Nikki slipped into the strawberry fields, the summer breeze blowing her tawny colored hair about. Few people would bother wandering around the strawberry fields this time of night. The moon was high in the clear sky, with stars sparkling like diamonds. Glancing upwards, Nikki watched a plane pass by overhead, it's lights flashing distantly.

Blinking, the demigod pulled out on of her cigarette packs and a lighter, selecting one and lighting it. The small burning embers at the tip of the cigarette was the only source of light other than the moon's reflected rays. Blowing a puff of smoke into the air, a smile formed on her lips. There was something about the rush she got from the small object in her fingers that always made her day, or night rather.

Kicking her sandal-covered feet at the wood chips (meant to protect the strawberries from weeds and such), she let out a girly giggle. Her brown eyes searched for anyone near, and finding none, she decided to hum. Nikki's humming soon broke out into a soft song, with occasional pauses to take a drag of her still-burning cigarette.

"Hello my name is, nice to meet you, I think you're famous, where have I - " she began, before hearing a branch snap ahead of her. Or wait, maybe that was her head? Blinking her eyes open, she saw that she had hit her head on something, and was currently on the ground. Nikki's first concern was her cigarette, which must've flown out of her hand. Shrugging that off, she rubbed her head, feeling a bump form. "Ouch."

Mason walks through camp, not really paying attention to where he goes. He's letting his feet take him wherever they want to go. Pretty soon he ends up at the strawberry fields. Blinking he looks around slowly, before walking around a bit. It's rather warm out, so he's being eaten alive by bugs. Maybe he should just leave? That way the bugs will stop eating him.

As he turns to leave, Mason steps on a large stick. He hears the loud crack as the stick breaks in half. Blinking he continues to walk, not really carrying about breaking a stick. Up ahead he notices the girl. He slows down and watches her. Hm she's pretty. He continues to walk, but not as fast as before.

Mason watches as the girl falls, and hits her head. He quickly runs towards her. Bending down next to her, he looks at the girl. "Are you okay? You hit your head. It looked painful"he says to the girl. As he talks Mason does not stop to think that he might be overwheleming her. Or giving her a headache. Instead he just stares at her, a concerned look on his face.

Nikki's eyes shot in the direction of more sound, making the bump on her head seem to worsen. However, the amount of pain was quickly gone after seeing the boy's features. He was attractive, to say the least. (even to a half-drunk demigod) She simply blinked at him as he spoke, not really listening to him. "Er... what?" Nikki asked, rubbing her eyes with the palm of her hand.

She had forgotten what had happened, but didn't really care either. Why care? Finding the bump on her head, Nikki remembered he was talking to her. "Pfttt, I'm fine," the demigod responded, a sly smile curving at the edges of her lips. Hiccuping slightly, the faint smell of alcohol was still present on her, despite the fact that she hadn't had a drop since this afternoon.

Shifting her position on the ground, the demigod decided she could try and stand. Placing her feet beneath her, and using the tree for support, the demigod stood. Barely. Nikki wasn't sure what it was, but she didn't think moving would be a good idea. "So..." she said, hoping the attractive boy hadn't noticed her slight difficulty with movement. "Why are you out so late?"

Mason rolls eyes eyes as he watches the girl. He can tell that she is obviously lying to him. It's not that hard to tell. Anyone can see that this girl is drunk. Letting out a small sigh, he watches as she attempts to stand up. "You do know that you really do not look fine"he says softly. He then shakes his head, and steps closer to her.

He puts his hand on her arm, steadying her. "I can't sleep"he says to answer her question. He then starts to think about why she is even asking him this. He should be the one asking her. "Might I ask, why you are out this late when you are visibly drunk?"he asks her. Oops, he mentioned her drunken state. Oh well, it's rather obvious.
