Natalia Breanna Riley
n n n Daughter of Terpsichore

Natalia was simply doing absolutely nothing. She was going to get a new mattress since the old one was shredded to bits and was terrible. She didn't want to get the same mattress from camp, it just gave her cramps when she woke up in the morning. She was getting a tad hungry though. She wasn't really in the mood for anything healthy. She cringed. Healthy food.. ew, She had thought. Then the thought came to her she could go get some frozen yogurt.

Natalia walked into the yogurt shop. She hadn't gotten frozen yogurt in awhile, so she had simply wanted to get some today. It was a hot day and the ice cream shop was just too far away. Plus, they didn't have good yogurt like this in California. She was going to back to California for school. She was going into 11th this year. She didn't really want to go to school, but her dad made her so she kind've didn't have a choice. She was bored of school, they didn't have any dances or school trips or anything, camp was more interesting. And since the zombie apocalypse, had just ended everything just seemed boring to her.

Natalia walked up to the counter and requested vanilla yogurt in a cone. She had simply paid the money and walked over to a booth. She had on her NYC shirt with her studded shorts. She of course had on her Sharks snapback on and her black high tops. She continued licking her ice cream. In a matter of seconds, she had finished her yogurt. She had gotten up to get another one, chocolate on this time. When she came back to her booth, someone else was sitting there. "Hey, I hope you don't if I sit here." She said and licked her yogurt.

“We're all part of this insane world, so let's enjoy it yeah?”

entertain me?

Seth was beyond beyond bored. He sat slumped, leaning against the padded back of his seat, fingers idly tracing the edge of the table. Ever since the Apocalypse ended, he had partaken in the hustle getting everything in camp back the way it was. But after a fortnight of the same repairing and restoring, he was sick of the wreckage sorting and the messy ridding of decaying flesh left over when the necromantic spells ended. Deciding that a break from camp was needed, the demigod set out to the nearest city and popped into the first shop that invoked his interest. It didn't hold for long.

He placed his elbows on the table and propped his chin on the back of both hands, staring at the menu without actually seeing it. After about five seconds in the same position, Seth gave up. This is not working, he pondered, frowning. What I need is... what do I even want to do? Certainly not eat yoghurt.

Suddenly aware of a hovering presence above him, Seth looked up. A contented grin flickered across his face. Someone to talk to. Exactly what I need. He had a feeling she had said something but he had been too distracted to hear, though Seth was certain he could guess.

"Sure," he nodded, grin widening to a charming smile. He waited till she sat and made herself comfortable before asking casually, "So, how're you doing?" Not that Seth actually knew her, but starting conversations came naturally to him: he did it all the time even when he wasn't bored. However, taking a closer look at the girl, he had to admit that she did look fairly familar.

all this time I was finding myself
And I didn't know I was lost

She smiled at him. He did look quite familiar, but just shoved the thought to the back of her head. Don't tell him you're a demigod. He might not even be one, She had thought. She shrugged at his question. "Not really good, but not bad either I suppose. I have to clean yup a big mess. Like a really big mess. I just don't like cleaning it up I guess." She said. Natalia finished the last of her yogurt and threw the rest out. It felt nice to finally have something tasty and sugary after the zombie apocalypse. She sighed. She didn't even feel like going back to camp. She would just have to clem up so more. She could really do much at camp considering everything was covered with the zombie mess. The only thing left was go back to her father. That was a definite no considering she didn't want to see her step-sister or step-mother. She just hated them. She didn't even understand why he loved her. Was he just too blind to see that she just wanted his money? For gods sake, she had even told him. And his response was just, Oh honey I'm going to marry her. He didn't even talk to her about it.

Natalia looked back at they boy. She didn't even know his name. She smiled at him again. "I'm Natalia. You can call me whatever you'd like really." She said and shrugged. "Who are you?" She asked and tilted her head to the side.

That was so exactly like what he had been dealing with that Seth nearly spilled out his rant there and then. If he did, the girl would've been exorbitantly acquainted with all the sticky, messy and gross, but no doubt interesting details of zombie garbage. Fortunately, he was able to prevent himself from explaining the process in all its grandness. The tale would have to wait till he wanted to disturb someone excessively.

"Me?" Seth grinned and spread his arms wide, nearly whacking an entering customer. "I am the one everyone's been looking for," he proclaimed dramatically, as was his natural inclination to do so. He folded his arms on the table and leaned forward. "You can also call me Seth. Nice to meet you, Nataila."

He contemplated again however, and Seth decided that there wouldn't be any harm getting that rant out. What else could they talk about, anyway? Whether spoons or forks were better to eat yoghurt with? He snorted inwardly, waiting for the absolute inappropriate moment to spring his tale.

"Seems like everyone's in a mess today," Seth commented, his gaze following Nataila's spoon with mild interest.
