| Somewhere out there God made you for me Under the street lights I feel you, My Romeo Christopher Jason Hunt Son of Aphrodite Brushing his locks of hair from in front of his light brown eyes, Chris walked through the fields of delicious fruit, extremely tempted to pluck one of the red berries off a plant and place it into his mouth. He didn't though, because that would be cruel, seeing as some campers had spent long and hard trying to grow them to their current height and colour.
Humming slightly to himself, Chris' headphones blared to Lil Wayne's How to Love, which had to be one of his favourite songs ever. He bit his lip, tilting his head in the direction of the sun for an intense moment. He wasn't really thinking about much, except maybe what he was going to do later. Maybe he would head out to the arena with his siblings, or maybe he would just chill in his cabin for a while.
Sitting on a patch of grass in the centre of the long stretch of fields, Christopher leaned back on his elbows. He was alone, which wasn't a very nice feelings for him, seeing as he was normally pretty popular. All his liffe he had been pretty popular. He just needed some space now. He just needed to think, without the feeling of his sisters begging him to go shopping with them, ior their brother's dirty talk. Any other day, he would be up for all of this but right now, he wasn't.
Closing his eyes, Chris' headphones were playing so loudly that there was no chance of him hearing anyone approach, and he was currently sitting out of the view, not thinking about how he was so heasy to fall over. He wasn't really thinking about anything, like he had earlier pointed out. The place that you’ll one day have with me cause love does progress gradually We wont fight, but protest casually Just like a love is supposed to be I just want to hold you close to me | |

| Cassie Alexandria Rush | Sitting about a mile into the huge strawberry fields, was Cassie Rush, daughter of Hephaestus. She was perched on a thin, light-blue sheet, lying on her stomach. She brushed a lock of red hair out of her face, that proceeded to flop back down in her eyes. Once again, she removed it from her facial region. When it died for a third time, she got annoyed. She slammed her book down on the sheet and yanked a hair-tie out her bag. "I'll show you... damned hair..." she grumbled, her brows furrowing as she threw her hair together in a simple, fishtail braid. It hung loosely down her back, not guarding her back from the harmful UV rays of the sun. She sighed, dramatically and picked up her things, shoving them in her back, sweating dripping off her neck.
It'd be better to go sit in the library where she wouldn't be burned to a crisp. However, she did love the strawberry fields. The sweet smell of fruit, the warm sun on her face, the breezes that magically came from nowhere. Just at that moment, as if a breeze nymph had heard her thoughts, a strawberry laced breeze came from the south, wooshing her hair up. Cassie grinned, relishing in the wonderful smell of the fruit. She took it through her nose, her mouth watering as she took deep breaths. Driven with the suddenly overwhelming urge to eat the delicious fruit, Cassie skipped over to a large plant, inspecting the plants for bugs of any sort. Cassie did not like bugs. She tossed her stuff on the ground with a light THUD and chose a big, juicy, ripe fruit. She plucked it off the vine and raised it to her mouth to bite into, but stopped suddenly feeling guilty.
For a moment she felt like the Eve woman from the Old Testament of the Bible who was being tempted with Satan's demon fruit or whatever. She felt like she shouldn't eat this fruit. Cassie slowly bent over and set the fruit on the ground and picked her stuff back up. Someone had obviously worked extremely hard on growing these fruits and she'd feel bad if she ate them. Cassie slung her backpack over her shoulder and trudged on through the humidity, sure that her face was red and gross with sweat. That's when she noticed a really attractive guy laying down on the ground. "Oh my..." she whispered, and then clamped a hand over her mouth. What if he heard her!? She thought desperately looking around. Then she noticed his head phones. "Oh..." she said, softly. Her lips turned up in a grin at her own self.
That's when her impulsiveness kicked in and she decided to set up her little camp here. She was sure that he could use some company.

| Somewhere out there God made you for me Under the street lights I feel you, My Romeo Christopher Jason Hunt Son of Aphrodite Seeing movement other than the swaying of the bushes in the corner of his eyes, Chris’ head snapped up to see a girl starting to set down her things; a pretty girl, who’s hair resembled the colour of the berries on each of the bushes. His light brown eyes clouded with curiosity, Christopher yanked one earbud out of his ears, wondering what she was doing.
Okay, that was a stupid question. It was obvious what she was doing but, why was she doing it? Why come and speak to him?
Chris didn’t mind though. He wasn’t the type of person that turned people away, no matter whether he wanted to be alone or not. Sometimes, he hated being a nice guy. It could just be so…inconvenient for him. If he just wanted to be alone, without the need to speak and interact with any of the other Demigod’s, he sometimes wasn’t able to do so. Having said that, Christopher would much rather he had a lot of people around him and yearning his attention rather than being alone all the time. The thought of him being alone made him want to…cry. A real man cries.
Because of recently cutting and dying his hair a dark blonde, it wasn’t forever falling into his eyes like it had before but, honestly, it was still a pain in the butt. It was growing again, and Chris had lacked the patience to straighten his hair this morning for some strange, twisted reason. Also, if all that wasn’t enough, the dye was wearing out and turning a dark brown once more. He wasn’t sure whether he would dye it blonde again, but the fast that you could see his dark roots was annoying him. He spent so damn long on his appearance and, in his belief, he didn’t think this in-between phase made him look as good as he usually did. He really needed to get it done; if not for him then so that the Demigod’s that were also attending camp wouldn’t suffer from his lack-of-normal hotness.
Leaning back down his elbows were propping his torso up, Chris silently watched the girl for a moment before deciding it best to speak, maybe introduce himself. It was usually the polite thing to do, and Chris was quite old-fashioned when it came to manners and introductions. He had to do the whole ‘hand-shake’ thing, and make sure his manners were acceptable. That’s what living with his Mother did to a teenage-boy; killed off their insolence. Well, Foster Mother. Obviously Chris didn’t live with his real Mother, seeing as she was a God and all that. It might’ve been a bit weird when on parents-evening; Chris’ teacher was introduced to Aphrodite.
Yeah, just a little weird.
“Um…hello,” Chris said in that husky voice of his, an amused smile still playing on his naturally-red lips. “Have you come to give me company, Beautiful?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.
Chris had a girlfriend, but calling girls ‘beautiful’ was a reflex action. He liked to tell girls that they were beautiful, and perfect. It didn’t just make him feel good to see them smile and blush, but he honestly and truly believed that every person was beautiful in their own way. That’s why he hated any form of bullying or injustice so much; it knocked people’s confidence and dreams. He didn’t know why girls could be insecure, seeing as they turned heads when they walked through the-

| Cassie Alexandria Rush | Cassie's head snapped up, her green and blue eye flickering to the boy's face. She heard him speak, but she didn't quite register the words. It took her a minute to craft her reply as she flicked her hair out of her face and said, "Well, no, actually, I came to find a better spot," she was lying through her teeth, but doing it excellently. Cassie had always been a great liar. Although, she'd heard somewhere that being a good liar was a tell-tale sign of a psychopath. Oh, well.

| Raising his eyebrows again In amusement, the corners of Chris' lips twitched up into a charming smile as he watched the girl for a moment longer. After a suitable few seconds had passed, he shrugged, running a hand thriugh his brown locks of hair that always managed to wall Into his eyes again, no matter how many times he had attempted to brush them back. "And the better spot just so happened to be next to me," He grinned cockily before grasping for another topic. Chris had always been cocky, even though a big part of his was sweet, kind and thoughtful. "I'm Chris," The son of Aphrodite intodruced, getting to his feet quickly and extending his hand towards the girl. He was pretty old-fashioned when it came to greeting girls and whatnot.
