Emily Arabella Thomas Daughter of Zeus
Emily quickly grabbed her drawing notebook off the shelf with a smile on her face. She was going to Central Park to start a drawing she had in mind of the park. But of course first she was going to get a cup of coffee at the coffee shop around the corner from the park. Emily put her notepad and colored pencils in her shoulder bag. She also included her charcoal pencils so she could do an outline first and then color it in with her colored pencils. She hadn't drawn in a long time. But she had started the drawing a couple of months ago so she decided to finish the rest of it.
Emily left cabin in her pink plaid shirt with her favorite white high waisted shorts and her black high tops. She had done in a braid bun and for makeup had some black eyeliner on. On the way out, she had seen some friends and talk to them for a few minutes before actually leaving camp. Just before she past the camp entrance she looked around, just to make sure Mr. D and Chiron weren't looking. When they weren't looking she went past the camp border.
Emily didn't really like New York. The people here were so mean. They pushed her her or smashed her with their bags without even telling her sorry or looking at her. She missed England where the people were a bit more polite and actually said sorry to you. But she was still stuck here one way or another. At least some of her half-brothers and half-sisters were leaving to go to school. She wondered what it felt like again to go to school She had forgotten what it felt like to have homework. Ugh homework, She had thought. That was thing she least missed about school. She did miss her old friends Sunny and Kyle. Did they miss her?
When she had gotten to the coffee shop, she had looked around. It was a tad full, but there wouldn't be a long wait so she was happy. When she had gotten to the counter, the cashier was biting her nails. Emily wanted to cringe and go to another coffee shop for coffee, but refrained from that. "Um.. I'll have a coffee please." She had said to her in her accent. The cashier rolled her eyes at her and told her the total. She had paid her the money. After, the coffee was done she put her sugar and creamer in it. She had sat down at a table for a few minutes and drank her coffee and started doodling. When she had taken a few sips, she closed her notebook and went to leave the coffee shop with her notebook in her hand and her coffee in her other hand. When she looked over her shoulder for a quick minute, she had bumped into someone spilling her coffee on both the other person and herself. "Bloody hell, regarder où vous allez!" She had said in French before translating it into English. "Watch where you're going!" She quickly put her coffee or what she had left of her coffee on a nearby table and quickly opened her notebook. The page where she had started her drawing had her coffee on it. it must've seeped through the few first pages and onto her drawing. "Regardez ce que vous avez fait!" She yelled at them in French angrily. She practically had steam coming out of her ears and her blue eyes turned to a green.
Parker Isaiah Kahn Son of Ares -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parker pays the cab driver, and steps on to the curb, kicking the door shut, as the cabbie speeds away. Smiling lightly, he looks around at the hustle and bustle around him. Not that he will ever admit this out loud, but the brunette loves the city. Something about it just seems magical. Still smiling, the boy sets off down the street, heading towards central park.
He has no real reason for being in the city, so he plans to spend the day walking around, and maybe doing a bit of shopping. He has decided that the first place he will visit, is Central Park. Perhaps, he will go to the zoo, as it is one of his favorite places to visit. He enjoys watching the animals in their habitats.
As he walks down the sidewalk, Parker spots a coffee shop and decides to stop. He enters the small, yet busy shop and stands in the back of the line. He spends a few minutes in line, slowly moving up after the people in front of him and paid and ordered. Just as he steps up to order, the girl in front of him turns around and they collide. The girls hot coffee spills on both of them, and manages to burn part of Parker's arm.
Angered, he glares at the girl, as he reaches for a napkin to wipe the coffee off of his arm. At first he is confused when she speaks in another language, but when she switches to english, he perfectly understands what she is saying to him. And what she has to say makes him mad. Watch where he is going? This is her fault not his. She should know people would be behind her, there is no way that this is his fault.
"Watch where I am going? Why don't you watch where you are going?"he snaps at her. "That was your fault, blondie. Did you honestly think that there would not be someone behind you? Watch where you are going next time"he says to her, his tone showing his anger. He can not help but laugh when he shows her the drawing. "Oh boo-hoo, go cry a river, your drawing is ruined. Newsflash, so is my t-shirt, you don't see me crying. Make a new one, it's a bad drawing anyways"he says to her. Not that he will admit it, but the second part of that statement is a lie. The girls drawing is very nice, but he is mad and he will not admit that.

"How is it my fault. Maybe you should watch it next time brunette." She growled back. "Your t-shirt?" She said looking at his shirt. "You can go to K-Mart and get the same shirt for five dollars." She said. "In fact here. Here's the five dollars I don't need it anyway!" She took some money out of her pocket and threw it at him. "I couldn't care less." She looked at ground where she had thrown her money. Now she would have to walk back to camp. She didn't really care because she could always ask her mother for more. When he said it was a bad drawing, thunder crackled outside. "Maybe I will!" She said to him. Then the business owner had saw them fighting. He started pushing them out the door, signaling he didn't want a fight to break out in his coffee shop. "Don't touch me." She snapped at the owner, yanking his hand off her shoulder. The owner closed the door behind them once they were outside. She turned to the boy. "Thanks a lot." She said and rolled her now blue eyes at him.
