| Shane Gulliver Clifton- Spoiler:
My name is Shane, and I like to make stuff. I’m a Son of Hephaestus, so I was kinda born with the aptitude and ability to make things. I was also born with a small control over fire, but that’s not important. Oh and if you didn’t catch it by my name, I’m a guy. At the moment I was creating my newest weapon, an axe crafted from celestial bronze but coated in stainless steel. Ooo man, this gives me the chills just thinking about it. As I waited for the metal to cool, I was drawing an armored man in my notebook. How cool would it be to order one of these guys around? But, that’s just wishful thinking… or is it? As I thought, I grabbed my blueprint notebook and started to sketch some designs.

Brief History:
Shane doesn’t have much of a history. His mother met Hephaestus one day when she was manufacturing a satellite for NASA. Ever since Shane’s Mother, Jennifer, was a little girl, she had loved to work with tools. She fixed cars, made car parts, and eventually, she went off to MIT to get a degree in engineering. She didn’t stop at just a degree, she went to Grad School and got a Master’s and eventually completed her thesis, getting a Doctorate.
Jennifer shortly after getting her Doctorate, started working with NASA on a satellite, which would orbit the moon of Jupiter and take pictures. She met Hephaestus that day, disguised as a fellow Engineer named Hugh. “Hugh” and Jennifer dated for two weeks, in which she had confessed that he was Hephaestus to her. Afterward, one thing led to another, and as Hephaestus left to go back to Olympus, Jennifer found out she had become pregnant.
Jennifer had a tough time when Shane was born, her work called for her to be at her office frequently, and she wanted to be there for her son. So when she was gone, she had hired a babysitter who turned into a nanny short afterward. He was a man named Jonathan. Jonathan was an odd man who talked to the baby as if he was a full-grown adult. He told the baby he was destined for greatness. When Shane grew older and Jennifer started dating Shane’s future stepfather, Jonathan started to train the boy how to fight. He taught him a specific fighting style unique to himself. He was able to fight very well with his fists and be able to use heavy, one-handed, and dual wield weapons and use shields as well by the time he was twelve. Jonathan called this fighting style the Aegean Forms. Shane was a kid who was more capable of fighting than most adults. Shane in his free time, made various things and was quite good at it.
Jennifer started to realize something was amiss when she got a call from school when Shane was thirteen about him breaking a kid’s arm and almost killing him with a chop to the neck. Jennifer asked how Shane was able to do those things and told her that he was taught to. When Jennifer asked who taught him, Shane didn’t reply.
One night, Jonathan started talking to Shane. He told him that he had a destiny, one that would eventually be the end of him. Yet, he was fated to have glory. This man had a fight with Jennifer that very night. Jonathan told her that he had to do this since she refused to send him to that camp. Jennifer told him she knew what he was and told him, to stay away from Shane. The man wanted to fight back, but instead, disappeared in a Golden Flash.
Once Shane had turned fourteen, his mother and stepfather drove him to a camp. She told him to stay at the camp and he would come home on holidays and breaks. Shane nodded and went into the camp where the beginning of his destiny was within.
Physical Appearance:
Shane stands at 6’1” and weighs 167 lbs. He has medium-length light brown hair and blue eyes. He has a muscular neck and shoulders which fits with his muscular physique. He has slightly big hands with nimble and thin fingers for intricacy when he makes weapons and armor in the forges.
Shane usually wears V-neck t-shirts, and always wears a beanie unless he is wearing armor. He sometimes wears a black cardigan and sometimes wears fleeces.
Personality:
Shane is usually pretty laid back and light-hearted, although if the situation calls for seriousness, he will get serious. He likes to keep to himself unless he has a good friend to talk to. He owns several sketchpads, notebooks, and journals where he expresses his creativity there. He draws, creates diagrams for weapons/armor, and writes. Since he doesn’t want to seem weird in front of other people, he uses paper to express his real self there.
Fatal Flaw:
Claustrophobia and Hubris.
Pets:
Humphrey is a Rottweiler who Shane had before leaving his home in Detroit. Eventually Humphrey was revealed to be a dog who was able to fight as well as attack dogs.

Shane is born with the ability to make armor, trinkets, magical items, and other such items. He also has a small control over fire, but only enough to charge his weapons with fire and if he is in a tight space, a flashy concussive blast.

Shane has many tools for smithing and creating certain things. He hangs them up in his room on a supply shelf next to a desk he uses to construct ideas for things to create.

I should really check with him I think he is the son of Athena, he‘s like twenty one or something, he has a degree in criminology and psychology. He‘s a P.I. down in Los Angeles… and my mother… uhm… what’s to say? She had me before she left. For good. So I don’t know her and I don’t want to know her. Same with my father, that back stabbing son of a.. *Turns off tape recorder for a second*. Sorry for that,” Years in Camp:“I’ve been here since I was ten… I think,” History: “Well, where to start… uhm… I guess my father? So he was sixteen when he met my aunt Athena, and uh, they went out for… I think a week and on a Saturday, they got with each other if you know what I mean. Then uh his parents threw him out and nine months later he received my brother, Christian. From then on he turned into a very cold man, very short with his sentences and uh he loved the cold. That’s when Khione came in and they went out for a week as well, also on a Saturday, my father got with Khione and they conceived me. So, nine months later my dad received me. He was so angry about two goddesses leaving him with kids, that he killed like five people and then he tried to kill us. I don’t know what stopped him, I think it was a police officer or fireman or the baby killing police,” “Ok so, my life, so I was sent to Australia with Christian after my father was put on death row. Christian from the get go was everyone’s favorite, he was the smartest, the most polite, and the most charming. So I used the one thing I was good at, being a loner. I never paid much attention in school, mostly I would draw or write stories. Some people who stumbled upon them or were watching what I was doing during class, thought they were pretty good. I never acted on that and I wish I had. I was diagnosed with Dyslexia ADHD and so was Christian but Christian just really was amazing at studies. I sucked. I wish I could go back and change that,” “So, I was eight, when uh I was approached by some less than… er… well they were bad kids. I don’t know what happened then, and it helps me so much now. Well back to the story, these kids tried to beat me up but the first time they threw a punch I parried it and broke his arm. They started taking out switchblades and I disarmed them all. I was doing good, and I didn’t have much training at all. So, I fight pretty well I guess,” “Ok. So we have all been waiting for, how did I get to Camp Half-Blood? So I was ten and Christian was fourteen and we had a field trip where we went to New York by now I have that sexy Australian accent for being here since I was one. So we were walking past grand central when I don’t know what it was it was still blurry. Uh, it was some type of monster or… I don’t know. It was these dog things, hellhounds is most what most people call them, they pounced on Christian and I… and uh… it bit my eye, and I am… currently blind in my left eye. Which actually kinda helps. Sorta. So I was trying to get this dog off me and uh a Satyr apparently was in our group at the time, his name is Mr. Moomoo named for his black and white goat legs. He threw me bronze knife, I still thank him and the gods because right then, the hellhound went for my neck when I stuck my knife down his throat and pulled it out. The dog turned into dust, and while I used one hand to make sure I don’t bleed out, I used the other hand to throw Christian the knife where he went all martial artist on the dogs. Right then, Mr. Moomoo took us to Camp Half-Blood,” “About… three weeks later Christian was claimed. About a year later I was claimed… Just goes to show you even gods favor Christian more than I. After that, I don’t know I guess I let go and started to… cut myself. Yeah I can admit it. So, I started to learn how to control ice and snow, and uh, after five years of training, I’m pretty good at it as well. Christian left camp when I was fourteen to go pursue a career and he did. He’s great at it as well. I continued to stay here. So I guess you want to know the juicy stuff eh? Well, I’ve never kissed anyone. I’ve never been on a date. HISTORY

Atticus was born in California in Los Angeles to an average family. He grew up quite normally, never really paying much mind to the world around him. He grew up playing with friends, playing video games, and solving puzzles. Again, his childhood wasn’t interesting by any account.
He became very adept at solving different problems and he realized his Demigod power during a trip celebrating his seventeenth birthday. This is when it got interesting, but only a little. He was driving through New York with his mother and stepfather, when they decided they were hungry and stopped by a restaurant near the Brooklyn Bridge.
After a short meal, they headed out from the restaurant and, while his parents took pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge, he walked over to a nearby taped-off alleyway and saw several policemen on the other side of the alleyway talking to a coroner. He snuck under the tape and looked down at the white paint that outlined the former place of a corpse. He felt a strange sensation and felt his vision turn into gray as a white ghost appeared from the white outline and told him the story of her murder. As he got out of this trance, he realized when she had died, how she had died, and who had killed her. It was a Demigod. A daughter of Athena. She was murdered by a monster. A Cyclops and a hellhound.
As he headed out of the alleyway, he saw a Cyclops and a hellhound approaching him, knowing that he knew his secret. After a long chase, the tension ended on the Brooklyn Bridge, where Atticus ran from the monsters on the street of the highly jammed bridge while the Cyclops and Hellhound followed close behind. As they got further into the bridge, the traffic died down until it was nearly empty. The Hellhound then tackled Atticus to the ground and he kicked it off, making it fall off of the side of the bridge and down to the water. As he got to his feet, he looked to see the Cyclops approaching fast and looked behind him to see a car moving to the side of the road, away from them. However, with a quick jerk of his hand, he had accidentally used necromantic magic to pull the front wheels of the car toward them.
Atticus leaped out of the way of the car just in time, leaping over the railing and into the walkway as the car slammed into the Cyclops, shooting him off into the water below. But, the car’s impact jerked much of the railing on the side off, and when Atticus used it to get to his feet, he felt it break loose. He turned to his mother and step father who were looking at the scene from the same place they were taking pictures from, tried to yell something, but was only met with the rushing air from the fall. He landed in the water, the railing landing on top of him, pushing him further down.
He drifted aimlessly through the water until washing up on a shore and finding himself being dragged to an unknown location. He woke up some time later, in the infirmary of Camp Half Blood. After a a couple months of integration, he was claimed by his father, Hades. He still wishes to find his parents, find an explanation about why he’s the Son of a God and not the father he always knew and to tell him that he’s alive. But right now, he’s got more to be worried about. Like… cooty-filled girls and monsters.
Oh and he got a dog too. It's a malimute. Its name is Shadow.
