Genevieve Warwick
| Genevieve spent an uncanny amount of time in cabin two. She was tempted to join cabin three, but she knew that her mother would not appreciate it. After all, Poseidon wasn't her true father, he was her... step-father? Kind of? Despite the question mark that seemed to float over the cabin, the demigod wanted to belong to it. If she was going to be the long-lost daughter of someone, she decided she wanted it to be someone respected. Amphitrite wasn't respected here; neither was she.

The stab Genevieve felt wasn't always of disrespect, but she still felt it cutting into her each day. The glances she caught could be loud or quiet, but they all said the same thing: you do not belong here. A few campers were decent, but most of them could read right through her modern clothing and limited knowledge. She could feel the glances as she sat in the cabin's lounge, paging through an old scrapbook. Pages upon pages were filled with campers from decades - even centuries ago. Gen didn't know much about photography, but she was fairly certain it wasn't a pastime that was centuries old.

Her dark eyes flicked upwards, catching the gaze of an unfriendly sort. Genevieve knew this girl's type; the type that had existed even in the 1700's. This girl was vain and superficial: not worth the demigod's time. She returned to her scrapbook, hoping the girl would continue walking by.

Fern loved making fun of people. It was almost an activity to her. Something about picking out the flaws a person might never notice was satisfying. Their hurt look or angry in some cases was the best part of it. Some knew they'd never win the fight against her so they cried and ran away while others were cocky and ended up with a broken arm or leg a few minutes later. That's what she was doing know in cabin two. The cabin was big enough to just picky anyone out from the crowd and call them rude and cruel names. It only made it worse now that she had a girl on each side of her laughing at whatever she said and agreeing with her. On Fern's left side was a small, petite blonde daughter of Iris who's hair was obviously dyed a white blondish color. Fern found it odd that a daughter of Iris would be mean considering most of them were sunshine and rainbows all the time. On her left side was a stocky brunette who was a daughter of Nike. She didn't know either of their names and didn't care to find out.

Fern was starting to get bored of the girls' laughs at whatever she said and eventually told them to leave her alone or they'd regret it for the rest of their lives. With hurt and angry looks on their face, they whispered to each other about Fern before leaving her alone. She couldn't help but roll her eyes before turning around and see her next victim. She leaned against the bunk while watching her. She was pretty, and she had seen her around camp before. Something about her was different, but Fern couldn't tell what. When her eyes met the other demigoddess', she couldn't help but smirk when she looked back down at the scrapbook.

Fern didn't know which way to go about the girl. There were two different ways she could go. The first one being pretending to be friends with her and backstabbing the poor girl later, or just calling her out now in the busy cabin for everyone to see. Fern preferred the latter even though the first way was more painful to the person. She was itching for a fight, and her dagger was practically throbbing in her jean's back pocket begging to be used. Fern got up and walked over to the girl in a fast and swift movement with her flannel fanning out behind her almost like a cape. When she topped in front of the girl, she crossed her arms over her chest. "What the hell are you doing?" She asked a bit loudly so people could see what she was about to do. She could already see a few heads were turning their way.

Genevieve Warwick
| Genevieve continued paging through the worn binding of the scrapbook, glancing at faces she didn't know and would never meet. There was  something satisfying about seeing others that didn't belong to this era. They were smiling in most of the pictures, and she would've smiled back if it wasn't for the blonde that was patrolling the area. She was itching for a fight, it was obvious. The teenager knew that expression from years she had spent on the sea. Her father's crewmen would often spar with each other to let out some steam. Most of the time no one got hurt, but occasionally things would get out of control. This girl seemed like she wanted something to happen: something only she could control.

The demigod, on the other hand, was not looking for a fight. She was content with minding her own business while everyone else lived their lives separate from her's. Genevieve wanted no trouble from Camp Half Bloods members; she had no quarrel with any of them. The only problem with them she seemed to have was that she - despite her wishes - was different. The blonde girl was still walking about the cabin with a smirk on her face. A feeling in her gut told her she was in for a rough time.

When the girl spoke, Genevieve's nose instantly crinkled. Her voice had carried through the room, causing head's to turn. Normally she would've retracted into herself, but the demigod was not going to be pushed around by some jerk. "Looking through this," the demigod responded icily, holding up the scrapbook. Gen rose from her position on the couch, wanting to be the same height as her opponent. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" she countered, eyes narrowing as she matched the girl's stance.

Fern watched as the girl's nose crinkled. Her eyebrows went up when the other demigod responded icily. Fern couldn't help but let out a small laugh. This girl thought she could talk to her that way? No one talked to her like that nor would she let them. She wasn't going to let some new girl won this fight. She had been in enough physical and verbal fights. She won all of them. And if she didn't, she'd get her revenge one way or another like her mother would.

When the brunette stood up, Fern noticed they were around the same height. She had to admit the girl had some nerve to stand up to her, but she was about to loose that confidence in a few minutes. "Oh just making fun of girl who obviously doesn't belong." She responded calmly while she grabbed hold of a small chunk of the girl's brown hair and gently tugging on it. She let go of the girl's hair in a swift movement and crossed her arms over her chest again before adding, "Now why don't you do all of us a favor and go be a waste of space somewhere else."

Fern could hear the murmurs of the other campers in the cabin. She knew most of them were about her and the other girl. Fern have the other girl a smirk that said, I'm going to win no matter what you do. She was actually helping her out by giving her that warning smirk, but whether she understood it or used the information wisely was up to the brunette. Fern's dagger was practically growing heavier in her back pocket and was ready to be used at any moment. She would've pulled it out right then and there, but she decided to wait a few moments. She just hoped a camper wouldn't go run off and tell Chiron what she was doing otherwise she wouldn't get to finish her fun. She knew the campers wouldn't because she's find out the tattletale and give him something to really tell on her for. The whispers continued as Fern waited for the other girl's response, and she couldn't help but feel stronger from that. Fern was a girl who thrived on attention.

Genevieve Warwick
| Despite growing up surrounded by angry men, Genevieve understood how emotionally confused females seemed to be. This particular girl seemed exceedingly confused. The demigod's eyes went colder as the girl laughed. Her face was blank of emotion with her features relaxed and free of distress. However, inside she was boiling. Modern girls were so stupid! How was she supposed to adapt with the knowledge that she was constantly being judged? Gen decided that this girl's laugh was also stupid.

Being from the past also meant that she was taller than the average, modern girl. Back in the 1760's she was tall, but now she was short in comparison. However she was the same height as the witch in front of her, which was refreshing. 'She must be shorter to be closer to hell' Genevieve thought to herself. She listened as the girl spoke, recoiling into herself as the girl reached out to touch her hair. "Don't touch me," the teenager spoke calmly, taking a step away from her.

Genevieve raised an eyebrow at the girl. "If I am a waste of space, what does that make you?" she asked, the corners of her lips curving into a small grin. The demigod heard a few other chuckles from the onlookers. Her smile stopped. She wasn't going to let this girl win by getting attention. She was better than that. "But, please, excuse me while I go on existing." Gen's tone was dripping with sarcasm and mockery as she began to head back to her bunk.

Fern couldn't help but smile when the girl told her not to touch her. She didn't care what the girl told her to do or not to do. She'd do whatever she wanted when she wanted to. That's what caused her next move. She grabbed another chunk of the girl's hair and tugged again except not as gently this time before asking, "What are you going to do if I do touch you?" she let go of her hair again before running her hand on her jeans as if the other demigoddess had germs. The whispers and laughs continued which only made Fern want to make the fight last longer. She'd be able to do that fairly easy. She knew enough insults and rude comments to keep it going before she pulled out her dagger. It'd be any moment now before she whipped it out and had it pointed at the new camper.

Fern watched at the girl smiled as if she was winning. She was far from it. "Unlike you, I'm a great use of space and don't sit around and look at old scrapbooks by myself like a loser." After she said that, a few more laughs and snickers came from the crown gathering around the pair. She couldn't help but give her a smirk of her own. She watched again as the brunette walked away. Fern wouldn't let her get away, not now. Before the girl could get far, Fern shoved her against the wall with her dagger at her throat in a quick movement. "Look where existing got you now." She hissed while holding the dagger firmly.

Genevieve Warwick
| Genevieve liked personal space. She enjoyed isolating herself from others, especially right now. She was uncomfortable in such close proximity to everyone here; she felt as if she caught modern germs from those who she lived with. That wasn't true of course, the demigod was vaccinated. Apparently this girl, who still seemed intent on bothering her, hadn't taken anything for her hormonal imbalances. "Ow," the teenager replied dully, rolling her eyes. This girl had the attention span of a child. The tug on her hair was sharper than the first, but Gen had felt worse things. "I will ignore you," she responded, making her move away from the conversation.

It took Genevieve a few seconds to remember was 'loser' meant. She frowned, continuing to walk past the other demigoddess. This girl wasn't worth it. Just as she thought that, though, she felt hands on her shoulders, shoving her roughly against the wall. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Gen exclaimed, leaning her head against the wall to avoid the girl's dagger. "Has anyone ever told you that you should see a therapist?" Her question was rhetorical; Gen doubted the girl would actually act on the force she was applying. She began focusing on her powers, attempting to drag water from the bathrooms to come to her aid.

Fern had been in plenty of situations like this before, but something was different. It was making her nervous and that wasn't good. She hated being nervous and unsure of what to do. She always knew what to do in fights. The only thing she could think of that would make her nervous is not knowing the girl's god parent. She could be the daughter of a Titan or on the other hand a daughter of a minor god or goddess like Fern was. She could be dead in seconds if she didn't know who her god parent was. She didn't care even though her nerves proved to feel differently. She treated everyone all the same, she had once made fun of a daughter of Zeus and she perfectly fine now. It just depended of luck was on her side or not, and today it felt like it wasn't. She wasn't going to show it though, she kept a cool facade even though she was freaking out on the inside.

"Don't act like you're perfectly normal. I know there's something different about you, and I'm going to find out." She threatened through clenched teeth. She had said it low enough so only the girl could hear and not the crowd that beginning to get bigger and was starting to point. Fern heard her question about a therapist and that only made her angrier. She remembered the first few years after her parents' died she went to dozens of therapists none of them knew what to do with her. There's wasn't anything she could do, nothing to make her forget that horrible night. She pressed the dagger  closer to her throat as she moved away. It was about to draw blood at any moment and for a moment she wished she could've shoved it all the way into her neck. Perhaps she did need a therapist, but she wasn't going to say anything about it. She would never share any private information on her life with some dumb girl. She had shared it once with Nathan, but he disappeared and here she was like where she was before. Alone.

Genevieve Warwick
| Genevieve had experienced daggers against her throat before, but normally under safer circumstances. She used to play fight with Cassius when she was growing up, but the swords were made of wood then. Now everything was sharp and deadly. Childhood was certainly nice while it lasted. The demigod inhaled and exhaled through her nose, careful not to move her neck too much. She didn't want to risk getting cut by any blade, especially one that belonged to someone who lived under the same roof that she did. Her hoodie could've saved her from the uncomfortable metal, but it wasn't high enough on her neck. She felt exposed, but like the other girl, she wasn't showing any emotion.

"How considerate of you," Genevieve muttered, her voice still calm and collected. In the back of her mind she was still focusing on the water trailing from the nearest bathroom stink to her fingertips. It was difficult to have the water quiet, but after a few more seconds she could feel the water. A smirk formed on her face. "Back off bish," she breathed, streamlining the water at the girl's chest. It came in a fierce wave, enough to give Genevieve the time she needed to avoid the dagger. Once she was free the water splashed to the ground. Gen wasn't going to attack again unless aggravated. While she waited for a response the bathroom water began pooling around her feet, slowly crawling up her body back to her fingers.

Fern loved her dagger almost as if it were a part of her. So when the water hit her dagger, she was pissed off. She could've cared less what happened to her as she stumbled and fell to the ground. Her clothes and her hair was wet, but she didn't notice as she searched frantically for her dagger. It was obvious the girl's god parent had something to go with water, but she didn't have time to think about it as she stood up with her dagger in her right hand. Her blonde hair was dripping water onto the floor, but her eye blazed with anger all the same. "You think you're a hotshot now, huh? Well you won't be anymore." Without hesitation she threw her precious dagger with great precision and aim and it hit exactly where she intended it. It was right next to the girl's head, and a hair away from her head. Fern crossed her arms again waiting for the girl's next move.

Fern would never back down from a fight. It was something she never did even if she'd die from it. She had come close to dying one time in the arena where she had gotten to cocky, but somehow she was still alive. Nobody stood up to her and she'd make sure it stayed that way. If camp had a yearbook, her name would be under 'Not to be messed with.' She'd get her revenge on you whether you knew it or not. You could do something so small to her like accidentally waking her up early on a Saturday morning and she'd hate you forever. It was something she'd learned from her real mom and her step-mom. To get your revenge eventually and to be manipulative. It was like peanut butter and jelly, it went together perfectly. "What are you? The daughter of the goddess of toilet water?" She asked, taunting her. She only knew the water was from the bathroom because it smelled like the toilet water she used to dunk kids heads in. Whether it was shower water, toilet water, or sink water, she didn't care. It smelled. Fern gave the girl a smirk of her own before waiting for her to do something before she did something else.

Genevieve Warwick
| The sight of an angry, half-drowned girl was supposed to be amusing, but this girl seemed more like an angry, soaked badger than a person. There was something feral about her and Genevieve didn't like it. She watched the girl snatch her dagger, which she obvious cared about, from the flooring. The demigod stayed still as she watched her opponent, her eyes not displaying the discomfort she felt. Gen heard the dagger move before she blinked, seeing the projectile moving towards her. She continued to mimic a statue, though, so she didn't get stabbed. "Nice aim," the teenager muttered appreciatively, turning to pull the dagger out of the wall.

She wasn't enjoying this experience, but she wasn't particularly terrified either. Years aboard a ship, facing sea storms and angry men had given her a thick skin. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Genevieve replied, smiling whilst she turned the dagger in her free hand. There wasn't anything particularly special about it, at least not to her. Gen guessed that the girl adored it, though. "Do you want this back?" she asked innocently, holding it out to the other girl.

Fern's dagger was something she had trained with since she first came to camp. She couldn't have another dagger even though hers was really old. There were too many memories she had with it, and seeing the other demigod with it in her hand made her even angrier. She had heard the girl's compliment about her aim. That was something she spent over a month in. First aim, then speed. It had taken her almost a whole year to do something basic, but it definitely helped in fights. She was starting to shiver from the cold water she was splashed with. Her exterior was freezing, but her interior was blazing with anger. She watched as the demigoddess picked up the dagger and turned it as if it were nothing. She loved the dagger even if it practically looked unusable.

The girl asked her if she wanted it back. Of course she wanted it back, had she not seen her search the floor in a panic for it? She wasn't going to say it though, she'd never give in. If she broke it even if by accident, Fern would kill the girl in minutes no matter who her god parent was. She'd rather be cursed by a god or goddess for the rest of her life than give in. She shrugged. "Do I want that back? Of course not. You can keep it if you want, it's garbage anyway." She looked at her nails as if she was bored which she was far from. She was panicking on the inside, but also anxious to see what the girl would do. If she took it, Fern would without a doubt hurt her badly. If she gave it back to her, she might not hurt her as much as if she took it. Fern liked the girl in a way, she didn't back down which she admired in a way but would never admit to her. But either way, the girl wasn't leaving without getting hurt.

Genevieve Warwick
| Weapons were a strange thing: tools used to kill, maim, or harm. They came in a variety of shapes, sizes and styles. This girl's dagger confused Genevieve, though. It wasn't the celestial bronze metal or the worn handle that confused her, it was the fact that it wasn't shiny and new. This girl seemed materialistic, and this dagger was not exactly a suitable tool for someone like that. The demigod concluded that the piece of metal in her hands was important to  the girl. She wasn't sure what to do with that kind of information, though.

Gen figured the girl was lying. She was pretending to be uninterested, but something about her radiated anger. "You can have it back," the teenager muttered, carefully setting the dagger on the seat. Genevieve couldn't do much with it anyways, even if she did want it, it was falling apart. After ridding herself of the dagger the demigod sent all the water particles she had used back into the bathroom. Each molecule removed itself from all the clothing and flooring  it had touched, and moved down the hall towards the drain. For half a second she pitied the girl. How awful would it be to think the only way to make people notice you was with angry outbursts. Something terrible must have happened to her. The second soon faded though, and Gen resumed effort to leave the situation.

Fern wasn't used to people being nice to her. It was a rare occasion that someone ever was nice, and this happened to be one of those occasions. She never knew what to do in these situations. Should she instantly changer to her old self? Or continue being mean to the person? She watched out of the corner of her eye as the girl set the dagger down, and her heart leapt with joy. She muttered so only the girl could hear, "Thanks." The crowd around then was beginning to break up at the realization a real fight wouldn't go down today. In a way, Fern was relieved that she didn't have to fight her. It was always nerve racking to her to fight someone that had powers when she didn't.

Fern waited until most of the crowd left before reaching over and taking her dagger back. She stuck it in her back pocket where she usually put it before looking at the girl again. "What ere you doing with that scrapbook anyway?" She asked curiously. She could barely remember the last time someone had looked in them. No one seemed to find them interesting, but obviously she did. "I'm Fern, daughter of Nemesis." She said, almost as if her mother explained why she was mean all the time. "You're new, right?" She inquired before taking a step closer.

Genevieve Warwick
| Genevieve understood the concept of changing who you are or wanted to be to fit a mold set by society. Near the end of her 18th century life she was melting into the shape of a normal woman, who would stay at home and take care of her children. This girl, though, was not interested in fitting into a mold. She - and she alone - was going to be the force that decided what kind of person she was going to be. The teenager didn't know the other demigod well enough to say what she was trying to be, but whatever it was, it was probably exhausting. When the girl, Fern, thanked her, Gen simply raised an eyebrow. "You're welcome." The crowd soon parted, apparently deciding that the main event was coming to a close.

She had planned on leaving with those as they left, but the girl wasn't done speaking. "I was looking at it," Gen replied crisply, keeping her back close to the wall, almost into the hallway. While Fern's mood seemed to have lightened, the demigod still didn't trust her. She decided not to share her name or godly parent with the girl. Something about Fern screamed anger and unpredictable: two things Genevieve didn't want to deal with. "I guess you could say that," she answered. The teenager had been in camp for two months, but it still felt like she had moved in yesterday.

When the crowd left, the rude part of herself almost left. She was still going to be mean and sarcastic to her, but maybe not as mean as she was before. It was something she did with everyone so it wasn't like she only did it for certain people. Some people got her nerves more than others. Overall, Fern was a nice and caring girl after you really tried to get to know her. She was a difficult person to be around, and she knew that from the manny comments and whispers around camp. But she couldn't take a chance. She didn't need to get her heart broken after someone else died because of her.

Fern rolled her eyes at the girl's response. "No shit, Sherlock." She responded sarcastically before folding her arms over her chest again. "Why were you looking at it?" She asked, attempting to reword her question. No one really looked in the scrapbooks and it was rare that she ever did see someone even touch them. No one wanted to look at old pictures of campers from years ago. Fern could tell that the girl was new because she had rarely seen her. She knew almost everyone in the cabin because she had practically made fun of everyone at one point or another. Fern didn't care who you were or what your age was or how new you were. You'd get your time to be made fun of sometime while you were at camp. This girl happened to get it earlier than most.
