Yes, it is I! Tate Wild--bball star and personal celebrity!(no flash photography)(open)

Number 44, Tate Wild, dribbles the ball down into enemy territory! He has a totally ear shot! He halts...HE SHOOTS!!!! he...uh...misses?
Uhh right...so Uhh...maybe the 'bball star and perso al celebrity' was a lie, but hey--I'll get there! Even if I only started yesterday...

I walked through the forest, worrying about my friend Melina that has been away from camp for two days. We went to school together back in New York City. The times we had, especially the one where we were attacked by furies, which was completly awesome by the way. My daughter-of-Nike-powers never seem to fail me. Nevertheless, I just hoped Melina and her boyfriend weren't attacked by any monsters while she was visiting her dad's house.

As thoughts rummaged through my head, I noticed a boy out on one of the basketball courts. He seemed like a Hermes kid, but I wasn't entirely sure. I thought I might as well join, so I could calm my nerves down. "Hello," I greeted.

I turned around and the ball bounced up and whacked ms on the head. "Ouch!" I grunted and rubbed my head. "Hi." I'd seen this girl around camp a few times, and I think Jay knew her. What was her name again? "You're... Vicky? Right?" I asked.

I chuckled as I watched the ball wack him on the head. "If that's what you'd prefer to call me," I replied. "I'm Victoria Murphy, daughter of Nike." I glanced at the basketball that was rolling down half court. "You play?" I asked, gesturing my head to the rolling ball.

I blushed when she chuckled but cleared my face quickly and puffed out my chest proudly. "yes, I do play!" I nodded. "Oh right. Victoria. I knew it started with a V. I'm Tate Wild--son of Hermes."

"Hi, Tate," I said halfheartedly. I needed to calm down my nerves, and fast. I couldn't let my emotions take over me. I sat down on a bench near the half court line. "How long have you been playing basketball?"

Fail. "Uhhh...a while." I lied with a shrug. I grabbed the ball and dribbled it in place. "Do you play?" I asked

(OOC: sorry if my posts are as short as they can be--I'm sick and keep falling asleep...)

OOC: That's okay. You're sick, go easy on yourself. Drink tons of fluids too.

BIC: I answered his question with a simple shake of my head. "No, I wasn't even a cheerleader. I much rather prefered messing with the girls in my class. I hung around boys mostly. The only female friend I had was Melina, but she was in seventh grade, and I was in eighth."
