Madeline stepped out of the shower, and re-dressed herself. Unlocking the door, she tied her hair up in a messy bun. She walked over to the glass table where breakfast was put out. She had ordered room service earlier because she was just too lazy to dress up and walk out. Andrew was getting dressed, but she wasn't going to wait. Mostly because who knew how long he took to get dressed. She didn't feel hungry, and looking at the oil on the eggs, she felt a bit sick, but this was supposed to be gourmet food...

Andrew slipped on his jeans and a dark blue t-shirt in the bathroom. He had taken a shower after what happened last night. OPening the bathroom door, Andrew saw that Madeline had ordered some food. Grinning, Andrew grabbed and apple and started eating, watching Madeline.

Madeline noticed that he was watching her, and she looked up, her mouth full of food. She was pigging out, and it wasn't something most people saw in her. She chewed the remaining pieces of food and asked, "What?". She felt her cheeks burning up because she realised how awkward the situation was. She was scarfing down food, and he was looking at her a smiling. She looked around, trying to avoid eye contact, but she just couldn't take her eyes off of him. Not after last night.

Andrew chuckled and shook his head, taking another bit of the apple. "Nothing. Can't look at you?" Andrew asked her with his eyebrow raised. Yet, he smirked thinking of last night. Before he could say something smart, a loud knocking came from the door. A look of confusion crossed his face. WHo would be knocking on the door at the time of day?

Madeline blushed a deep shade of red. Almost like a tomato. Then she thought of last night. It was awkward, and she couldn't look at him the same way. She usually got everything over with and made a quick exit. She looked at the door, getting up. "I'll open it." she said, walking over to the door in her white flats. When she opened the door, she felt something cold hit her forehead, and she looked, there was a gun, with a burly looking man holding it. Madeline stood there, looking at the tall man blankly.

"Where the hell is the kid." he demanded.
"What kid?"
"Don't play games with me, you little-" He was cut off.

Madeline punched him in the stomach, but instead of taking the hit, he stopped her fist, and twirled her around, grabbing onto her neck, holding the gun against the side of her head. He looked over at Andrew. "Where. Is. The. Kid." He growled.

Andrew jumped startled from what had happened in about 3.3 seconds. He looked at the man, who cocked the gun, pressing the barrel into Madeline's head. Andrew raised his hands up, getting on his knees.

"Look man, we have no kid-"

"Where is the kid!?" The man asked again angrily, holding onto Madeline tighter. Confusion crossed Andrew's face again, not understanding what the man was getting at. BEfore the man could do or say something, Andrew took his gun out and shot the man once in the head. The man, dead, fell to the floor. Andrew rushed over, wrapping his arms around Madeline, looking down at the man.

"What the hell?" Andrew said quietly, wondering who the man was.

Madeline rubbed her neck, a red mark on it, but other than that, she would be fine. "Wait, we have to get rid of him." she grumbled. She picked up Andrew's gun and shot the window, then she screamed, calling for help. Her face wore an expression of fear. When one of the staff arrived, she pointed to the body, shaking. "H-H-He..." she stuttered, crying into Andrew's chest.

The middle aged man, called security, and soon, the police arrived. They had asked many questions, and The hotel gave them a 80% discount on everything, also moving them into a different room. It was pretty much the same, but she could use the extra money for something else. Like a new bag, perhaps? When she shut the door to the new room, she smirked. "Good job." she said in Ancient Greek, knowing that nobody would understand what they were talking about.

Andrew rolled his eyes at Madeline. He wondered what Madeline was going to do with the money. As long as Andrew got half, then he would okay with that. "You are a great actress," Andrew told her smirking, heading off to the bathroom. When Andrew opened the door, he saw something in the bathtub. Slowly walking over, he saw a small child sleeping in the bathtub, holding onto a blanket and some piece of paper. A look of confusion crossed Andrew's face.

Leaning over, Andrew picked up the sleeping boy in his arms and walked out towards Madeline. "I don't think this came with our room," Andrew said, smirking a bit. He looked down at the boy. He had blonde hair that was sticking up in many places. He was sleeping and stirred a bit in Andrew's arms.

Madeline handed Andrew a 1000$ cheque, and stuffed into his back pocket, "Take it, I still have enough from raiding this guy's beach house last year." she told him, leaving her suitcase against a wall. When Andrew carried the kid and smirked, she looked at the kid, and back. The kid looked exactly like him. "She took the piece of paper from the boy's hand, and wondered if Andrew had accidentally knocked up someone.

It was a birth certificate and a will. She skimmed over the date of birth, but stopped at the kid's name. Anton Barak. Barak. Madeline looked down on the sheet, trying to find the names of the kid's parents. I couldn't be. She read the names out loud, "Father... Anthony Barak... and his mother is.... Renee Arabella." she said, staring at the sheet with her eyes wide. This had to be some kind of mistake. Since when did her stepmother have a kid? Unless... that one year when Madeline was shipped off to boarding school.

"He's... he's our half brother." she whispered, her face pale.

Andrew paled at what Madeline just told him. Ew. Oh gods. Him and Madeline like did it last night. The color from Andrew's face paled and his arms stiffened. "Wait. But like, uh," Andrew tried to get he words out. He hoped Madeline knew what he was trying to say. Looking down at the boy, Andrew's arms felt like jelly. The kid almost fell out of his arms, but Andrew caught him before he hit the ground.

The kid's eyes opened, revealing that they were blue, just like Andrew's eyes. The boy blinked and sat up in Andrew's arms, clinging onto him. "Uh.." Andrew got out, stumbling over to the bed.

Holding the will, not reading it yet, she stood there. Completely idle and not willing to move. Her eye twitched as she realised what that meant. She felt like throwing up, and looked at the kid. His eyes were exactly like her stepmother's. Like Madeline's, but a bit brighter. The colour of the boy's green eyes would let him pass as a son of Poseidon, actually.

The small boy looked at Madeline and grinned, "Mommy!" he yelled. Madeline raised an eyebrow, questioning what the boy had just yelled out. "She kneeled down, holding the boy by the collar of his shirt. "Look, kid. I'm not your mother. I don't know you. I've never seen you in my life." she said glaring at the small boy.

Andrew rolled his eyes. Typically of Madeline to do that. How shocking. Andrew pulled Madeline back, making her let go of the kid's collar. "Relax, he's just a kid," Andrew whispered in her ear before kneeling at the boy's height. The small boy hid his face behind his blanket, his blue/green eyes peeking on top of the blanket.

"What's your name?" Andrew asked the small boy, raising an eyebrow. Andrew shot a glance at Madeline and shrugged. It wasn't Andrew's kid. Why should he care though? Not his baby. "Ethan," the boy answered, almost whispering, inching closer to Andrew for protection.

Madeline finished reading the will. "We're supposed to take care of him." she handed Andrew the papers. "We're his legal guardians. Our parents left us a beach house in Los Angeles, a penthouse apartment in downtown New York, and about 10 million dollars." she told him, looking over at the kid. She understood why the guy wanted the kid. They thought the kid had the money. She almost shook her head at their stupidity.

The boy hugged Andrew, and started tearing up. "Is she going to kill me?" the kid asked Andrew, looking over at Madeline. Madeline rolled her eyes. She couldn't kill him, she would probably be arrested, considering the kid was only three. She wanted to say something, but even she knew it wasn't appropriate.

Andrew took the papers from Madeline's hand and read it over. Well, Madeline didn't lie. But, 10 million dollars. Andrew's blue eyes looked over the boy, realizing that he was worth a lot of money. NO wonder that weird guy wanted him.

Yet, Andrew smirked at what the boy said. "No, she isn't going to kill you. Just don't get her upset," Andrew whispered in the boy's ear, yet loud enough so Madeline could hear. He knew that would piss her off a bit. Andrew sat down on the bed, the boy still wrapped around him.

"What do we do with him?" Andrew asked Madeline, unsure what to do really. Would they take the boy back to camp or what?

Madeline raised an eyebrow at him as if to say 'really'? She shrugged, biting her lip. She didn't want to be walking around with a child in her hands. It just didn't seem right. People would think she was a teenage mother or something. She sighed, looking at his worn and dirtied clothes. She bent down, examining the child as if he were some kind of car or something. "We should go and buy him some new clothes." she said, voicing her thoughts.

The girl didn't know the first thing about taking care of children as a baby sitter, much less a guardian. She didn't know what to do, honestly. It was so like her stepmother to keep a child away from her. Letting Madeline be chased by a bunch of strange men. She could have more of them to worry about that, now.

Andrew shrugged at Madeline, not really knowing what to do with the kid. He never babysat a kid. Not really knowing what he was doing, Andrew sat the small boy down the bed, watching him with his dark blue eyes. The boy hid his face behind the blanket, his beautiful eyes only being seen.

"Where do you buy a kid clothes though? Does Walmart count?" Andrew asked Madeline, not knowing where kids clothes was sold.

Madeline raised an eyebrow at Andrew. "First of all, Walmart is where I wouldnever shop. Second of all, we're going to a mall. You just better hope I don't chop anyone's head off." she grumbled. She honestly didn't enjoy the mall. To many people and sales. Sales were absolutely dreadful. She planned on going to H&M because it was the only place that she could think of that sold something the kid would wear. Unless thy made a trip to Barney's, but that would need to be saved for another time.

She looked over at the frightened child. She couldn't care less for such a useless child, but Andrew would never let her throw the kid out. No matter what. She grumbled mentally in protest. Of course, she didn't want anyone to know of her disatisfaction, but anyone could guess. Most would just let her warm up to the child. As if.

Andrew rolled his eyes at Madeline. So pushy and pissed off at nothing. His blue eyes looked over at the small child, seeing if he was dressed okay to go out. In Andrew's eyes, the kid looked fine.

Pulling out his wallet, Andrew counted at like like five hundred dollars. He hoped that would be enough for clothes. But knowing Madeline and her expensive taste, it probably wouldn't be enough. "Shouldn't we feed him first though? We don't even know how long this kid has been hiding. Or waiting," Andrew said to Madeline, setting the kid on the bed. The small boy whimpered and pointed to his stomach which growled. Then, he gave Madeline a small puppy face. Andrew couldn't help but smirk. Maybe this kid knew how to play his cards.

She grabbed her keys and twirled them around her finger. "Look, we can get some food on the way there. But if you want anything, the mall's closing in four hours. If we're shopping fir a wardrobe, we have to hurry up." she said, walking off and giving in. She looked around in her suitcase for a decent outfit, not wanting to go to the mall at all. Especially because anyone could go there. She liked shops, boutiques, but not malls. Malls were for people who wanted to share the same air as a few thousand other people. She heard the kid speak quietly to Andrew, "You're my stepbrother?" he asked.

To be honest, the kid was cute. But cute wasn't going to cut it. He had to be decent enough to be able to watch her mindlessly kill someone. And id he couldn't, she wasn't the right person to be taking care of him at all. She looked in the envelope, staring at the keys. The keys to a beach house and apartment. She smiled at the possibilities. But they would need to go paint shopping and everything. She could finally get her own room, decorate it, make it her own. And best of all, barely a shopping budget. She had to go off to college sooner or later, but for now, she could piggyback off of the inheritance. Or possibly start modeling.
