Full Name: Jimmy Joseph Lance Nickname? J.J (Used only by people extremely close to him, namely John the Satyr) Age: 6 Years Old, Born 15th June Gender: Male Godly Parent: Apollo, Ἀπόλλων, god of music, poetry, plague, oracles, sun, medicine, light and knowledge. Claimed? Yes Family: Anita Lance (Deceased) Years in Camp? One Brief History: Jimmy was born to Anita Lance, a musician, in Sacramento, California. She had attracted the god Apollo with her obvious musical skill. But, being a god, Apollo left her, pregnant, and alone. Jimmy was born, and Anita hastened to find him a suitable father. The music industry, which was already a hard career path, got even harder with a son, and she failed to find someone. She became desperate, and met a man.
He seemed nice. He didn't strike Anita as all that amazing, but she took it down to the fact that no 'mortal' relationship could never match one with a god. Stressed, he seemed far greater and nicer than he really was. They got married, and the man showed his true colours. He was never the nicest, but Anita couldn't see this, and now he had become far worse. They got money, and they lived in a house, but regular abuse and alcohol made it an awful experience for Anita. Still, she kept on living with him, for her son, Jimmy, who was continuing to grow.
Five years since the birth of Jimmy, his step-father came home drunk, a band of his friends along with him. The five year-old was still awake, and saw a rare happy moment between his two parents; both of them dancing around, and singing together. Then, he went to bed. The party continued late into the night, to the point where one of the guests got hungry, asking for some eggs. Anita refused to make eggs, due to alcohol causing her to feel depressed, and this resulted into an argument, every part of which heard by Jimmy, crying silently in his bed.
The argument continued, until his step-father punched his wife. He physically abused her, leaving her battered and bloody. He raped her, and continued to abuse her after for her unwillingness to "join in." With a severe head injury, Anita died. Jimmy woke up in the morning, nearly forgetting about it, boundin downstairs to get his usual hug from his mummy. Instead, what he saw was his mother's corpse. Like any six year-old, he cried. But, as a demigod, he impulsively ran away.
With help from his father, he made it as far as Denver alone, by sheer luck coming across that which kept him alive. He met a Satyr, named John, and developed a close bond with him. John took him to Camp Half-Blood, tutoring him along the way in use of his brand new dagger. John left him when they arrived at Camp, leaving him both sad and confused. But, he soon immersed himself in Camp life, and eventually, after a year, somehow became the Apollo Cabin Leader, sharing his ideas and candy with everyone. Physical Appearance: Jimmy stands at around a metre tall. The Camp Half-Blood diet has made him a healthy weight, and has given him a relatively healthy looking body for a boy his age. He has extremely small feet, compared to those around him, and has well-tanned skin.
His eye colour is a bright blue, the colour of the clear sky. Around the middle, it specks in a white colour, and finally has a ring of dark blue around the circumference of it. In some lights, they appear to glow like bright blue orbs. His hair is blonde, and straight, coming out from the centre of the top of his head, where it is nearly brown. As it progresses down, it gets blonder and blonder, until it reaches the stereotypical blonde shade.
Jimmy doesn't care for clothing, and isn't out to impress anyone, so really just wears whatever he picks out first. But, he does have favourites, which he wears often. These, with their constant use, are always at the top of his drawers, and those that he dislikes are at the bottom. With his personality, he almost always has a large beaming grin upon his face. His appearance, though he is oblivious to it, often causes older people to find him 'cute.' Personality: His personality, in one word, is bubbly. Often hyper, he is constantly moving, and unceasingly optimistic with everything. He has a tiny attention span, his mind or body often wandering off to do whatever attracts his attention. Along with this, he his dangerously trusting, seeing the best in people, and oblivious to most faults. He constantly seems happy, and truly is. He likes to feel liked, and so will try and be nice to everyone he can. If he find he just can't be nice to a person, because they're a "poop," he's likely to just break down and cry.
Jimmy loves candy, and enjoys swimming and soccer to a huge extent. He loves music, and everything involved in it, and will never halt if an opportunity to show off his Michael Jackson dance moves arises. If an opportunity to partake in one or more of these activities comes up, he's likely to drop everything to do it, another example of his short attention span.
If you hurt Jimmy, or refuse him what he loves, he will have a tantrum. It's one of his talents, having tantrums, though it's probably not his best. He's never really grown out of the whole toddler tantrum stage, and will fall on the floor, making noise, and banging his head on things. It takes a while to calm him down. For a while after, he'll seem extremely cold and unlike himself to the person that caused it, but, as part of his personality, he has trouble staying like this, and will eventually forgive them. Fatal Flaw? Trust - Jimmy tends to trust most people, though it might be because of his age. It could quite possibly be the end of him. Pets: Jimmy has a pet mouse, who he can talk to and converse with with ease, who he named Mickey, after Mickey Mouse. Talents: Jimmy has the ability to talk to mice, as well as create small balls of light. Weapons: Celestial Bronze Dagger Year-Round or Summer? Year-Round

Full Name: Daniel "Dan" Tyler Gender: Male Age: Born on the 25th of September, Daniel is aged 16. Godly Parent: Daniel's father is Hermes, Ἑρμῆς, god of commerce, thieves, travellers, sports, athletes, border crossings, fish, guide to the Underworld and Messenger of the Gods. Claimed? Daniel, like so many of his peers, had his claiming by the Camp Fire, just before they began to roast s'mores. Years at Camp? With his mother having trouble with commitment, Daniel was dumped at Camp Half-Blood when he was six. It was a surprisingly long time after he was born that she dumped him, considering her track record, which shows that, despite her issues, she does have a heart. Or did. He has no idea whether she's still alive or not. So far, he's been at Camp for ten years. Family: John Tyler was Daniel's grandfather. He started the thievery thing in the family. He spent his earlier adult life thieving from a variety of places, priding himself in his ability to do it in a way that mocked his victims. As he got older, he became far more mature, and became an honest working man. Mary Tyler was his step-grandmother. She died when Daniel was fifteen. She was much closer to Daniel than his own mother was. These two remained in contact with their grandson, but had a falling out with his mother.
His mother's name is Donna Tyler, and she inherited the mischievous trait. While not going down the thievery path, she made money out of various deals that usually left her better off than the other person. Working in various places around New York, she eventually sobered up, for a while being an honest person. That was until she became short on money, stealing from her employer and catching the eye of Hermes. History: As a young woman, Donna Tyler attracted Hermes' attention after stealing money from her employer in New York City. As a man, he fell in love with her, and she him. After she made it quite clear she didn't want a commitment, despite her love, which was extremely convenient for him, he told her of the existence of the gods, and his own true identity. To this, Donna just kind of went, "Cool!" and proceeded to sleep with him, landing herself pregnant with Hermes' godly fertility powers.
He left shortly after, leaving Donna to discover, on her own, that she would be having a baby, which did not sit well with her. Despite this, she didn't get an abortion, and did her best to live a normal parenting life. This didn't last very long, and she soon grew restless of having to take care of her son. She wanted to live, she wanted to have fun, and she wanted to trick people. Still, it was surprisingly long that she lasted. When Daniel was six, after six years of less-than-affectionate caring, she drove him to the address Hermes had provided in a business card shortly after his birth. Camp Half-Blood.
With Daniel crying, she left him on the side of the road, and it began to rain. He walked up the hill, to where the pine tree stood, and curled under it, to see Camp glowing in the distance. And it wasn't raining. Still dark, but not raining. And he could hear them! Singing, coming from what looked like a building he'd seen it books. It was then that he figured that he'd been abandoned on the side of the road by his mother, so she probably didn't want him. He walked to the big building, to the surprise of many campers, and was claimed shortly after, just before a few Campers were about to throw him out (despite many of the others pleas).
From then on, he lived at Camp Half-Blood, bringing us to today.
But what happened to his mother? Well, she got what she wished. She was free. She partied, she stole, she did shady deals. Everything she ever wanted, with falling out with all her family and losing a son included. She went to jail later on, too, but was released, and is currently doing her best to redeem herself, and be a normal member of society, just like her father did. Physical Appearance: Daniel stands at 5'9", and is quite tall. He has quite small feet compared to his peers, and an average-length face, shaped like an oval. He wears clothes that might be considered fashionable, but wears them in an extremely lazy way. His hair is shaggy and, grows in a thick and messy tuft. He styles it, and keeps it cut quite short. The colour is similar to the trunk of an old oak tree, brown and alternating (though not drastically) from darker to lighter shades.
His eyes are a blue colour, like deep salt water. They aren't very noticeable, unless you stare into them directly. They're just normal eyes. He has an athletic body, an appearance coming from Hermes, with him being the messenger of the Gods and all. That took a lot of running, something Daniel is good at. When he grins, it goes right up to his ears, and leaves people wondering whether he's tricking you, or just really happy. It's a truly mischievous smile that gives the impression that he's about to steal something from you, but it's okay because it, and life, is all just one big joke. It's hard to take him seriously when he smiles. Personality: Daniel is very close to having the typical Hermes personality; mischievous, playful, light-hearted. He is definitely mischievous. When he sees a chance, he'll be sure to at least try to steal something from you, providing it looks like something he'd like to have. He often talks back to you with a dry and sarcastic sense of humour, which can chance from sincere friendliness to coldness in an instant. He is playful, too.
Being left at Camp Half-Blood alone made him highly independent, and has an unwillingness to trust anyone fully. He was confused for most of his childhood as to why he was left, and eventually that turned into a deep down inadequate feeling that is partially why he chooses to act up all the time. Plus, he finds it fun. If he ever got the opportunity to meet his mother, he'd turn it down. He just doesn't want to see her, and wants to stay as far away from her as possible. She clearly didn't want him, so he wasn't going to burden her with himself. It meant that he was the nice one, too.
He's a troublemaker, and enjoys to steal, and prank, and has since he was left at Camp. In recent years, they've become more dramatic, and have gotten further and further from leaving a whoopee cushion on someone's chair. Talents: - Stealing / Pulling Pranks - Long distance running and sprinting Powers: Daniel doesn't have any powers, and all things he inherited from Hermes are displayed in his appearance and personality. Fatal Flaw? He can get extremely cocky, and probably wouldn't back down if angered. He'll do anything he can to prove himself. Pets: None. Year-Round or Summer? Year-Round. Other: His colour is #FFCC00.

Character you're applying for: Nico di Angelo, the Ghost King, Son of Hades; God of Death, Wealth, and Lord of the Underworld, "The Unseen," ᾍδης.
Appearance: Nico has an often messy appearance. He doesn't really care about how he looks, which makes his hair and attire in general un-kept. He has remarkably pale skin, that has the appearance of once being tanned. Sickly, is how some would put it. His clothes, too, are messy, and are clearly never folded.
His hair is dark-brown, but rarely shows this, appearing pitch black in most lights. It only shows as dark-brown when the light directly hits it. It has a silky quality to it, but is unkept and messy. Nico never combs this, and certainly doesn't often wash it.
Nico's eyes are often the most memorable part of his appearance. Dark brown, they glint in away that implies he is either a genius or a madman. They are intimidating, and people often find it hard to stare into them for too long, always walking away with a strange feeling that they themselves were going mad. With people, these eyes are the centre of Nico's power. When angered, they appear to radiate everything that ever happened to Nico; the death of his sister, his lost life, the loss of his mother. The essence of these pulled into two circles, directed at you.
His clothes have a set colour scheme: black. Never will you find him in anything colourful. Nico always wears his leather aviator jacket, and has for his whole life, possibly from distant WWII relatives. It is far too big for him, but he is slowly growing into it. He has a silver skull ring, and wears a silver chain belt around his usually ripped jeans. On this, he carries his Stygian iron sword.
Personality: Nico di Angelo started out as a happy, inquisitive boy. A bit of a nerd, he enjoyed playing with Mythomagic Cards, and showed immediate excitement at learning he was a demigod. He didn’t really take it seriously, at first, thinking it a bit of a cool perk. Nico was happy, though he had no family. He enjoyed his life with his sister. That was, at least, until her death. At first, idolizing Percy, he blamed him for her death. He held a grudge. Along with this, he became sullen and depressed -- a change that would last. Upon learning he was a son of Hades, he became more and more like the god.
Today, Nico is remarkably strong-willed. He is solitary, and doesn’t like to keep company. He believes he can’t, because of his parentage. “Only the dead respect me… and only out of fear,” he said. He spends more time with the death than he ever does with the living. He doesn’t let himself. Nico retains a grim outlook on life, pointing out the worst scenarios in everything. He seems constantly in a bad mood, but, truly, he can be happy. Having missed so much of his childhood, small things he missed can excite him, and turn him into the bubbly young boy he once was.
History: Sometime in the 1930's, Nico di Angelo was born to Hades and his mother, Maria de Angelo. Together, they had already sired his sister; Bianca de Angelo. Though no oath had been sworn at this time, their birth angered Zeus, who destroyed the hotel they were staying at with lightning. While Maria died, Hades managed to protect the two siblings, and, realizing the danger, he sent them to the Lotus Hotel and Casino, where they stayed until 2007. After this long period of around 67 years, Hades sent one of his furies, Alecto, disguised as a lawyer to get them out. They became Hades' pawn of the games, and were bathed in the river Lethe to wipe their memories. He and his sister lived in Washington DC, before they were sent to Westover Hall, a military school in Maine.
Here, they were sought out by Grover, making the pair the third and fourth Big Three Demigod for Grover to discover. He could tell that they were remarkably powerful, yet unknown, and a team of Percy, Annabeth, and Thalia were sent out to collect them. This plan failed, however, as a Manticore, known as Dr. Thorn, attempted to kidnap Nico and Thalia, to take them to Kronos. They were unable to stop the powerful Manticore, and they were only saved by the Huntresses of Artemis. Nico met his first Goddess; Artemis.
He was at first interested in the Huntresses, but that soon changed when Bianca made the choice to join the Huntresses, and be forever young. Nico, angry at her for 'abandoning' him, became sullen and depressed. When he learnt that Bianca would be going on the quest to rescue Annabeth, he resorted to eavesdropping, listening as she and Zoe spoke in the dark. At this point, he convinced Percy, also wandering in the dark, to promise to keep his sister safe.
Nico learnt only after the quest of the fate of his sister, who had died while stopping one of Hephaustus' automatons. He turned on Percy, believing it his fault; he had promised to keep her safe, at whatever cost. Whatever cost. Percy tried to comfort him, but Nico turned him down, claiming he could, "Feel her soul being judged." At this point, several skeleton warriors came out of the forest. Percy moved to fight them, but Nico merely yelled, "Go away!" at them, and a large fissure opened in the ground, cracking part of the dining pavilion, and causing them to fall into it, going back to Hades where they came from. Nico ran into the forest. Percy noticed the Hades Mythomagic statue on the ground, and realized that Nico must be a son of Hades.
From this point onward, Nico disappeared from the face of the earth. He showed adept hiding skills, as no one could find him. During this time, he searched for stories of his mother, and planned his revenge on Percy. Eventually he found King Minos, who taught him how to use his powers as a son of Hades. Using these powers, he learnt to summon the dead, but failed to summon Bianca many times. He sought out a new way, to bring her back for good; a soul for a soul. He sought one who had cheated death, one to trade for Bianca's. His journey brought him to the Triple G Ranch.
He was staying at the Triple G Ranch in order to discuss how to get to the soul he wanted; Daedalus. However, in a strike of pure luck, Percy, Annabeth, Tyson, and Grover also arrive at the ranch. He threatened them, but was stopped by Geyron before he could do anything. Geyron tied him up, revealing he was planning to sell him to the Titan Army. Percy offered a deal to Geyron in order to get Nico back, but Nico said he didn't want his help, still blaming him for the death of Bianca. Percy saves him anyway, and convinces him to try summoning Bianca again.
With the presence of Percy, Bianca willingly comes up to greet Nico. Bianca told Nico that he shouldn't be angry at Percy, because it was in his nature, and the nature of Hades, to hold a grudge. It was his fatal flaw. She told him that he was really angry at her, but then discovers that Kronos felt his presence, and disappeared.
Percy and friends left the Ranch, and Nico decided to stay there, though Percy offered for him to go with them. Minos came back, and tricked him into going back into the maze, in order to save Percy, but is caught by two Dracanae working for Kronos. He arrives at Daedalus' Workshop, and is caught in the midst of the battle. King Minos again showed up, refusing to leave under Nico's command. He proclaimed that he did not control him, and it was he controlling Nico the whole time. He revealed that it would not be Bianca who re-emerged from Hades, but him. He, the Ghost King. Nico opened a fissure in the ground, proclaiming himself to be the Ghost King, and sending him back to the Underworld.
He tells Percy that he would never fit in; only the dead accepted him, and they did so out of fear. He escaped the workshop with Percy and Friends, into the Labyrinth once more. They find Kronos (at that point in Luke's body), and he pulled up a wall of black rock to save them. Kronos learnt he was a son of Hades.
He was there at the death of Pan, but was the only person present the God did not talk to. During the Battle of the Labyrinth, Nico released Daedalus' soul to the underworld, but chose that Bianca should stay there, instead of returning to the land of the living.
Sample Roleplay: The forest was a blur. Green, black. Behind him, Nico could still hear Percy yelling. “Nico! Come back!” they said. This was his home, they said. Home? Nico had no home. It was his fault. All Percy’s fault. Bianca was gone. She would never be coming back. And neither would he. He was going away, anywhere. He would never come back to camp.
Tears were flowing, flying off his face and behind him into the gloom. Nico tripped on a root, falling down onto the mat of decaying plant matter. He just cried more. It didn’t matter. Nothing could get worse. The yells had dimmed down, they were gone. He was probably off getting help. Help for Nico. They would think he was crazy. Crazy? No. Just smart. Getting away from there was the only thing that could help him.
Dusting off his jeans, Nico stood up, sobbing. He didn’t need to run anymore. They would never find him. They didn’t care anyway. He walked into a clearing, the moon revealing a high monolith of rock, stretching high like a fist coming out of the ground. Kind of like a zombie, coming out from a grave beneath. Nico wandered over to it, hand running along the rugged stone. He couldn’t handle this. His only family was gone. How would he live… alone?
He collapsed onto the ground, head tucked between his legs. He sobbed. He was shaking. His breathing was out of control. And he fell. Evidently there was some cave beneath the rocks, the light barely shining through. Nico frowned, wiping the tears of his face. It seemed like a corridor. Perfect for hiding, at least. And where there was a corridor, there is a room. A secret hideout! Nico stopped himself. He couldn’t be a kid anymore. Not now. He was walking down it… to investigate the unknown elements of this corridor, and to find a safe location to hide. Right? Right.
So he did that, cautiously wandering down, half leaning against the chiselled walls. He was still sobbing, but silently, the tears flowing slowly. He had to control himself. He had to grow up. He was his own parent now. He was looking after himself. What? The wall had stopped. It was a dead end. Did it turn… left? Yes. Nico followed the wall further, turning whatever way it made him. Eventually, it took him to a circular room. A fountain. He chose a doorway at random, and continued, down an earthy pathway. Next, delicately tiled. What was this?
Nico walked until he could no longer. He was hungry, and alone. Who was he kidding? He couldn’t do this. He was a kid. Again, this kid sobbed on the ground, wallowing in his self-pity, his grief. He was pathetic. “… why so sad?”
Nico’s head shot up. “Wh-who are you?” he demanded, shakily. There was a voice. But where was the body? Nico couldn’t see anyone, or anything, in the gloom.
“I am a King, Child,” the voice spoke clearly, yet icily, “I’m sure I am well within the power to help you, if you would just tell me what troubles you.”
Nico was scared. He had to prove he was strong, somehow. He didn’t want to die… but, then, he would be with Bianca… but, no, death… was horrible. “King? King of what? A king wouldn’t be in a tunnel!” he responded to the voice, trying to mask his fear.
“You’re scared,” the voice said curtly, “I shan’t kill you, I believe you will find I cannot touch you…” and, from the gloom, it revealed itself.
“Y-yo-you’re a ghost!” Nico exclaimed, scrambling back into the shadows of the wall.
“Well done, son of Hades,” King Minos said coolly, “I think you’ll find we get along quite nicely… Welcome to my labyrinth, child.”
Nico stared at this ‘King,’ running his dark eyes over him. His pale face was proud, cunning. It was long, and showed a curled, smug smile. His shoulder length brown hair was pulled into a ponytail, and his head topped with a golden crown. He wore golden robes, reaching down to the ground. This was, for sure, a King. “S-son of Hades?” Nico stuttered, “No no nope no! I can’t be! But… the… fissure. Ah! No…”
He sat down again, covering his face with his hands. “I can’t be.”
NOTE: I realize, and only did after beginning to write this, that this may or may not fit in with the plotline. This requires an assumed version where King Minos is able to haunt the Labyrinth. Somehow. I am not sure. Just roll with it, ‘kay?

The Graveyard
these are ones I either killed or got bored with
Hunter Bohr:
Hunter Bohr Gender: Male Age: Aged fourteen, he was born on the third of March. Godly Parent: Ares Claimed? Yes. Family: Hunter is a single child, and raised by his Mother, Mary Bohr. Occupation: New arrival. History: Mary Bohr was fresh out of high school when she decided to go on an OE. With no money, she hitch hiked around the country, before turning her head to the border of Mexico. So, on the side of a Houston road, she stuck her thumb out, to be approached by a tough looking man on a motor bike. He tells her, that, in exchange for her own time, he'd take her to the border.
Mary didn't trust the man, and so resolved to trick him when they got to the border. This trickery was found out by Ares, who easily stopped her. Amused, he raped her, telling her his identity, before disappearing. Nine months later, Mary gave birth to Hunter, in the USA, having given up her travel plans. She also gave up her college plans, and worked at a supermarket.
Hunter was raised strictly atheist, and was encouraged to seek scientific knowledge. He became extremely intelligent, and he knew it. It made him ignorant, obnoxious, and obsessive over manners, cleanliness general facts.
All was good, until around when Hunter turned twelve, when monsters started to attack. They began small, but increased in number and strength through the span of two years. During this time, Mary Bohr starting drinking to forget her experiences, and became an addict. Eventually, Mary was taken into rehab, and Hunter into a foster home.
Hunter refused, and, believing he was smart enough to survive on his own, ran away, only to be attacked. Refusing to believe the things that attacked him existed, he ran, following a mysterious red light that appeared in front of him. It guided him to places he could find food, and shelter, until it took him to Camp Half Blood... Physical Appearance: Hunter is extremely tall for his age, and has a neck somewhat reminiscent of a turtle. Though having the capability of being extremely strong, being a son of Ares, he is skinny and pale from staying inside all day. He has black hair, and dark brown eyes that sometimes appear red when angered, like embers in a fire. Liking to collect t-shirts, he is usually clad in one, with simple jeans. Personality: Hunter is a very logical person, and has trouble reading emotions (and acting to them). Sarcasm is confusing for him, and takes everything literally. From attempting to grow up too fast, he has several young childlike qualities that come out when with close friends (but, having none, this is not often), along with a more affectionate personality. He has OCD, and will clean any dirt he finds, disinfecting most things he owns regularly. Upon grammatical mistakes, he will correct them. Hunter also hates human contact, deeming it unsanitary. He will always put in random (and, to other people useless) facts and remarks into conversations. Talents: Hunter possesses an eidetic memory, and thus will remember most things he sees or hears, unless he deems these things 'unworthy' of his time. Powers: None. Fatal Flaw? Hubris. Hunter knows he's smarter than everyone, leading to a huge ego, and thus believing he can do better than everyone. Tied with his OCD, it means he will clean for people, and also do their work for them (which is something that some people like him for, and some don't). Pets: None. Year-Round / Summer? Year-Round.
Christopher Mylott:
Christopher 'Chris' Jason Mylott
Gender: Male. Age: Chris was born on the fourteenth of April, and is aged fourteen. Godly Parent: Tyche. Claimed? Yes. Family: Jason Mylott (Father) Alexis Mylott (nee Jones, Step-Mother) Stan Mylott (Grandfather) Margaret Mylott (nee Ferguson, Grandmother) History: Jason Mylott caught Tyche's attention when he won a forty-million dollar prize. She snuck her way into his life almost immediately, before leaving. Jason had no idea who she was, so when Chris was born she altered his memory and made him believe they had been together for long enough to have the child, and then she disappeared. Whilst raising Chris, Jason won another large cash prize and several other things.
But when Chris turned nine, he struck his first bit of bad luck, and Jason died. This put Chris in a depressed state. He had never had anything bad happen to him before, and that shocked him, as it was a new feeling, plus the fact his Father had died was probably what caused it. He ran away from his New York home, and was drawn to Camp Half-Blood. From then on he lived there, with quite a bit of money in his pocket. Physical Appearance: Chris looks very alike his father. His eyes are a earthy brown colour that is echoed in his hair. His tanned skin is freckle-less, except for a triangular-type formation on the side of his face, below his ear. His ears both have a not very visible earlobe. Chris' left ear has a small birthmark, shaped like a dome.
Personality: Chris is usually a nice guy. Usually. Sometimes, his good fortune can put him in very obnoxious moods, where he is a tad full of himself. Also sometimes, his very rare bad fortune can put him in irritable or extremely sad moods. His luck gives him a very high self-esteem, and it makes him a very happy person. This is why his bad luck gives him the opposite. Talents: Chris is not particularly good at sword fighting (but he can defend himself adequately), but sometimes can appear good because his Son of Tyche-ness can make his opponents miss. He's very good at luck-type games, as they're in his element. Powers: None. Fatal Flaw? As is said above, Chris can be very full of himself, which leads to carelessness. In a battle, this can be very bad. Pets: Chris owns a Border Collie dog, named Diesel. This dog is a puppy, as Chris got him very recently. Year-Round or Summer? Year-Round. Other:
Griffin Sawyer; adopted from Angel:
Griffin sighed as he stepped onto his families boat, which was docked at Staten Island. "Honey, what are you doing home ea- ...No..another school?" his mother asked, crossing her arms. Griffin nodded his head, looking up at his mother. "Yeah..." "What was it this time?" she asked, arching an eyebrow. Griffin rubbed the back of his neck. "They think I burned down the cafeteria..But I didn't! I swear! There was this weird...thing. I don't even know what it was and it attacked me and it breathed fire an-" "Griffin, you can't keep getting kicked out of schools! You have to get a good education and your father and I can't teach you because of you-" "Dyslexia and ADHD..I know.." he grumbled, staring out in the water. Griffin's mother opened her mouth to speak but shook her head and continued cooking. "So other than getting kicked out, what'd you do today?" she asked. Griffin frowned, his brow furrowing a bit. "Well...I learned about dominant and recessive genes in biology. It turns out an eye color like mine is very recessive and so are green eyes, like you have, and brown eyes, like dad has. Well...we had to fill out these diagrams that helped us figure out our genetic structure. And no matter how many different ways I tried it, there is no possible way for me to end up with blue eyes. I asked my teacher about it...and she asked if I was adopted.." he said, his voice trailed off as he looked curiously at his mother, who had stopped working. She let out a sigh and wiped her hands on a towel. "I knew you must figure it out eventually.." she said. "Figure what out? Mom, what's going on?" he asked, staring at her with bewilderment. Jody Sawyer sat beside her son, gently patting his knee. "Your father and I found you when you were only an infant..." she said. Griffin pushed her hand away, rising to his feet. "What do you mean 'found me'?" he demanded. "Well, it was quite peculiar actually..you just sort of appeared on our ship one day. You had been set at the base of out boat and we heard you crying. I still don't know how you got there but w-" "So my real parents are just...out there somewhere?!" he asked, obviously furious. Jody Sawyer cringed at her son's accusation, but nodded her head. She looked down at her feet but abruptly looked up when she heard footsteps. She saw her son leaving the boat and she hastily rose to her feet. "Griffin wait!" she called. But Griffin didn't answer. He just kept walking until he was out of sight.
Name: Griffin Bryce Sawyer Gender: Male Age: Sixteen years of age Birthday: July 21, 1994 Godly Parent: Pontos, primeval god of the sea, father of the fish and other sea creatures. Mortal Parent: His biological mother is unknown, but he has two foster parents. Jody and Jeffery Sawyer. Years at camp: First year Brief History: As a baby, Griffin was dumped into the ocean by someone. (Who it was remains unknown) Being a son of Pontos, even at that age, he had a strong connection to sea creatures. They rescued him, carrying him through the oceans to a nearby boat. That is when his parents, Jody and Jeffery found him. The couple lived on their boat that they simply let float through the ocean. Even at a young age, Jody and Jeffery knew there was something “special” about Griffin. He was able to hold his breath under water for unnatural amounts of time. When he came out of the water, he was almost dry as a bone. And sea creatures seemed to follow him and treat him like a prince. When Griffin reached the age where he would need to attend school, the couple began home schooling. However, they found that Griffin had extreme ADHD and dyslexia and they sailed their ship to the shores of Staten Island. They sent Griffin to a public school, which he was soon kicked out of. This tradition continued until he was about thirteen, when his parents attempted home schooling again. When Griffin was fifteen, his parents confessed that he was not their natural son. Griffin was furious and ran away. He set out trying to find his birth parents. However, he soon began being attacked by monsters. A satyr named Thistle found him and helped him to Camp, although Thistle lost his life saving Griffin. Physical appearance: Griffin stands at about 6’0” in height, being rather tall for his age. He has a slightly muscular build, but isn’t exactly the strongest person around. He has broad shoulders, long arms, short legs, and a long torso. His hands and feet are rather large, and he often gets comments on how oversized they appear to be. Griffin has an oval face with a strong, square jawline, slightly larger nose, and thin lips that often remain expressionless. His cheek bones are almost nonexistent and he has thick, bushy, dark eyebrows. Around his face is his usual stubble. He never lets it grow to a beard, but allowed a light layer of hair to cover his face most of the time. Griffin’s hair is longer. It covers most of his ears but stops there. It is brown in color, appearing lighter and darker in various places. It is wavy and obviously unbrushed. It flips out in random places on his head, but it doesn’t bother him. His bangs swoops across his forehead, curling and flipping like the rest of his hair. Griffin’s eyes are, by far, the most hypnotizing aspect to him. They appear as though someone took sea water and poured it into two orbs and gave them to Griffin as his eyes. Around is pupil is a sea green that eventually fades to a deep blue around the rim of his iris. His eyes are large, round and almond shaped. They seem to reflect light like water, almost flowing in a way that is mesmerizing when you stare at it. His eyes are framed by brown, thin, short lashes. Griffin has a tattoo of an anchor on his left, upper arm. It’s small and simple, yet describes him in a way. Griffin tends to wear basic clothing. He enjoys simple t-shirts and vests and jeans with whatever shoes he feels like wearing. Since Griffin isn’t very fashionable, he tends to wear simply his Camp Half-Blood t-shirt and a pair of jeans. However, if it’s a special occasion, he’ll attempt to dress up. Personality: Griffin tends to remain rather carefree. He, like the ocean, is a relaxed person. However, he can gets fits of anger that can be brought on rather suddenly. Griffin is very similar to the ocean, and is often described that way. Griffin tends to be generally calm. He doesn’t enjoy losing his temper and tries his best to stay relaxed. However, at times, his temper can flare up like a violet sea storm. It takes a while for him to cool down, but afterwards it’s as if nothing every happened. He simply goes about as though his day is completely normal and he was never upset in the first place. Griffin is complex. He’s mysterious and can he secretive, but is also friendly and kind once one gets to know him. Griffin always appears as though he knows something you don’t. It’s as if there’s this bit of information that he is to keep secret at all times. Because of that, he has an air of mystery about him that, for one reason or another, girls find attractive. Griffin tends to be rather quiet at first, but he does become more outspoken once you get to know him. Sarcasm is a part of his vocabulary, but he doesn’t use it regularly. He may not seem it, but Griffin can actually be very intelligent. Once he takes a hold of his, rather severe, ADHD and dyslexia, he has quite the brain for knowledge. He enjoys marine biology, but doesn’t flaunt this aspect of him. All in all, Griffin is simply an average person, or wants to be at least. He has a longing for the water and his temperament and personality can easily be compared to the sea. Fatal Flaw: Griffin has extreme personal loyalty. Once he considered you a friend or someone he cares about, he will do anything to keep you safe and happy. And this doesn’t just stop with friends, he’ll put himself on the line to save people he doesn’t even know. And this often gets him into trouble. Griffin can often be too trusting of others, which is why he’ll reach out to save them so willingly. Pets: Griffin has a strong connection to all sea creatures. Fish, turtles and dolphins are a bit more friendly to him rather than sharks and other carnivorous underwater creatures. The creatures that are more used to humans will praise him telepathically, which can often be irritating. However, the ones that dislike humans will be quite rude and harsh in their telepathic thoughts. While Griffin has a strong connection to aquatic animals, he does not have one single “pet”. Weapons: Griffin has three weapons he’ll often be seen using. Throwing daggers, a shield, and a celestial bronze spear. When these three weapons are not in use, they are different parts of a pocket knife he keeps with him at almost all times. Talents: Griffin, because he just recently arrived at camp, does not yet have full control over his water abilities. His powers are similar to those of Poseidon’s children, but he can not heal others with water, only himself, and he has no control over storms or wind like Poseidon children do. He only has the manipulation of water itself. Naturally, Griffin is able to almost breath underwater for about ten minutes. He keeps a thin pocket of air around him, but the oxygen in this pocket of air only lasts for so long. Once it’s gone, he must return to the surface to breath. Griffin is able to stay almost completely dry. However, he enjoys the feeling of water, so he doesn’t use this ability often. (Plus, it’s quite tiring to use it all the time.) Griffin is able to communicate telepathically with all aquatic creatures, although sometimes he wishes he couldn’t. Other: Griffin has many different aliases. People call him “Grif”, “Griffy”, “Gribs” and whatever else they can think of. While he has no problem with nicknames, he does simply prefer “Griffin”. Griffin's eye color:

---------------------- Several characters are now under the process of being "refurbished," as the quality of them depresses me. ----------------------

---------------------- Hunter Bohr, Christopher Mylott, and Griffin Sawyer moved to the Graveyard. Matua Rarohenga-Smith was accidentally deleted, and I don't have his sheet saved anymore. Therefore, he has unfortunately been removed permanently, and I have a Big Three slot free again. I'm left with Jimmy Lance, and my canon, Nico di Angelo. I'm going to begin work on a new character. ----------------------
