I sat at the lowest branch of a tree overlooking the creek. The sound was eerie especially in the dark, with the full moon reflecting off the creek. I had my messenger bag with me, because I was planning to sneak out to Manhattan.

I had about seventy-five dollars with me, because I was going to shop for some clothes and more junk food for my cabin. Along with nectar and ambrosia, I was good to go. Suddenly, I heard a twig snap from behind me. I turned around and unsceathed my dagger from my arm.

I shot it at the figure but it missed and hit the tree right next to it. I squinted, and realized the figure was humanoid.
