yeah its the weekend!!!!!!!!!!! (private to moon)

i sat down in the sand watching the water roll over to the beaches. i pulled out my cards from my pocket and shuffled them absent mindedly."he said son can you play me a memory?" i sang softly "im not really sure how it goes. but is sad and its sweet and i knew it complete when i wore a younger mans clothes"

Addison walked onto the shores of the lake. Usually the lake would be vacant, not so much today. Her blue eyes spotted a boy singing. Addison backed up, not wanting to be a bother. "Oh I'll just go." she said.

i looked up to the sound of foot steps fading and a girl saying some thing.
"Hey" i called over to her. My hair longer than it should be (but i like it longer) tried to poke me in my eyes as i sprang to my feet. " im not going to bite."

Addison looked at her feet. "Oh... okay then." she said walking back over to the boy. "I'm Addison, daughter of Hermes." Addison said looking back up at the boy. She never liked talking much.

"charlie son of tyche." i told her. "i wish the lake was always this calm." i fired the deck in the air. I watched them turn in back in to a full deck as they fell to the ground. my eyes flashed and the deck made them selfs in to a house of cards.

Addison nodded and swished her hair from her face. "Yeah, whoa how did you do that? Well luck, but still" she asked. Addison looked at the cards, still amazed from what she saw. She leaned back on her shoulders to get comfortable.

"tyche is the goddess of luck, but my 'luck' extended to casinos and cards." i said.
' she is really cute.' i thought.

Addison smiled and laughed a little. "I noticed." she replied simply. Addison looked out to the lake. It was so calm, peaceful. She loved it out here. Addison switched her blue eyed gaze to Charlie again.

i watched the cards change shape and out of the corner of my eyes i saw her head move. i lost my focus and the cards fell. I crouched in the sand to pick them up and stepped forward and fell on my face.'i hate my balince'i thought bitterly

Addison kept a laugh from escaping her mouth. "Are you okay?" she asked walking over to where he fell. Addison picked up some of the cards that weren't under Charlie.She waited for a reply.

"im fine." i said. "i never knew that the sand tasted wierd." i took my cards back form addison. her hands were warm. "lets see here" i said softly i held my hand out and felt the cards shoot in to my hand.

Addison smiled and laughed a little. She watched as the cards went back to Charlie's hand. "Impressive as usual." Addison remarked with another smile. Weird she was opening up to someone, she didn't usually do that.

'im having a hard time thinking up new tricks.' i thought. 'im just a rich britsh business man's kid. what can i do to impress her more.'

Addison smiled at him. Then she redirected her gaze to the water. Addison remembered when she first came to camp. It was terrible. She was all alone and no one liked her. Things hadn't changed much since then.

i glanced up and saw a monster rise up from the lake. "HOLY ZUES!" i cried reaching for my sword and shield. as mysword came up at cheast height the monster lashed out. i flew about 10 feet across the beach.

Addison muttered "ξίφος". Her two swords with Hermes's symbol on them came to her hands. Addison trained so hard her whole life, for er... this? She slashed at the monster's head then flipped over to it's back. After taking a dagger to the head, it was dead. Addison rushed over to Charlie. "Are you okay?!" she asked, concerned.

"just winded." i said gasping for breath. " i wasnt ready for that. not ready at all."

Addison was still concerned, that was quite a blow. "Are you sure?" she asked. "It's all good, it's gone."Addison said looking over her shoulder. Yep still dead.

"yeah im fine." i said getting up and winced. "Or maybe not, a few broken ribs at the least." i took the bottle of nectar that was hanging off my side and sipped some. the pain stopped at once. "we shold make sure that it is dead. in stead of assuming its dead."

Addison simply nodded and got up. She still had her twin daggers in her hands. The monster was on the beach, bleeding. Her knife was still in it's head. One would hope it was dead. She put a lot of effort into killing it.

the light weight sword in my hand swung easy in the air. i grasped my blade with both hands and swung down slicing the monsters head off. "Too be sure." i said. watching the beast dissolve in to yellow vapor.

Addison looked at the vapor, which was soon gone. "I wonder how it got into camp. It blocked, the lake is blocked...." she whispered, in deep thought. How could a monster get in here? It wasn't likely, yet it just happened.

"the place is stocked remember. chiron and mr.d would have asked zues or any other gods to help us train. Right?" i said tentenivly.

Addison nodded again. "Yeah, but I handled it just fine." she said. Addison loved knowing she was good at something. Monster killing was one of those things.

I put my hand on her shoulder."you did great." i told her gentely. 'now what?' i thought.
