'Bet ya' (Aqua/Rune)

~Ronan~
"Wonder if anyone will come round t'day?" Ronan asked, just sitting around bored. No one had asked for any weaponry or armour for a couple of days. It was boring, but at least Ronan and his twin - Thomas - got to work a bit more on their secret project. "Bet ya, that the next person that comes around, they ask me, to make something and not you." Ronan laughed. It was a half hearted laugh. He was bored out of his head. He had no ideas of what to make. Nothing, he was running dry. "You got any ideas of anything to make? Other than a girl for your dog." Ronan laughed again.

~Thomas~
"Obviously they'd pick you, your better at making stuff than me." Thomas said, almost sadly. He was like a peice of gum on their fathers shoe compared to Ronan at forging. He may have been a natural blacksmither - or what ever you wanted to call it - and he was good at it. But he was no where near as good as his brother. "If we were to make a girl for Rover, he'd stop p*ssing oil on the carpet - hopefully." Thomas almost laughed at this. There had been sveral occasions where Rover - Thomas' mechanical pet dog - had peed oil on the carpet. And oil was very hard to com out, even though his whole carpet was usually covered in some sort of grime. "Maybe try and make some sort of machine to try and lift my hammer?" Thomas said, when he saw someone in the corner of his eye. "Whatcha want? We can make almost anything."

Ronan looked at his twin. "You do the knife, I'll handle the girl with the sword." Ronan smiled at the girl. "Whatcha need fixed?" He asked, lifting his hands, as if to tell the girl to give him whatever needed fixed. "Weapon or armour?" He asked. "Ronan, Ronan Gibb," he said to the girl then nodded to his brother, "Thats Thomas. Whats your name?"

~Thomas~
Thomas looked at the guy with the bent knife. Thomas sighed. Given the easy job as usual. "I'll just fix that up for ya." He said, taking the knife. He walked off and a couple minutes later, he came back with the knife straight. "Just need to sharpen it." Thomas said with a fake smile. "That'll be twenty dollars." Thomas joked when he had finished sharpening the knife. "Good as new. I'm Thomas, Mr-better-at-smithing over there is Ronan. Oh, I can make that knife into any metal you like, but not gold, thats hard to do." Thomas said, holding up his hammer. "Slightly alchemical."

~Thomas~
"No payment is needed. Lets do it as a favour. How about that? Or just for free." Thomas beamed slightly. At least he had some fun fixing the knife, even if it was for five minutes. "Whats you name?" He asked, curious. He sat back down in his seat, his brother hadn't even gotten the weapon yet. "What happened to you being the better 'smith? I've already finished my order." Thomas laughed. "You haven't even touched the weapon. Trying to flirt or something? Pretty girl distracting you?"

~Ronan~
Ronan's cheeks flushed with redness at Thomas's comment at flirting. "No, why'd I flirt with Justine here? And I am so a better 'smith than you. You have to use your hammer, I can use any old hammer, made of stone or iron, I dont care." Ronan tried to shrug off the comments, but they were ringing in his ears. "Free for you. And it shouldn't take that long, might have to like bend it, then re-adjust it though, depends how big the dent is." He looked down at the sword and picked it up, holding it up to the light. "Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. Thomas? Keep the girl happy for me whilst I'm in the back." Ronan chuckled.

While the guy was talking to his brother, I grabbed the knife and scooted out, accidently bumping into a girl that was walking in. "Sorry." I muttered, and walked off, twirling his knife around. Thank god that was over.



I was walking in to the armory, when a taller boy then me, bumped into me. I rolled my eyes and continued to the counter. I set my star down, and looked at the boy at the counter. I nearly fainted. There looking at me was not only the hottest boy she's ever seen, but also the kindest looking. She tried to remember what she was going to say, but for once, she could not remember.

Thomas looked up and a girl was standing there. "Hey, how can I help you?" He asked, ignoring his brother. He shouted over his shoulder, "Ronan? We need to get a waiting room or something." Thomas chuckled slightly. He looked back at the girl infront of her. "I'm Thomas, my twin is in the back, Ronan. What about you? What's your name? And is it a weapon or armour repair or do you want something made?" He asked with a small smile, the gil was quite pretty. A few sentences flew through his head, but he didn't say anything, he'd just met the girl.

Thomas just stared at the girl, his face turning as red as a tomato. "Ugh....." Thomas was flabergasted. "Um.....Thanks....." Thomas said, looking down at his feet. Hot. He'd never been called 'hot' before. "So... Em... Lyndzee, erm... What was it you needed repaired or made?" Thomas asked, his face turning a lighter shade of red. It wasn't so much embarrasment for himself - yes it was there, but not that much - but slight embarrassment for Lyndzee.

~Ronan~
Ronan walked back into the front, the sword swinging limply from his hand. "Good as new" He smiled. His smile then turned into a grin as he saw Thomas blushing slightly. The guy with the knife had gone and there was a girl asking for a star to be fixed. He sat on the counter. "Here is your sword." Ronan said, giving Justine her sword. "Is that all? Want anything made? Or anything else repaired?" He urged.


~Thomas~
Thomas ignored his brothers grin. "Whats wrong with it?" He asked, his face turned back to normal, no longer blushing. He looked into Lyndzee's eyes. She was nervous. "Your pretty too." Thomas said under-his breath, almost inaudible. Almost. Thomas took the star and looked at it. "Silver? Actual silver or painted?" He asked, inspecting it.

~Ronan~
"Wow, three customers in less than an hour, compared to no customers in a couple of days. Word must've gotten out that we are just brilliant." Ronan beamed, after saying bye to Justine. He looked at the girl - Lyndzee - and his brother. "And I flirt." Ronan mumbled. "I'll leave you to it Thomas, you'd be able to do this one."

~Thomas~
"Have you got the tip that broke with you? If not, It'll take slightly longer." Thomas said, glancing at his brother as he left, almost willing for him not to go. "And it shouldn't take long anyway." He took the star and eaded into the back.

About 10 minutes later, Thomas came back. His brother had asked a few awkward questions when he was fixing the star. Thomas was thankful to be back at the front, next to the counter. "Here you go." Thomas said, giving the girl her star - its looked as if it was completely new. "I took a screw out of one of the tables, changed it to silver, then smelted the two together. The dents were easy and I polished it up a little."

"No payment is needed. All is free. Anytime you need or want anything, just drop by." Thomas smiled, looking into Lyndzee's eyes. She was georgous. He looked into her greeny-brown eyes, almost mesmerized. That was just one brilliant thing about her. Thomas swallowed, he was thankful his brother was in the back, maybe even back at the cabin, but knowing him, he was eavesdropping. "Your georgous." He said, louder than when he had sid that she was pretty. He looked down at the counter, at his hand, then looked back at the girl, showing a slightly shy smile.

"Well....one thing. You can refuse if you like. Meet me at the lake later today? You know like a date? Or we cn call it something else if you like, like a.....meeting. we can have a meeting at the lake." Thomas rambled. "Sorry." He added afterwards. He stood up and picked up his hammer. "Or now? And I have a horrid song stuck in my head." He said, utter disgust in his voice. "Call Me Maybe." He then laughed.

~Ronan~
Ronan had heard every word. He walked back through to the counter and leaped over it. "Who'd to think you'd be the one to get the girl first?" Ronan chuckled. "Good luck, you'll need it." He said, directing it at Lyndzee. He then chuckled slightly and walked back to Cabin nine.

~Thomas~
Thomas turned bright red, heat rushing to his cheeks when his twin came through and leaped over the counter. "Oh Gods." He muttered. He flashed a look of anger and embarrassment towards Ronan just before he left. "Sorry about that. Ronan thinks he is brilliant. There was the running joke between us of who got a girlfriend first. He may be better at forging and 'smithing, but he flirts too much, he should be an Aphrodite kids." Thomas joked. He then jumped over the counter himself and looked at Lyndzee. "You wanna go just now? Or leave it till tonight?"

"Thank you." Thomas said softly. Then his faced turned into a scowl and his voice was deadly serious. "But not Aphrodite kid charmer, no." He then burst out laughing. "Wait, d'you mind if I - I mean we - go past cabin nine to get my swimming costume?" He stood next to Lyndzee and looked into her beutiful eyes. He managaed to wriggle his hand into hers, hopefully without her noticing, but if she did - oh well.
