    pegasus riding death from above
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: The Stables/Horse Path
Hoisting the bags of apples and carrots higher up her back, Iris gritted her teeth and trudged forward, amassing an impressive pile of snow on both toes of her fashionable black boots. With her other arm, she cradled a lighter but still large bag of sugar cubes. Horses were so spoiled, but they needed to be if you wanted them to cooperate with you - unless you happened to be a child of Poseidon. But Iris was fairly sure that children of Poseidon also had to bribe horses sometimes.

Teaching people how to ride horses was easy, she wasn't worried about that, and she didn't have to worry about whether it would be too easy either. The weather would take care of that for it. Although it wasn't snowing, it was windy, wintery, the air crisp and cold. Hopefully any students she had wouldn't find it too difficult. The wind wasn't strong enough to blow anyone off their pegasus' back, but in case it was, Iris just hoped she would be fast enough to catch them.

She wasn't expecting too many people. Being able to ride a pegasus was probably a handy skill for people who used long range weapons. It definitely wouldn't hurt if Camp had some aerial fighters on their side, it might make the difference in the war even. They would have to practice the actual fighting and flying at the same time bit by themselves, however, Iris knew how to ride a pegasus and how to fight with a sword but she couldn't do both at the same time.
She had prepped about a dozen pegasi even though her hopes weren't too high when it came to participation rates. It never hurt to be prepared.

Callista Eira Mint

Daughter of Aphrodite
Callista's hands were shoved in her deep pockets as she ran over to the Pegasus riding station. Once she heard about the training, she figured that it would only make her a better demigod. Sneakers squishing under the slush, she bit her lip. Callie hated the cold, personally, but loved the horses and Pegasuses of camp.

Brushing the curls from her face, she exhaled with a whiff of icy breath coming from her chapped lips. "Hi Iris!" the girl greeted, waving a cold hand at the cabin leader. She hoed that she could help the camp out if she knew what to do on something, or at least with something. Callie eyed the animals happily, a smile forming on her lips. "How are you?" she asked cheerily.
