Brief History:
Jovan's mother passed away in a car accident when he was only two years old. He was an only child, so he was taken, by Dionysus, to camp. He was put into the care of the nymphs and satyrs. He was tutored in the subjects, and being raised by nature spirits, raised to care and love nature, and was taught how to grow plants. When he was 7, he began his training. He was taught swordry by the satyrs and archery by Chiron.

Jovan is tall for his age, he stands at 5ft, 5 in. He has dirty blonde hair which falls about shoulder length. He has big bright blue eyes that sparkle in the sun. He has very dark tanned skin, and is very handsome. He is also very athletic and muscular, and weighs 130 pounds.

Jovan is very outgoing and popular. He is friendly and loves to be the center of attention. He is a party animal and can be very loud and obnoxious. Being the son of the wine god, he loves to drink wine, and also is willing to share. He is loyal to his true friends, and will do almost anything in his power to protect them. Derek was born in England, his mother Lucia was raising by himself. He grew up and was an only child. He often helped out around the house cleaning and cooking. He attended a private boarding school, he was a bright student and managed to get above average marks. When he was 12 years old, he got his 16 year old girlfriend pregnant. He was 13 when his daughter was born, Maisie Lauren. It was only two days after this that he was attack by monsters, he was forced to leave Maisie and his girlfriend and go to camp. He has been training ever since. At camp, he met another girl, a daughter of Persephone. He ended up having a second child, this time it was a boy, named Alfie.

Derek is someone who has a small group of friends, and likes to be by himself a lot. He is a very strong fighter, and wont back down from anything. He doesnt put his trust in people very often, but when he does he is a very loyal friend. He doesnt put up with crap from anyone, and will stand his ground.

He struggled to make friends in the community, so Julie decided to let him go to the public school when he was 8 years old. However homeschooling had put him ahead two years, so he was the yongest and smallest in his class. He made friends with the people his age, and he was often picked on by the kids in his grade. He was able to defend himself against the bullies, and became a very tough boy. He had a special thing for pulling pranks, and often pranked the older kids, and usually got in trouble for it. When he was 12 years old, his mother decided that she had enough of his problems, and so she brought him to the camp for the school years, but he goes home every summer to see Julie again, and always hangs out with his old friends.
