| _________________________________________________________________________ BELLE ❅ ❅ NEIGEI really can't stay But baby it's cold outside I've got to go 'way Belle entered her personal room, a glowing blue light shining from the small crevice that resided above her bed, showering the room in a brilliant light sky color. She walked over, taking off her shoes and setting them in her closet. She still had socks on though. She didn't want her feet to freeze and have to get an amputation. She shuddered, suddenly feeling the need to put on a jacket. Although she could stand much lower temperatures than humanly possible, she wasn't totally invulnerable. She slipped on a jacket and collapsed down on her bed, her mind wandering. She began to think about the new cabin leaders that were chosen this year. She seemed like a sort of veteran. All these new faces. She then realized she didn't know very many people. Plus, she hadn't seen Olivia in forever. Belle rolled over, wishing that sleep would come more easily just for once. She thought back to the manticore attack and how Olivia was put in the infirmary. Oh man, and it was sort of her fault too. Belle squeezed her eyes closed, beginning to hate herself more than usual. She heard her owl, who sat upon the dresser, hoot, as if he sensed something was wrong. She unclenched her eyes and sat up. "It's okay. You can go out hunting for food now if you like," she said. The owl just cocked his head. He only responded to french. Belle scolded herself for forgetting. "Allez," she said and the owl took off, flying out of the cabin. She looked around the lonely room of hers. She knew that she could not stay for very much longer. There was a term limit, and Belle was reaching it. She was also growing. Campers couldn't stay in camp forever. Sighing, she pulled a book off of her shelf and began to read, trying her best to push away troubling thoughts.I've got to get home But baby you'll freeze out there Say, lend me a coat | |
