I've been feeling real good
came a long way from misunderstood
Emily walked out of the Zeus cabin. She wanted to start drawing. She had started her central park picture awhile ago, but never got to finish it with the elections and all. She was still surprised she won. She had a lot to do still, decorating the cabin and planning events. She didn't get a chance to relax yet and this was her one and only chance.
Emily walked passed by the cabins. She saw the little kids playing soccer in the cabin courtyard. She remembered that when she was younger. At first, people had not wanted to talk to her for being daughter of Zeus. She was an outcast. She still remembered that feeling when she walked around camp. She didn't have that many friends. She didn't really care though. She did have a few good friends and that's all she needed. She still remembered her two old best friends still at home. They hadn't visited or talked to her for years. She would sometimes wonder how they were, but still missed them. The three of them had been inseparable. She also thought about the twins. Her younger sister probably still hated her, she couldn't change her mind about that though. She had tried so many times before, but she still didn't like her. She had stopped trying a few years ago.
Emily continued walking toward the Mess Hall. She wanted to grab a cup of coffee before going to central park. She walked into the Mess Hall, waiting on the line. It was mid-morning and people were still waiting for breakfast. She sighed and waited for her turn on line. When her turn came, she quickly made her cup of coffee to leave. As she turned around, she knocked into someone and spilled her coffee on herself and on them. She sighed, grabbing some napkins. It had already soaked her shirt and the coffee was burning her pale skin. It didn't hurt to her at least. She handed the person some napkins and apologized. "I'm sorry." She said, putting on an apologetic smile.
