Here comes the new guy (OPEN)

"So this is half blood hill, finally" A boy said as he began to walk toward camp. His clothing was dirty and his jeans were torn from the harpy attack that happened a few miles back. His glasses were dirty and cellphone was broken by the minotaur attack that made him abandon his car a state back. Sighing he scratched his head. Is this the place? the place where his step dad learned to defend himself from the monsters that lived in the world? Tripping over his shoe laces and knocking his head on a tree he cursed. So far his arrival at camp halfblood was starting out well.

The boy began to rub the back of his head and curse once or twice more before the girl came up. The tree had hurt more so then his other wounds. Probably cause it was fresh. Sighing he heard a someone call out to him. Looking up he saw a girl with a cocky smile which caused him to instinctively scowl before lightening up. It was an instinct where he lived he had to always keep a hard face or people would take advantage of you. You had to intimidate your enemy, make it so they don't want to make the first move against you. It was all war tactic, not that he would need it here at this moment.

Cracking a grin he responded, "Nah, tis just a flesh wound. hello Corin, the names Brian." Getting up he looked toward the Corin and smiled. "I would shake your hand.. but I had abit of a crazy trip up here know anywhere I could get a shower.... Or at least somewhere where i can wash my hands."

Brian Jackson/ Son of Ares

Brian laughed at the comment. "What? didn't you know outside of this place dirty hobo is all the rage, and luckily I am the fashionable man you will ever meet." Brian listened to the girl's next comment about what she would get for taking him to the camp. Brian mind began to move at a mile a minute at the comment. What could he really say after that... well there was a multitude of words he could say but would he say. His face made a quizzical look at that comment but luckily for him she said that she was joking. "Whew.. I almost thought..." he mumbled as he began to follow her. "Pfft lovely? I got attacked by harpies, minotaurs, and a rabid woodchuck... don't ask, but my father died and I had to come here since my mother is near defenseless to the monsters that try to find me."

Brian scratched his arm as he continued to walk. Well that was alot of information that he gave to a girl he barely knew. Heck all he knew about her was that her name was Corin and nothing else. "So how long have you been at this camp?"

Brian laughed at her comment about the shoot and sighed. "Well if thats the norm I best learn what I need quick then." Once she stopped and asked him who his father was he stopped walking and for once his face got serious, his voice was angry, and his fist was clenched. "My father is a man named Alex, now if your talking about my 'dad' he some bigshot deadbeat named Ares." Brian spat. After a moment of silence Brian calmed down and continued, "Im 16... my father was demigod son of Athena... he kept watch over me and protected me until two weeks ago." Brian said looking off into the distance. "He gave me this necklace" he said showing the necklace on his neck, it shined silver.

"What about you who is your father, Corin?" Brian asked trying to change the subject.

"Alex was already dead when I learned about Ares, my mother told me..." Brian said still looking off in the distance. Honestly he didn't care if his father was the god of war or the god of mattress sells man it wasn't going to change his opinion of him. Before he came to the came he read one or two books for school about Ares and all it detailed was that he was a brutal man who fought for fighting sake. Unfortunately instead of making Brian fear him or feel pride in being his biological son it only made him more and more resentful. Anger was slowly boiling in him the more he thought of Ares but looking at his necklace calmed him. It was something that someone who actually knew him, taught him, spoke to him, and expected much from him gave him. It was more important to him then anything else in the world.

Ignoring the comment about Ares and Aphrodite Brian laughed. "God of the forge? meaning you can make weapons? that's pretty awesome." Brian smiled. Once they reached the big house's porched he wondered what happens next.

Brian raised his eyebrow at Corin's response about being able to make weaponry and decided to ignore it. Seemed he wasn't the only one with a few issues he shrugged it off and began to walk inside of the big house laughing, "Don't go peeking on me now" Once inside he began to take a shower. The dirt and blood began to wash off his body. The warm water splashed on his face and hair. During the shower Brian swore. His wounds still hadn't completely healed. Once he was done he found that his clothes that he brought were gone and in it's place was a T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans, some undergarments, and his old sneakers. Putting them on Brian walked out of the Big house. Now that the dirt was gone anyone could see Brian's brown skin, his dark black hair, his handsome face, and his clean black glasses instead of the hobo look that he was once rocking as he entered the camp.

"alright now, where do I go next..." Brian asked looking around the area.

Taking the drink, and thanking the girl for the drink he felt a warm feeling covering his body. His wounds began to close and his mind went numb for a moment, when he was done he said. "Wow what was that?" then when she said something about him needing to be claimed he asked, "claimed? how does that work?" Walking with Corin, Brian shrugged. "Im use to harsh people... Am which one am I, am I the kind one or the harsh one?"

Brian laughed, "neither am I? well I guess your right you haven't known me long... Hopefully we can change that." Brian smiled. As they continued to walked he noticed a few Aphrodite girls. Staring at them a moment his mouth hung for a bit. They were prettier then what he expected girls around to be like. Closing his mouth he continued to follow Corin till they got to the Ares Cabin. Sighing at the look of it he said, "if this place is as bad as you say... just a warning...  Someone is going to end up going through a window.. If the camp has windows that is."

Brian smiled at Corin when she began to talk about the Aphrodite girls and how evil could be. Brian guessed that there was some kind of rivalry between her and the girls. Brian looked back at the Aphrodite girls again, if those kind of girls come to this camp then there must be one or two poisonous ones. Brian shrugged, he didn't want to get caught up in to much drama at least not on his day. Besides the thing that interested Brian more wasn't the Aphrodite girls but Corin's reaction, seemed that there was bad blood between them. At that thought he sighed, there was no point thinking to much into it.

Walking into the cabin Brian put both hands into his pocket and gave a medium loud "Hey." The sound caused one of the cabin members who didn't care much to get up. "Who are you?" the boy asked. "I go by many names, but my friends call me Brian, and apparently I'm son of Ares." Brian responded. "Apparently? have you not been claimed?"
"Not yet"
"Then how do you know?"
"My mother told me."
"Ohh look guys he thinks he can walk into our cabin cause his mommy told him that he was the sun of Ares. How about you leave now and I don't have to hurt you." The boy said with one or two other camp members laughing behind him.
Brian clenched his fist. "You can try but don't be mad if I lay you out." Brian obviously was beginning to lose patience with the other guy. Where he was from most people would get shot for saying less. The boy laughed and threw a curled fist straight at Brian. Lifting his arm just in time he caught the fist inches from his face. Moving his leg around the boy's knee he pushed forward and brought the boy to the ground with a basic trip. Bringing his own fist Inches from the other boy's face Brian laughed, "Don't test me." Inches from Brian's own head a symbol began to glow above his head, it was the symbol of Ares.

Brian looked back seeing that Corin was leaving. Smiling he responded, "See ya, Corin. Let's hang out again sometime." Brian turned his head with a broad smiling and as the door closed Brian's voice could be heard saying, "So which one of you wants to come at me next?"
