| E M M A / M A R I E / P A I G E // A P O L L O But I can't, breathe. Emma walked into the forest humming to a song by Taylor Swift, of course. Her favorite singer of all time. The song was Breathe, and Colby Calait, another of her favorite singers was featured in it. She was remembering a short friendship she had with the best person ever. Her best friend. Only for a summer. Now, she was gone from this world. Gone. Emma found herself singing aloud, "But I can't, breathe, without you, but I have to, breathe . . ."
Emma sat on a low branch of a sturdy tree and thought of her. Of course, there was Anna. Anna and her antics. They were friends, but Emma wouldn't call them best friends. Not yet, anyway. "Friends are just someone to confide in when your sister or your brother isn't there. Emma, we may not be blood sisters in any way, but remember, I'll always be there for you," Emma remembered Anna saying to her one afternoon. It was the happiest thing she had heard the daughter of Zeus say. She and Anna were so unlike, but got along together so well.
Emma glanced at her watch; it was getting late, almost curfew, but right now, she didn't care. Maybe some of Anna was starting to rub off on her. Emma leaned back until she was hanging upside down by the branch. Her finger tips just barely touched the soil on the ground. She grabbed a dead leaf and wrapped her hand around it, warming it up with her touch.

| Jeanie Jessica Way, Jeanie found herself strolling through the woods again. She had went for a walk through the forest last week but, this time, she wasn't thinking the same way she usually did. Today, she was thinking about her mother. Her mother who died when she was 8. Her mother who put her up for adoption when she was 5. The mother she had so much hatred for. Jeanie was singing "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith." She hadn't been familiar with the song until she learned it a couple days ago. She pulled the sleeves of her sweater over her hands. It was oddly chilly for a summer night. 13 degrees Celcius, to be exact. Jeanie sang. "I could stay awake just to hear you breathing! Watch you smile while you are sleeping, while you're far away and dreaming. I could spend my life in this sweet surrender! I could stay lost in this moment forever, where every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure!" She smiled, taking a breath. She loved singing that song. One of her favorites. Her favorite band though, would have to be Red Hot Chili Peppers. Jeanie had a strange sense someone was near her. Craning her neck to look behind her while still walking ahead. Jeanie slammed right into a branch, hit her forehead. "Ow.." This caused her to stop singing.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OR-qAI8GCPw&feature=related((^^I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, covered by Janet Devlin, her play by)) http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=52485239 | |

| E M M A / M A R I E / P A I G E // A P O L L O But I can't, breathe. Emma was astonished when a girl, a halfblood, hit the branch she was hanging from. She flipped off of it, landing safely on the ground with her feet and darted towards the girl. A million questions flew through the daughter of Apollo's head. Was she alright? Was she hurt? Why wasn't she paying attention? Does she have a concussion? Please don't tell me she has a concussion.
Anna touched placed her hand on the girl's shoulder and asked, "Oh my Gods! Are you alright? Are you hurt?" I reached into my messenger bag and produced a cold cloth. I pressed it up against her forehead where she had hit her head. Don't panic, thought Emma. She was reminding herself. She wanted to assure the girl, but she was on the verge of panicking herself.
Anna looked through her messenger bag with her left hand, her right hand held the cloth to the camper's forehead. It would help, but if it was a concussion, it wouldn't heal it. Emma was frustrated with the bag and with herself, where is the ambrosia? She found it and said, "Here. Take this; it will help." She handed the ambrosia to the other camper.

| Jeanie's head ached and throbbed. Stupid branch.... Her eye's fluttered. She suddenly felt extremely tired. Now there was a girl coming over towards her. Jeanie tried to sit up but, her head throbbed and the corners of her eyes went black. Jeanie decided her best bet was to lay down. The girl came running over. Jeanie looked at her while she fluttered her eyes to try and stay awake. "Um, I was singing and my eyes were closed, then I hit the branch." She kinda of laughed but, it was covered with a moan. She gratfully accepted the cold cloth. It felt good. So good. Then, the girl pulled out what Jeanie was longing for. Ambrosia. She took it and ate it so quickly, she looked like Road Runner. Jeanie's head started to throb less. She was still extremely dizzy though. She pointed a thumb at herself. "I'm Jeanie." She smiled. | |
