was by my side, and I jumped over a root just in time to see my first scene of the battle. Injured Camper's lay nearly everywhere, and a few that looked a little worse than simply bleeding. Even a few Hunter's were in the midst. So I wasn't the only one with the same idea.
I mean, one day I was relaxing with a Coke on the beach, the next I heard someone saying there was something going on in the Woods. As I had run through the Camp, more pieces of the puzzle had fell into place, until I had the story.
A load of monsters had burst out of the Labyrinth, was the simple, edited version. And well, at least it was interesting.
Pulling an arrow from the quiver, in one fluid motion I had it notched, and one second later flying toward a monster.
It exploded into dust just before it had the chance to munch on a fallen blonde girl.
I ran forward, and knelt at her side.
'Name?' I asked her.
The girl had no wounds, seemingly just fallen. But she would have been monster meat if it hadn't been for my arrow.
'Buffy Summers, Khione. You?' she asked, taking my outstretched hand and pulling herself up.
'Charlie. Hunter of Artemis and Daughter of Iris. You okay?' I replied, scanning.
There were many more monsters. But they were at least a little away.
'Just fell, but thanks for that Charlie. Wouldn't have done it without you.'
She smiled grimly, and lifted her sword from where it fell.
I could sense the cold from it even here, and it was obvious she was able to handle herself from her on in. I smiled back at her, and turned away, already running.
'Hope you survive!' I called to her over my shoulder.
Oh well. She seemed okay. Maybe she would.
A monster flew in front of me, sent flying by another girl who looked just as petite as Buffy had. She laughed, already advancing, and I redirected in time to send an arrow straight through another Empousa's skull.
Well I suppose I asked for interesting. And this was certainly interesting.

The Empousa threw me to the ground, and my sword clattered to the ground. Crap. Now I was most definitely monster meat.
I turned to face my death... only to see an arrow hit the creature and see it explode into dust all over me.
'Name?' a voice asked, feminine, and I told her.
She asked me was I okay, and I stood, picking my sword up and told her I was.
Then she left, her parting words "Hope you survive".
Well jeez. That was a little mean. But I suppose, no-one was sure were they going to survive this.
Anya just killed a monster she was toying with when she noticed me.
'Buffy!' she cried, running over.
'You should get outta here,' I said to the girl I thought of as a Sister.
'And leave you? Jeez B. I thought you knew me better than that. I'm here till the end,' she was so stubborn. But I couldn't fight with her. We need every person we can get.
'Stay. But stay away from the heavy attacks. Stay to the sidelines.'
The brown haired girl look incredulous, but finally nodded.
'But where are you fighting?' she asked me.
'Anya. I'm fighting where they need me most.'
I turned then , ready to get back into the fight, but she pulled me back and held me close.
Then she let me out of the tight hug, and smiled sadly.
'Hey B? Be prepared. And don't die, K? Cause that would suck.'
The she turned away from me and jogged into the forest.
Anya. She thought something was gonna happen. Wow. It was starting to sink in now. I might die. She might die. We might both die. Wow. Scary.
I shook the thought, and started to run back into the fight.

I ran away from Buffy, actually not sure anymore.
She wanted me to stick to the sidelines. And I would, because she asked. But I might never see her again. And she may never see me again. This was to much. Much to much.
Slowing to a walk, I prepared for any attack, from wherever it may come from. This could be my last day. Ha. End of days.
Buffy could be in trouble. So could Auburn. And Angelus, the strange girl I had met for the very first time today.
'Screw this,' I muttered, turning back, and starting my run again.

I slaughtered an empousai with my sword.I had been fighting for a bit now,but I hadn't encountered too many monsters yet.In fact,the bulk of my time had been spent trying to find some of the damn things.The monster had disintegrated but I had already gone running.I noticed a girl a distance away.I began to run sort of closer,like,in her general direction, figuring I'd see if she needed any help.
