| Mickey gripped the handle of her suitcase, quietly swallowing her nervousness. Would anyone remember her? She assumed not...After all, she hadn't been at camp for over two years. And before that she was only there briefly. Mickey's hand traced along the vines on the outside of the door as she bit her lip. She could already feel the glares from the Aphrodite cabin. 'I miss it...' she thought, gripping the pendant of a silver leaf that hung around get neck. Her father had given this to her before...
Mickey roughly shook her head, feeling as her blonde gaur brushed against her cheeks. With a deep breath, Mickey abruptly opened the door to the cabin and stepped inside. Empty? No, this cabin was never empty. "Hello? Um...anyone here?" she called, tucking loose strands of hair behind her ear. |

He seemed to be talking to someone and I was curious as to who. Though I really should have read those papers over - they sure were a pain to read with the dyslexia but they had some information about our status in the war - I tucked them away in my pocket and saw the girl.
Something clicked in my head as I registered the familiarity that her face sparked. I thought about it for another second before grinning. "Hey Mickey, welcome back! Nice to see your face again, it's been what? Two years?" |
