Brief History: Evannah was never fully understood in her home. She was always hiding from her abusive parents, whom she believed to be evil spawn.
Her only chance to get away from her parents was in the books she read, all fantasy, just hoping that someday something exciting would happen in her life, taking her away from her home and at her friend's house. At her friend's house, she could do whatever she wanted, and she felt like she was actually home, and that she was cared about, unlike at her actual home. Her friend's name was Emily.
One winter, when Evannah was 12, she went tobogganing with a group of friends. There were four of them, and Emily's dad had driven them in groups of two to the forest where the hill was because that was all the room he had in his truck.
As the friends were tobogganing, a man and a child came to the top of the hill while they were at the bottom, and stared at them. They left. A few minutes later, they returned at the bottom of the hill. Then at the top again, followed by an old couple. The man in the couple wanted to go down the hill, but his wife wouldn't let him. A few minutes later, they saw the wife, followed by no husband, at the bottom of the hill. She began to walk up a very steep hill, which even the young girls wouldn't have been able to climb easily. It took the old woman about 5 minutes to make it up the hill.
That was when Evannah and Emily decided to investigate. They ran across the hill, and started up the slope on the other side. They discovered a hill that they hadn't known existed, and the man and the boy were sledding down it. This was all perfectly normal, except that they were making no sound, not even when they crashed into a tree.
Evannah and Emily ran back to their friends and they all decided to leave. Emily called her dad, and the two friends left, leaving Evannah and Emily alone. As they stood in a structure in a park, a minotaur came crashing through the trees, followed by a Fury.
Not knowing what else to do, the girls started screaming their heads off, but no one came to their aid. So, they each grabbed a pointed stick and ran at the monsters. It took them a while, but soon the fury was a pile of dust and the minotaur had run away. A satyr found them, and told them that Emily's dad already knew that she was leaving, not telling them anything about the fate of Evannah's parents. When Evannah asked, the satyr told them they had been killed by another monster while looking for her. Evannah was somewhat sad, but soon got over it.
When they arrived at Camp, they were both claimed and a secret was revealed that only Emily's dad knew (Emily and Evannah are cousins). Evannah had finally found a home, and she is happy where she is. After she was claimed, Emily's dad adopted her.
Physical Appearance: Evannah has naturally curly black hair. She has light brown highlights. Her almond shaped eyes are chocolate brown. Her skin is naturally tanned. She stands around 5'5. She is the natural weight for a 14 year old girl who trains everyday.
Evannah is usually wearing Converse, unless she's training. When training she switches to normal shoes. She wears her Camp Halfblood shirt training, or just a tank top. She just wears a pair of shorts underneath. After training, Evannah changes into a light tank top or t-shirt and jean shorts.
Personality: Evannah is a very friendly, funny girl. She is always open to friends, and has major trust issues. Not the normal kind, where one doesn't trust, oh no, Evannah trusts all right. If you tell her anything, she will believe you, trusting that you wouldn't lie to her.
Fatal Flaw: Too much Trust
Pets: A pet marmoset monkey named Cheese. It was a gift from Emily's dad.
Talents: Evannah is very funny, and is very flexible. She is best with a sword when fighting.
Weapons: A celestial bronze sword that says "Believe" in Greek on the blade (Πιστεύω). This turns into a bracelet with a heart shaped charm that says "Believe" in English.
Year-Round or Summer:Year-Round, but she goes to Emily's dad's for holidays.

Brief History:Emily was cared for and loved in her home with her father. She had a pretty good life. She had a best friend, a home, a dog, everything. Plus, she was happy. The only downside to having a single dad? He was always working. Paul was barely ever home, part time working as a construction worker, part time working as a comedy drama teacher. Whenever Paul had time off, Emily would invite Evannah, her best friend, over and they would all have a movie night.
Since Emily and Evannah came to Camp Halfblood together, Emily has the same story as Evannah.
Physical Appearance:Emily has short, croppy blonde hair. Underneath the blonde, it is naturally brown, like her eye brows. It goes down to the top of her shoulder blade. Emily's eyes are brown. Her skin is normally pale, and burns easily.
Emily is very modest when it comes to clothing, so she is usually wearing a t-shirt. When she is wearing a tank top, she has another one underneath. She usually wears sandals or DC Shoes.
Personality: Emily is very kind. She's shy, and very quiet. But, when she gets into her "zone" there's no stopping her voice. She is very loyal, and won't let you down. This of course, could lead to problems.
Fatal Flaw: Lotalty
Pets: A marmoset monkey named Crackers (given to her by Paul)
Talents: Emily is very skilled with sword fighting, and she is very funny.
Weapons: A celestial bronze sword that says "Dream" in ancient greek on the blade (όνειρο). This sword turns into a bracelet like Evannah's but instead it says "Dream" in english.

Brief History:
“I grew up well. I belonged in my home, I wasn’t different from my siblings, and my family cared for me. Maybe it was because my family was a different family, or maybe it was because we were the way families were supposed to be, not split up by drugs and crime. Whichever the reason, I was just fine where I was.
I was born in London, England. Katie and Cedric were eleven. They hadn’t been to Camp Half-blood yet. My mother knew that they would soon have to go, but she moved us anyway, because of my father. Well, not exactly my father, but how powerful my scent would be because of him.
Anyways, my mom thought that London would be safer because she was farther away from Camp.
At first, it seemed like it was working. A monster attacked my home, because of Katie and Cedric, who were now twelve, but it didn’t even glance at me.
Katie and Cedric were shipped off to Camp Halfblood, giving my mom more time to watch me. Nothing strange happened around me during my earlier years. I was like a normal toddler, toddling around, chasing birds, sticking things in my mouth.
It only got bad around the age of five.
I was at the park with my mother, chasing sea gulls, and a very large man came towards me. He said something, and I looked up. I can’t remember what he said exactly, it was a long time ago, but he then reached for me. My mother, talking to another mother, looked over just as his large hands closed around my little body. She thrust herself at the beast, and using a weapon Cedric had given her, she stabbed the monster. The other mom thought she had just taken me from the man, and he had run off.
My mom started watching me more carefully, and it seemed her eye was helping. I didn’t attract any monsters, but strange things still happened around me.
I was expelled from a school for ‘pushing’ a student into a large fissure in the ground. The kid had actually been pushing me around calling me a ‘Bogey-Face’ (Hey, we were six). I had gotten mad, and the ground just opened up under his feet and he fell in. It wasn’t a deep hole, and the teacher was able to get him out, but I still got blamed.
The next year, while I was walking home from a new school, a large black dog followed me around the play-ground as I waited for my mom, who had an appointment. The teacher was supposed to be watching me, but she was talking to another parent, and she assumed I knew the dog.
The dog wasn’t hostile; in fact, it acted as though I was its owner.
My mother found me riding the dog around the play-ground. She screamed at the teacher for not watching me, reported her, and let’s just say the next week I had a new teacher.
My life went on like that. I got expelled, I attracted a monster, my mom scared it off or killed it, she got a teacher fired. The cycle repeated itself.
When I was eight, Katie and Cedric moved out. My mother’s grip on me hardened. When I went to a friends, I had to have parental supervision at all times when outside. I wasn’t allowed sleepovers.
I never minded. I always knew there was something strange about our family. I didn’t care. We were closer than most families, Katie and Cedric coming to visit often.
At nine I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD.
When I was ten, I went out with Katie and I was attacked by a chicken lady. I don’t know what the mortals saw, but it terrified them, because they all started screaming. I was joining in. I didn’t have a weapon, and that thing had claws. Katie, who had turned around, jumped in front of me, brandishing a dagger. She fought the beast, and killed it. She took me home, and she cleaned my cuts. She barely got a scratch.
I didn’t get attacked for two years. I got kicked out of school a lot. My grades went down. I got mad easily. But it wasn’t new to my mom. She’d had twins go through it eleven years ago.
When I was twelve, my mom got diagnosed with Cancer. It wasn’t fatal, and it could have been easily swept from her body easily.
One night, a monster attacked my house. It looked like a dragon with a whole lot of heads. My mom tried to protect me, but it picked her up as though she were nothing and threw her across the street. She hit the pavement and I knew it was over. I grabbed a phone and called Katie, but before I could tell her what happened, the dragon turned on me.
I ran and hid under a desk, hoping I’d have enough time to devise a plan. As I sat there, I nervously rubbed my anklet, thinking about a sword. Instantly, a sword appeared in my hands.
I jumped out from behind the desk, and charged the thing. I dodged the acid that it spewed, and I suddenly remembered a Greek myth Cedric had told me about, a myth about a Hydra. I realized with a start that this was what I was fighting. I stopped going for the heads, and went for the body instead. When I had wounded it enough, I thought of holes in the ground. I thought of a very deep hole. A hole so deep it went down to the centre of the earth.
The ground obeyed me, and a hole appeared under the monster’s feet.
I felt drained of energy. I saw Katie com running into the house, and my knees crumpled. The world went black.
I woke up in Katie’s car. She was driving me to the airport. She kept muttering something about Zeus and him letting me through his domain. I didn’t understand, but I didn’t question either.
I walked off the plane pale and sweaty. I did not like flying. Katie told me she had taken me to America.
Katie took me to Camp Halfblood, and in the first year, I was always sulking around. I blame myself for my mother's death. You might say that's preposterous, but it's true. She was supposed to spend the night in the hospital, the night I was attacked, but she didn't go because she didn't want to leave me alone. Had she gone, she wouldn't have died. It's my fault. ”

“I have dark brown hair that goes down to my chest. I also have side-swept bangs. It’s kind of wavy at the ends. My eyes are almond shaped and dark brown. My skin is naturally tanned. My cheeks puff up a lot when I smile. I stand around 5’4 or 5’5. I’m around 110 pounds... That’s how you say it here, correct?”
Personality:
“Well, I’d like to say I have a bubbly personality. I’m usually in the mood to help others. I guess I’m nice, nobody’s really told me otherwise. Most people tell me I’m really loyal to my friends and family. I’m not too smart, because of my dyslexia and ADHD. I’m also not that athletic, but I enjoy training.
Now, sometimes I can be a bit... unpleasant... around other people. I get emotional easily, and it isn’t easy to hide when I do. This is because I’m really sensitive. I can’t take criticism. I’ll get mad or sad. I tend to get violent when I’m mad, and then I run away crying. Not sad tears, but mad tears. When I’m sad, I walk away from the person. I don’t like to talk to people, and would rather to just be left alone. I’m also really clumsy, especially in battle. “
