I paced around the courtyard. Decision making wasn't my forte. I knew that my dad's brain cancer wasn't that bad, not as bad as it had been, but I missed him. I missed Indiana. I missed my life. I didn't know what to do. I'd been at camp a year and now I was contemplating leaving. "Argh!" I muttered.

I sat in front of a cabin. I could not see which one I heard foot steps near by. Standing up I staggered my way towards the noise. I tripped over a rock and fell on my face. My glasses and cane flying out of my hands.

I came around the side of the cabin. An older guy lay on the ground. I rushed over to him and kneelled down and looked into his eyes. "Are you okay?" I asked.

"Well, I just wanted to make sure you're okay. What did you lose? Can I help?" I asked. The guy was way taller than me. He looked about seventeen, eighteen? I felt awkward looking up at him to speak.
