Oscar sat down on the leaf-covered floor, not able to think straight. His mind was spinning, and he couldn't decipher where he was. In other words, he was lost in the forest. He had never been one to be navigationally skilled. He stared around him, trying to find a path out, but couldn't find one. He hadn't been so lost since the rush of '07. Ahh... Good times... He snapped out of nostalgia lane, and called out to someone - anyone - to see if they could help him.
"Hello? Anybody there? I'm kind of... Lost."

"Lost? At camp?" a snicker came from a tall tree. The British accent evident in the tone of the boy's voice. Almost invisible by the tree's protective leaves, and the sun shinning over head, Jasper poked his head over to see an older camper sit on the leafy forest floor. As far as he knew, as long as you'd been in camp for so long, you'll never get lost. Unless the dities are playing tricks on you. "Can't be much of an old timer are you?" he called down, his blond hair falling over his silver eyes.

"No, I'm not much of an old-timer." Oscar informed the boy, even though he had been at camp for just over two years now. He hadn't left his cabin much, just in case people tempted him back into old habits. It was only now he had confirmed to himself that he wasn't addicted anymore, that he actually left the safety of his bunk. "The name's Oscar, brit-boy. What's yours? You know what, I'm just going to call you brit boy anyway." For some reason, whenever Oscar talked to someone british, the german accent he had worked so hard to get rid of returned. As long as he didn't start singing `Two world wars and one world cup - booyah!` then Oscar could see no danger from the boy.

"It's Jasper, but whatever's clever."he waved his hand dismissively. He leaned back into his invisible position and sighed heavily. As long as this boy isn't annoying, maybe he could be an aquaintance or something. "Hey! Oscar was it? Yeah, something like that. You better know your way around here if you're planning to walk into this forest." Jasper called down, but never moved position.

"Yeah, okay." he shrugged off the boy, slightly annoyed at the fact that he appeared to think he was better than Oscar. Which was sort of true. Jasper didn't get lost in a forest, did he? No. Oscar stood up, and started to climb the tree that Jasper was in. Just for kicks, you know? When you're not allowed illegal substances, adrenalin is a good back up. "So, Jasper, who's your god parent?" he asked, when the pair were face to face on seperate branches.

"Huh?" Jasper snapped awake from his short day dream. He looked down from the place Oscar oncec was and back to the place he is now. Wow. Oscar was either fast and stealthy, or he was super into dream land to notice. Jasper shook his head and gave the boy a sheepish look. "Morpheus. You?"he asked the bigger camper.

"Alastor, god of family feuds. Basically, it means that I can make you and your mother fall out like that." He snapped his fingers, simulating the time taken for the rift to appear. Oscar looked around him, the short silence quickly becoming awkward. "okay..."

"Good luck with that mate." he snickered humorlessly. "Haven't see the folks since...since."he explained. He flipped his hair that fell into his eyes and stared at the older boy with hard, silver eyes. Something about him was creepy to Jasper, but he couldn't place what.

"I've not seen my parents since '04, when I ran away." He told Jasper, bluntly. Oscar never made any bones about his past life. Yes, he steered away from certain areas, but overall he was quite truthfull. "I'm guessing you have parent problems, like the rest if us?" He asked Jasper, raising an eyebrow.

"Nah, I don't remember the 'rents. Last time I know, nobody ever lived past a hundred and twenty years old." he waved his hand as a careless manner. Ever since he got trapped into the Lotus Hotel and Casino, he never thought about his old folks. "Besides, I suppose they never paid attention to me." He couldn't remember them even how hard he tried. So he now moves on, not wanting to reflect on the past. The past is supposed to stay in the past, he thought.

"Never knew the 'rents? Lucky bugger." Oscar sighed. He had spent the last seven years trying to forget his parents, and this dude just forgets them like that? Once again, the silence became awkward, as Oscar looked down at the leafy ground. "Well, I suppose I better be going now." he starts to climb down the tree, leaving Jasper up in the branches.

"I suppose you should." Jasper agreed. He looked up into the blue sky and sighed. Lucky? Him? Nah, it was only coincidental that he got trapped into that hellhole. "Oh, and whenever you get lost, as nymphs. Their better at directions to camp." he said.
