I walked through the library insertcomma sighing softly as I couldn't find anything that suited my interests. Then insertcomma I was pretty much new to camp and barely knew where to start. So I decided to grab a random book and walked out of the book isles. I gasped and dropped my book as I suddenly ran into someone as I turned the corner.

Stefan was just about to leave the library, he had spent a better part of the morning trying to find a book he could easily decipher but after 2 hours of book opening his brain had had enough.

As he turned around an isle he bumped into someone. "i'm so sorry." he said as he handed her book back to her, on a closer look he guessed that she was a child of Aphrodite because of her startling good looks and the strange feeling he got when he looked into her eyes like she could read his emotions . "i'm stefan." he finally managed to say.

I took the book and stepped back a little to put some space between the two of us. I stared down at my feet in embarrassment, my cheeks turning a soft and rosy pink. "It's alright. I should have been more careful. Plus, I'm always tripping over something. I tend to be a clutz." I mumbled. I barely glanced up at him as I realized he'd told me his name, but I had yet to tell him my name. "Oh, uh, my name's Stella. Sorry for the inconvenience." I added quickly, brushing past him towards another isle of books.

Stefan watched as the girl pushed past him and went to another isle, she said her name was stella or something like that he barley heard what she said.
Obviously she was the shy type he walked over to her and said. "you know do not have to beat yourself up it was not your fault."he said with a faint smile on his lips. "by the way which kind of book are you looking for i have been in the library for a long time and i practicaly know the sections by heart."his smile this time was a bit broader

I blinked in surprise and looked up at him. "Well, I like mystery or fantasy based novels." I blushed and giggled a little. "I feel like such a dork, talking about books. Most of my siblings don't even like the sight of books!"

"mystery and fantasy huh it shoul be right over there." he pointed towards the end of the library. " don't worry i'll walk you there, and by the way you are not most of your siblings I think it's pretty nice that at least I know an Aphrodite kid who cares about books" he said with a full blown smile.

I couldn't help but smile back. "Thank you. You're too sweet." I said gratefully. I noticeably relaxed and let out a soft sigh. I glanced at him curiously. "So what books do you like?" I asked.

Stefan felt relieved as he saw her relax."well I like thriller and mystery books tho I hardly get past the first few chapters. So do you always come to the library or you just happened to be here today ? I usually come here after my archery classes and a dip in the beach."

"No, I don't normally come here, actually. I've been trying to explore what the camp has to offer, as of late. I'm not exactly great at most of what the camp has..." I said, suddenly feeling that same hollow confusion that I'd felt over and over for the past couple of months since I came here. Was I ever going to be good at anything?

Stefan saw the same look he had seen on her face earlier come back he guessed it was because of her last sentence about her not being good at anything the camp had to offer. " you know most of the activities here in camp are not Aphrodite suited. Most Aphrodite kids prefer things like design and fashion but the activities here are mainly on the other side of the river, you just Relax and go with the flow of things you will still find something you like." he hoped what he had told her would help he did not want her beating herself up over something she could not control.

I flinched a little at this. It seemed everyone said that nothing here was suited for a child of Aphrodite. "I'm starting to wonder if the camp has something against children of Aphrodite or something." I mumbled, looking downcast as I stared at the book in my hands. I could fight when I wanted to; the problem was that I refused to if it was unecessary to hurt someone.

Seeing the look on her face Stefan immediately knew he had said something wrong. "hey i'm sorry but there must at least be something you are good at, if you think not i could help you to find one, but right now i have to get to the infirmary." he said with a look at his wristwatch. "you could meet of at the beach but that is if you want to." he said with a questioning look on his face.

I smiled at that idea. The beach was one place I could go at camp and feel comfortable being there. "Sure! What time should we meet?" I asked him, my violet eyes brightening significantly.

stefan was glad she agreed to it. "you can meet of there in two hours." he said with a smile on his face. "I have to make my rounds at the infirmary now bye." he then walked out singing set fire to the rain.

In two hours

I walked along the surface of the beach, humming the song that he had ended up sticking in my head. Still, I didn't exactly mind that it was stuck in my head. He had a nice voice. It was obvious he was a son of Apollo. I was wearing a light blue sundress with lacy straps that hid my bikini, as well as white flats. I decided to take my flats off and waded into the shallow water, letting the waves brush against my feet. I looked around, just wondering when he would arrive. Then I saw him walking towards me in the distance and waved to him, smiling brightly.

"stefan had left the infirmary early he took a bath and had a change of clothes after which he walked down to the beach. At there were some other bunch of people some swimming some tossing rocks into the beach and others just hanging around. "i should get a swim after this." stefan thought to himself. Looking around he saw stella ankle deep in water. "my god she looks stunning in that sundress of hers." were the first words he was able to mumble out walking over to her he saw she had a smile on her face, finnaly reaching her he have her a little hug and said "i hope you know you look gorgeous this evening." with a little smile.

I looked up at him and my smile was brilliant as I looked up at him. I couldn't help but blush at his comment and giggle softly. I stood on my toes and kissed him on the cheek. "And I hope you know that you are too sweet." I said. I took his hand and tugged him into the surf. "Come on, I've been dying to go swimming!" I said cheerily.

I stripped down to my trunks and followed stella into the water wandering if the grin on my face was going to be stuck on my face forever, the water felt slightly warm as i dove under being a son of apollo i was good at swimming but the scene i saw underwater made of wish i was a child of poseidon it was a very beautiful one and a few feet from me was a big manta ray. I then resurfaced and swam over to stella. "want to take an underwater ride?" he said offering her his hand.

I slipped the sundress over my head and threw it on the shore, revealing the bikini I had on underneath. I placed my hand in his when he offered it and tilted my head curiously. "A ride on what?" I asked, not exactly sure what he meant.

"Wicked." i said with a sly grin when i saw the bikini. " yes a ride on a ray there is one just under us and i was thinking of a ride on it." I then took a dive but the ray was already gone. "don't worry it's gone but you might as well take a dive the scene down there is a beautiful one."
