| With a push of his finger, the final corner of the poster is tacked into the far side of the Hephaestus cabin wall, opposite the door. It's a big white paper with dozens of lines on it, and a number by each line, counting up from 1. Grayson slides across the floor over to a work bench, and scavenges around for a pen, he returns with the utensil uncapped, and slowly goes over his name, trying to be as neat as possibly, on the first line.
1. Grayson Bates
A smile plays at the corners of his lips, and he tries to contain his pride for the poster. It's a cabin count, obviously, as it says on the top of the page in big black letters, and it's for all Hephaestus cabin kids to record their names. A list will make team events easier to organize, and Grayson definitely wanted to see some more team events. His first thought was a game of dodgeball, the cabin being divided into two teams. He'd go out later, spray paint boundaries onto the battlefield, and then the teams could participate with plenty of space. But before anything, he needed to know how many Hephaestus kids he'd be working with.
Grayson stuck the pen on a desk next to the poster, took a step back to survey his work, and finally spun and skipped out of the cabin with enthusiasm.
ooc// SIGNING UP IS MANDATORY. Each member who wishes to participate in Hephy events needs to sign up on the cabin count, or otherwise it'll upset the balance. If you have multiple Hephaestus children, sign them all up. Number them one more than the previous member, and keep the list accurate. Hopefully we all know how to count. :P You can sign up in or out of character, I have no preference. Just make sure that the application is easy to spot. Put it in a difference color or make it bigger or something. I'll create a master post in another topic to record all who sign up their character(s). DO NOT REPLY TO THAT TOPIC. Please fill out the simple application here instead, to keep things tidy. Thanks. C:

| Cameron walked into his cabin, sweaty from working in the forges. He saw a large white sheet of paper that wasn't there before. He walked over to it and saw that it was for a cabin count. He picked up the pen from the desk and wrote on the sheet of paper

He capped the pen, and walked over to his bunk. He opened up the part of the dresser that was his, and grabbed the little bit of scrap metal he needed and walked back out, heading back to where he came from. | |

You would have had to make a character for the Hephaestus Cabin when you have done that and it has been accepted you take the next available number.
