"Ha, I beat you!" I shout over my shoulder to Lavvie. I pick up the ball and wait for her to catch up.

Standing next to the volleyball pit doing some stretches, I see Lavvie and Aelissia (sp?) run up. I laugh at Aelissia, she's so competitive sometimes. "Hey guys !" I call.

"Sure ! I'm always up to owning a few of my friends ," I boast playfully. I'm not even very good at volleyball, I just like to tease them to get them to try harder.

The ball sails towards me and I attempt to volley back. Like I said, I'm not very good at volleyball, and the ball falls to the sand. I laugh and pick it up, kicking it over the net.

I laughed, Andy had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately for her, she had no advantage here on land. I bumped the ball in her direction.

I shriek and duck. "What're you doing, trying to kill me?" I yell. I run after the ball and attempt to throw it at Ebony, it doesn't even land remotely near her.

"You never know . . . " I tease Andy. The ball lands about seven feet away from me, which makes me only laugh harder. I kick the ball in Lavvie's direction, daring her to join the fight with my eyes.
