Okay, so my friend Alex and I are both dancers, k? We're going to do a dance duet, and both of us asked our companies (i have 2, one of them doesn't compete and that's why i'm allowed on two) if they could help us choreograph something but they were too busy... We're trying to do it on our own, but we both do different types of dances. She's an advanced (like really advanced) jazz / ballet dancer and i'm an advanced hip hop and intermediate lyrical dancer.
We need to either find a dance on youtube that's preferrably 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes 30 seconds, or choreograph our own dance. There's no rush, we're just trying to get a head start on everything so it can be perfect. We have a year until next year's talent show (and we're also trying to get into a competition by ourselves). One of the reasons we're also getting ready for the talent show + competition so early is because of boys. of course, yes, we're lady players, gotta problem, hope not? BUT IF YOU WERE US YOU WOULD WANT TO DO AN AMAZINGGGGG JOB IF YOUR CRUSH WAS IN THE AUDIENCE AMIRIGHT >;3
so if any of y'all have any suggestions on choreography or any youtube videos to share put them out there. We're still deciding if we're doing a dance duet, trio, or quarter mainly because there's so many girls who said they would do it with us but we're kinda hesitant because a lot of them don't dance and it'll be hard to even teach them but we have enough time to teach them - okay nevermind.
