Just getting my sad dilemma out there. Advice is welcome.

Ok, so here's my story...

It started as a regular school day. I had been glancing nervously at this guy I like named Nick. I'm a total wimp, so I don't talk to him. I stare at him everyday for the last two weeks. And another thing... one of my BFF's r BFF's with Nick.

Last Wednesday I was at youth group. Annsley (The BFF to Nick) is there. While that paster ia talking, she whispers to me, "Would you be mad at me if I asked Nick out?" My mind filled with fury, but I masked it. "I would be very sad, not mad," I reply. She nods and tell me, "Ok, then I won't ask him out."

The next day at school, I see them holding hands and hugging. I almost cry, but I don't.

At math, I ask her what's going on. And she tells me, "I'm giving Nick $20 a day to pretend to be my boyfriend." So I say to myself, ok, i still have a chance right? WRONG

Carrie asks Nick about it an hour later. He says he is dating Annsley, but he has no idea about the $20 thing. By then I wanted to kill Annsley.

The next day, I keep staring at Nick. Then when I was at my locker, Carrie tells me that Nick was lying. That Annsley really is giving him $20! I'm overjoyed! But... it's not working. The whole reason she did it was to make another guy she liked jealous. It's not working at all. It's been going on for a few days now, and they still look like they're dating.

So there's my story. The question for you guys is... what do i do?
