Maddison strolled through courtyard, heading no where in particular. She had her shoulders hunched over and her arms hugged herself. She couldn't say she was cold, but her tank white tank top didn't do much justice in fifty degree weather. She was still so used to a blinding sun and warm wind. She missed being able to not have to worry about the temperature. Then again, Maddison missed a lot of things about her home.
It wasn't just Florida's beautiful weather she was craving. More than ever, she felt a need, a desperation almost, for her family. Not her foster though; no not her drunk father and quiet mother. She missed the Carters. Julia and Suzanne were the kindest people she knew, the people she was most comfortable with. Now she was a good day or two away from them. The only people she loved were on the other side of the country.
She brushed her hair out of her face and let her arms fall back down to her sides. She didn't know what she was doing, where she was going, or how this was going to end. All she knew is that she wanted to get the hell out of her cabin. She'd spent weeks sitting on her bunk and reading. She'd had enough solitude.
But Maddison didn't know how to end this lack of social interaction. She had always been slightly reclusive, but now it was getting out of hand. She'd been here for nearly a year now and had made no friends. Sure, she knew a few people who she'd say hi to when she passed them, but she hadn't met anyone like Julia. Well, to be fair, no one was like Julia.
She stopped underneath one of the trees that protruded from the forest that surrounded the courtyard. She slide down the trunk and hit the ground with a thump. The dirt beneath her legs made her shiver. She shut her eyes, trying to think of something she could do.

Daisy hadn't made a friend in awhile. She had decided that while she was planting in the back of the Demeter cabin. She had been so busy with cabin leader things she didn't have the chance to talk to anyone. She did have the other cabin leaders, but they weren't nearly as fun and giggly as her.

Daisy got dressed and did her hair in a few minutes before actually leaving the cabin. She let her feet carry her to wherever they wanted. She walked along the cabins as she remembered which cabin was for which god parent. She didn't talk much to people in the other cabins. She mostly talked to people within her cabin because they all already had something in common; gardening. Daisy just loved gardening. It gave her something to do and she was outside. She had gotten a tan lately from working outside all the time. She had planted all different types of flowers and vegetables in the cabin's garden. She had of course planted her favorite flower, daisies.

Daisy ended up in the cabin courtyard. She hadn't been there in awhile. She saw some people there already. Some kids were playing soccer in the corner while some older teens were talking amongst themselves. She tried looking for a lonely teen so she didn't interrupt their conversations. Her eyes landed on a blonde that was in sitting against tree. Daisy grinned widely and strolled over to her. It would be easier to talk to her considering she was alone and it would be easier for her to become friends with her.

Daisy sat next to the girl and smiled again, showing off her perfect white teeth. "Hey. I'm Daisy." She said and giggled. "Who are you?" She asked, raising both of her blonde eyebrows.
