I don't like being the only one who entered. I don't know if my art was actually all that great enough to compete with others and stuff, because no one had a choice but to pick me because I was the only one ;n;

I agree that it sucks no one else entered the contest. We were really looking forward to seeing a lot of great and creative entries. It's always disheartening when we only get one entry for things like this and the fanfiction contest. Of course, I understand that people have different and completely legitimate reasons for not participating but it still discourages us from holding contests like them again in the future

I completely understand how you're feeling right now and I'm very sorry. Please know that just because you won this by default doesn't mean you should feel any less proud or confident about your artwork. I assure you that your drawing truly is fantastic and I'm positive you would've had an fair chance of taking first place even if we had received 20 different entries. I apologize if I made you uncomfortable by putting up this poll and if you feel as though I was making fun of or belittling you by doing it as those were not my intentions in the least.

Ah, it wasn't our intention to make you feel bad at all! This happened on another site too, where only one entry was sent in, and we made the poll like that there and everyone seemed to find it humorous and have a good time. It was our assumption that the result would be the same here--that was our mistake! I do believe that you have a fabulous entry, though. Just the detail you put into it, to get that rotting effect, plus the expression *v* you definitely captured a zombie-esque feel, and as Crispy said I definitely think it was a good piece that could've stood a chance whether there were two or twenty entries. uvu
