I don't exactly know why, but it takes very little to set me off these days. Schoolwork keeps piling up by the minute (which makes me wonder what am I still doing here when I should be facing my books); people are getting on my nerves all the time (and most probably, me on theirs too); I'm scared because of something my dad just said in the other room (something about not being sure if he could live long enough for my graduation - and because that's a rough English translation of what he said, I really hope I misheard/misunderstood it); and here I am putting off the more important things to do and typing out this post (oh and I'll have my last set of midterms tomorrow - oh joy).

CHB used to be a safe haven for me - an escape from reality, if you will. At first, it was a place where I could write, but slowly it turned into somewhere I could hang out with friends who are on the other sides of the world. Somewhere I could just have fun and think nothing of it. Lately though, it doesn't feel like it anymore. Every time I open a tab for CHB, I remember all the things I should be doing - both offline and online. Schoolwork is obviously one of them, but there's more. Like the rps I left hanging. Character mod/cabin leader duties. And my friends... I don't talk to them as much as I used to, and I miss them. I also miss the carefree c-box times, PM moments, hearing about what's going on in each other's lives... These things - they made me guilty but now, they're starting to drive me crazy.

I'm sorry that you have to wait a little longer if I marked your character as pending. Sorry if I kept you waiting in rps or if I ditched them. Sorry for not talking to you more, for not making it feel like we're friends. And I'm sorry that I have to make you wait longer, because I'm going to take a break until the end of March. Yeah... there's just too much going on both on the internet and off that sometimes, I'm afraid that I'll just explode.

Wow this just turned from a rant into a not-properly-thought-out 'away' thread, didn't it? Well, I guess I wanted a way to get these off my chest, hoping that announcing a hiatus would give me more reason to get off CHB and dedicate my time to what I am supposed to be doing.

Anyway, to cut the long story short, I'm not going to be around the next few weeks because of mostly stress. See you around soon...ish.

PS: And since this is also some kind of a rant thread, let me add one last thing. Paramore will be having a concert in my country on the 15th and I CAN'T GO BECAUSE IT'S MILES AWAY AND MY PARENTS DON'T SPEND MONEY ON THINGS LIKE CONCERT TICKETS /SOB

YES, YES IT WAS. Fricking epic man. I still can't fathom how Hayley can sing that amazingly for two hours while running around the stage and headbanging (and twice - if I recall correctly - even lying down on the stage while still belting out those notes) and gaaaah. AND THAT PRESSURE FLIP. They have this music video where at one point, one of their guitarists kinda jumps, flips over and rolls off the other's back as they play and holy crap it was so awesome to watch Jeremy and Taylor do it live on that stage ardtvbeuvfnrofmlrg
