Brief History:
Evadne’s father was extremely handsome in his youth, and even more in his older years. She was conceived when Aphrodite took a passing fancy to Charles, giving him a child and disappearing almost straight after. Charles never married, and Evadne had no idea of her true heritage until she was eight, when Charles decided to tell her out of pity one night as he found her wailing in her sleep for her mother. There was a good reason Aphrodite told Charles not to reveal her heritage until she had been summoned to Camp Halfblood, though, and finding out caused her smell to reach its peak. On a vacation, they were attacked by a manticore, and Mr. Taylor did not survive. Custody over Evadne was handed to her grandparents on her father’s side, but both do not care much for her, as they are both archaic and Evadne was born out of wedlock. Depression over the loss of her father caused the next two years of her life to pass by bleakly. It was broken when Aphrodite saw fit to visit her, only the one time and only for a few minutes, to talk to her about her father. After this, she grew back into her old self, and at the age of fourteen, was taken to Camp Halfblood.

Physical Appearance:
Evadne has thick, black hair that runs in ringlets down to the small of her back. Her eyes are a steely grey, the colour of stormy nights. She isn’t particularly tall (5 foot 2), but her straight posture and confident air tricks the eye into thinking her tall. She has a clear, pale complexion, except for the heart-shaped birthmark on her ankle. She is not specifically toned or muscular; instead, she has a soft body shape. She can be terribly feminine, and will always wear a dress or skirt; she has an intense dislike for pants or shorts of any kind, and will only tolerate wearing shorts for sport, exercise or times when she needs to be especially flexible. She wears heels almost 24/7 (even her slippers have small heels), and although many people will sneer, she can do anything in them, be it running, fighting or training (they have also come particularly in handy on the occasion her dagger is unavailable, when she has merely to remove a shoe and stab with the stiletto heel up).

Personality:
Before her father’s death, Evadne was very bright and happy, confident in the fact that her father loved her. Instead of becoming bitter because her mother had left her, she took it in stride and believed her father when he said she was too important to stay home. After her father’s death, her depression caused her to not talk, eat or sleep, and she became very unhealthy; and although she was still beautiful, it was a creepy, haunted beauty. She was restored to her former self after Aphrodite’s visit. She can be very vain, but in the years she has matured, and she tries not to look into every reflective source for her reflection. She is quite smart, but doesn’t place intelligence as high as appearance on her priority list. Evadne loves children, and can be incredibly nice, but holds grudges for a long time. Like her mother, she is a romantic, and hopes to live to adulthood to find her 'true love'.

Fatal Flaw:
Very emotional and impulsive, Evadne lets her feelings run her. Most of the time, this will result in a crucial mistake.

Talents:
If she puts her mind to it, she can be very smart (though this is rare) and handy with a dagger. Also, as a general rule, children adore her, and she them. :)

Weapons:
Celestial bronze dagger, with an embellished handle given to her by Aphrodite. The dagger doubles as a tube of lipstick when viewed by mortals/not in use.

Brief history:
Roman’s father was the professor of Greek Culture at the University of Cambridge. At the time of Roman’s birth, Gordon had been rather resentful of Athena, and named him ‘Roman’ out of spite. By the time Roman had turned two, however, he had come to terms with Athena’s abandonment, and he was the loving father of a well-mannered, well-spoken young boy. Roman was homeschooled for the most part of his life by his father and grandfather – the only experience he had of being at any type of school was a preschool that he went to for two weeks only, when his father was sick and his grandfather was on holiday on the other side of the world. At the age of ten, it was estimated he knew more words than the average Year 10 student, but in casual conversation, he never ‘took out the big guns’. He had never had much chance to interact with other children his age, but at the times he did, he found out that sounding smart was a fast way to scare them off. As a result, he grew up alone, with only his father and grandfather for company. He has lived in England for his 17 years, and only stumbled upon Camp Halfblood on one of his father’s academic trips to America. He automatically connected to the camp, and not knowing of any other Greek camps nearer to his home, he takes the time to fly to the United States every summer.

Physical appearance:
Roman has short brown hair that doesn’t know if it’s curly or straight – it can be either or both, depending on how he slept the previous night. He has eyes that can be seen as blue or grey in certain lights, but blue-grey in most. He has the pale, bookish look of a bookworm, but despite his natural aversion to sports, he is lean as he has a faster metabolism than most. He is most often seen wearing a white button-down shirt, dark trousers and plain black shoes, with a book in his hand. Roman stands at 6 feet.

Personality:
Because he was so isolated during his life, he doesn’t have many ‘people skills’. When he gets nervous, as is the usual case when he is meeting new people, he goes into full ‘lecture mode’, and can ramble on for minutes at a time if not stopped. He has the precise manner and eloquence of a well-educated man and some may describe his manners as ‘old-fashioned’. He loves to read, though he only finds non-fiction interesting; ‘knowledge is power’ is one of his key mottos. He is quiet, and tends to observe rather than converse. Those who know him the most will garner his full loyalty, and he will do much for those he loves.

Fatal flaw:
Roman is a very 'by-the-book' person, and likes to do things the tried and true method. If engaged in a fight, it is likely that although he knows how to kill the opponent, he will lose anyway because he is not quick-thinking when it comes to creativity. He tries to reason everything with logic.

Talents:
Roman has a particular interest in Greek mythology which started even before he found he was a demigod. In battle, he knows the precise weaknesses and advantages any monster has over him; in essence, he is an ‘encyclopaedia of Greek monsters and legends’. He isn’t much for battle, but can handle a sword decently.

Weapons:
A celestial bronze sword that takes the form of a quill made from an owl’s feather through the Mist/when not in use.
